We also appreciated the extra garnishes and mixers they brought, which added a nice touch to the bar. Overall, we were happy with the quality of the drinks and the service our guests received. There was, however, one issue that I feel future couples should be aware of. We booked the $550 luxury package, which we understood to include the mixers and sodas needed for the bar. The contract states that Burzy’s is responsible for providing “all cups, mixers, straws, garnishes, and ice,” unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Before our wedding, I specifically asked whether sodas such as Coke and Sprite were included, and I was told in writing, “For $550 we provide all of that so yes to the sodas.” Because I had specifically confirmed this beforehand, I did not purchase or plan separately for those sodas. On the wedding day, Sprite and other mixers were provided, but Coke and Diet Coke were not available, which resulted in some confusion during setup regarding who was responsible for obtaining them. I reached out afterward because I wanted to communicate directly, understand their perspective, and resolve the discrepancy amicably rather than immediately leaving a negative review. I appreciated being able to have that conversation, although I did feel that some of the comments made during the discussion were unnecessary and came across as dismissive, which was disappointing. My biggest recommendation for Burzy’s would be clearer communication in the contract and beforehand about exactly which sodas and mixers are included and which are the client’s responsibility. If certain items are excluded, I believe that should be clearly stated, especially when a couple specifically asks about those items beforehand. That said, I genuinely want to emphasize that this issue did not overshadow the positive aspects of our experience. The drinks were delicious, our guests enjoyed the bartenders, and Burzy’s was overall a positive part of our wedding day. I believe this was ultimately a communication and expectation issue that could be easily avoided with more specific package descriptions and clearer communication.
