Buss Farms is owned and operated by the Buss family. Founded on faith and family, the operation was begun with the intention of caring for the land and providing healthy food. For this reason, their cattle are raised on a pure grass diet, free from harmful chemicals. The family began hosting weddings on the farm because they wanted to share their beautiful land with couples, giving them a tranquil and scenic setting for their milestone celebrations.

Hi there!
We are Matt & Stephanie Buss, the owners of Buss Farms. We started our cattle farm for our children. To feed them quality foods and to teach them how to care for animals and the Earth. Ever since we planned our own farm wedding in 2017, we. have dreamed of opening a wedding venue! So when our cattle farming operation led us to purchasing a beautiful former dairy farm in Pataskala, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to pursue our wedding venue dream! We can't wait to be a part of your love story!

the venue was the owners, Stephanie and Matt. They were extremely communicative, willing to make anything work for us, and they were just as excited about the wedding as we were.

decorations for the wedding, we let the venue speak for itself. They both kept in constant contact with us, even allowing us to show our parents the venue before the wedding. We hired Stephanie as our Day-Of coordinator, and we couldn't have made it throughout the day without her! She goes above and beyond for the couples. She made sure it was perfect and that we kept on time with the detailed timeline we came up with for the big day. She even went through what the ceremony would be like if it were to rain and didn't let us worry about a thing the day of. She even kept watch on a disabled family member to be sure they were taken care of for us. They worked with us on a payment schedule. We were planning our wedding in 5 months, and they were super flexible on payments as to not overwhelm us. They even drove us around on their gator to spots we wanted for our photos, and let us feed the cows! They also sent us pictures they had taken of the moment after the ceremony when it was just the 2 of us, and we love that they captured that moment! I would highly recommend Buss Farms to anyone who's looking for a beautiful outdoor/indoor venue with amazing owners and a wonderful couple to work with!

he farm with Matt and Stephanie it only added to our excitement. Planning went smoothly, communication was easy, nothing seemed to give us any trouble. On the day of our wedding, Matt escorted our guests that were not able to walk very well to their seats with the gator. The guest house provided ample room to get the bridal party ready while the gents hung out shooting pool. Lastly but most importantly, the barn turned into what seemed to be a wonderland of floral arrangements and drapery that shimmered with the perfect lighting. Coupled with the cocktail bar and fire pit there was nothing left to do but have fun. Of course it’s a great venue, but with the care and time that Matt and Stephanie take you’re assured nothing short of a perfect day! You may even gain a pair of friends, because after our time with them, that’s what they have become!
