Our flowers were beautiful and almost exactly what I envisioned, but at time I was unsure if our order would have been completed. Heidi at times was unresponsive (especially as we ...
got to crunch time in planning...) which made me extremely nervous.
But what really ercked me with working with Busy Bee was on the day of our wedding they delivered our flowers late... we were halfway through pictures when they finally arrived. Although this obviously didn't "ruin" our pictures, it sure did alter a schedule that was established months in advance. On important days like a wedding day I feel that it is extremely important for vendors to stay on track with deliveries that are agreed upon well in advance.
Hired Busybee florist, Heidi to make my daughters wedding centerpieces and wedding party approx a year in advance. Discussed numerous times what Types of flowers, berries and gree...
ns to be used and Heidi agreed and loved the “vision”. Met with Heidi , the owner numerous times during the year to confirm everything. Three days before the wedding I went in to pay Heidi the final pmt and was surprised to see them putting the arrangements together on Friday morning for a Sunday evening wedding!! Also I questioned why there were NO succulents in any of the arrangements This was very important as this was the theme and favors. she said they wouldn’t look right. All along Heidi agreed to use certain flowers for the groomsmen and fathers and she changed that on her own and said they were not in season however she used them in the bouquet. Very unhappy that Heidi just did what she wanted and her excuse was “ they still look pretty”. Heidi forgets a lot and takes terrible notes. Don’t trust her, she lies. She got her money however she wouldnt reimburse me for the lack of flowers that I paid for and she agreed upon. I had no choice but to accept what she made as it was three days before the wedding and I wouldn’t be able to change florists at that point and I had already paid for half. My daughter noticed right away when she saw her flowers and was very upset. Don’t be fooled!!!!
Heidi did such an amazing job on my wedding flowers! Her prices are fair and her taste is impeccable - also she has the cutest shop dog ever! I would work with her again in a heart...

Heidi and her shop is a gem. We had no idea what to do for flowers and after a frustrating first meeting I was nervous. The next time I met her, she understood I needed guidance, a...
nd came up with all the ideas- and she was right! Everyone commented how lovely the flowers were, they complimented the wedding party perfectly. She took my basic ideas and turned them into something extraordinary. Highly recommend her!
Heidi is a creative florist and her arrangements are beautiful, however she is really disorganized and not able to handle basic things like delivering an accurate price quote. She ...
really left me in a bind right before my wedding. When we initially met she did not factor labor and taxes into her estimate. We did not receive a total amount until two weeks before the wedding date and when we did, it was $1200 more than the total we had initially discussed. She was completely unwilling to work with me to bring the cost down, and spent much of the time telling me how sorry she felt for me because I had picked a complicated venue. She complained to me that she was not making any money off of me, she complained that her staff was disorganized, she complained that my caterer was costing too much. I ended up spending a lot of time dealing with her emotions, and I ultimately could not afford her for the wedding, and had to go elsewhere at the last minute.
Months ago we worked out all the details with this florist and 2 weeks before the wedding they doubled the cost, with no explanation why. This was unacceptable to us so we luckily...
found another florist and fired Busy Bee. Stay away from this florist. I am the mother of the bride and the woman running the shop has no ethics or feelings for what she has done to the bride. She had no interest in working out a solution so we lost all confidence in her. It felt good to fire her. The woman is clueless and thinks we just needed more money for lighting and that is totally not the case. She handled her customer all wrong in this case.
I lived in Newton for 4 years and most weekends always drove by Busy Bee Florist. I knew once I started planning my wedding that I wanted local vendors involved. From the second I ...
met Heidi she was so warm and inviting and I knew she was going to make my wedding flowers special. On August 17, 2018 my husband and I were married at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxborough, MA and when we walked into the ballroom we were blown away! Heidi took the exact photos I gave her and made them come to life. The flowers were gorgeous and she far exceeded our expectations. We received comments all night about how beautiful our centerpieces were. Heidi even made special golf tee boutonniere’s to go with our golf theme and she made them look so perfect! Busy Bee Florist will always have a very special place in our hearts. Thank You for making our dream come to life! –Adrienne & Darren

icture. Busy Bee's prices were also MUCH LOWER than any other Boston area florist we contacted. My one complaint is that Heidi and her team can be slow to respond to emails and sometimes forget to follow-up. A few times, I had to reach out when I did not receive an email or invoice a week after it had been promised.
Giti was amazing!! She was so easy to work with, especially since I was living overseas during all the preparations. The pieces all came out amazing and matched the dresses just b...
eautifully. She also gave me advice on tips to help me stay within my budge. The day of, all of my wedding party kept saying how friendly and lovely she was. I feel like she really wants to make sure your day looks amazing. You can tell she loves what she does. Big thank you to Giti for helping make my day extra beautiful.

Busy Bee Florist in the Nonantum section of Newton was the sweetest, most reliable and reasonable vendor we dealt with for our daughter’s August wedding. The theme was wildflowers...
and Heidi did a great job keeping with that theme. The mother of the groom was doing all the flowers for the tables and she had very helpful advice for that, even though she wasn’t providing those flowers. We needed bouquets, corsages, etc. and Heidi’s flowers were right on. In addition, when we were afraid that it was going to rain, at the last minute she rented us an arch and decorated it with tulle and bows for minimal cost. It was delivered along with the flowers and picked up the next day. She is reasonably priced, great to deal with and has wonderful ideas. When we all saw the bouquets etc there was just a sigh of “Oh-how perfect!”. Get the personal service you want from Heidi and Christina at Busy Bee.
