Butch Gray, Disc Jockey/Entertainer, LLC

be was perfect and he got the party going! Butch was a friend of my father who had passed away and he worked in a special song for him which was so memorable! Highly recommend Butch for your wedding or event!

able, professional, and willing to work with us and help bring our visions to life. He offered suggestions for the ceremony/reception too which were great! On wedding day, we really appreciated the little things Butch did to help everything run smoothly. For example, he checked in with the wedding party prior to introductions, to make sure he was pronouncing everyone's name correctly. Butch even recorded our entire ceremony, first dance, and champagne toasts as a keepsake. During the reception, the dance floor was never empty! He played all the songs we requested and threw in others to help keep the party going. Thanks Butch for helping to make our day so special!

ered us advice whenever we had any question and was very responsive. He was enthusiastic even with some of our more silly or unconventional requests, and never once made us feel awkward about it. He was very tuned in to the crowd and made sure there was music for all ages to dance to along and the crowd loved him! We are still getting complements about how great of a DJ he was a month later! He made us feel so confident in choosing him as our DJ. If I could rate him higher than 5 stars, I absolutely would! I recommend him to anyone!

y wedding and he rolled with it and made sure what I wanted happened. The dance floor was packed all night long! I received amazing reviews from my wedding guests as well. Highly, highly highly recommend!!

You can tell he truly enjoys what he does! Would highly recommend!!!

day so easy. So so great to work with!

nd he did not disappoint!! He also helped us stick to our timeline & made sure all our formalities were completed. We got so many compliments from guests on how bumpin the dance floor was. He was always so positive through the planning process and checked in regularly with us to make sure we were excited and ready to go!!

knows how to bring the energy from the introductions, to the first dances, and everything in between! Easy to say, he knows how to keep the dance floor packed all night long! We, and our guests, had so much fun dancing the night away thanks to DJ Butch Gray! We highly recommend him for any of your entertainment needs!

h was professional, informative, and genuinely invested in making our night magical. He was incredibly easy to work with, helping us plan every detail seamlessly. On the big day, Butch went above and beyond. He arrived early to set up and ensure the sound for our ceremony was perfect, including mics for our officiant and readers. The music selection throughout the night was spot on, and he was an outstanding emcee, keeping everything flowing smoothly and entertaining our guests. His energy was contagious, and he had everyone dancing from start to finish. The vibe he created was exactly what we hoped for—AMAZING! If you’re looking for a DJ who is both talented and dedicated to making your event special, we highly recommend Butch Gray. He made our wedding night unforgettable!

s and reassured us throughout the worries and stress of pre-wedding planning! He ensured us that the day would run smoothly, and it sure did! His mixes were incredible and kept the dance floor packed until the very end of the night. He took all of our requests and our guests requests and was an incredible emcee for the entire event. If you are looking for someone who will bring experience, care, and energy to your event, you have found the right person.Thank you so much, Butch!

wedding reception. Butch asked for some guidance, such as favorite artists and styles of music they disliked. I was able to reach Butch via text or email almost instantaneously when questions arose. His attire matched the vibe of the party-classic casual-and he started off the party with nice background music. However once dinner was consumed, the dance floor was packed for the rest of the night. He picked up on the vibe of the moment and all of his song choices were built on that. He was unobtrusive, yet still an integral part of the celebration. He was recommended by Creative Concepts by Lisa and did not disappoint. He will make your celebration exactly what you envision! Do not hesitate to hire Butch for any of your music needs-he is the BEST!

d someone who could get the party up on their feet and dancing the whole night — DJ Butch was exactly that! He was thoughtful in getting to know us — and his process for selecting music (e.g., must plays, do not plays, and general preferences) was super helpful. He was fun, clearly loves the work he does, and we hope we are able to work with him at another event in the future. We would, without any hesitation, recommend him to our closest friends and family — and you as well!

great he was. He had the dance floor full from the opening song until the end of the night!! He had the perfect balance between emceeing and letting the music “speak” for itself. He made sure to play a little something for all generations and it felt like he always had the perfect song queued up next. We’re so happy we booked Butch for our wedding and would highly recommend him!!

ding day. He was incredibly easy to work with through the whole process. We were ecstatic to heard some of our favorite songs put to some great beats to keep the entire wedding dancing all night. Everything from introductions, to first dances, and wedding music was perfect. Seriously, you can't ask for a better DJ for such an important day. Thank you Butch!!

patient and accommodating with whatever requests/questions we had. Two of my friends have now booked him for their weddings! Best DJ ever! Run and book him now!

sts dancing! He was respectful, organized and very easy to work with. We highly recommend Butch to anyone looking for an awesome DJ!

resence during a process that can be stressful. We booked Butch for our Covid-19 're-do' in 2022, 2 years after our original plan. I loved his website structure that allowed me to add our "must-haves", likes, and do-not-plays. I was also able to input all of the information about specific songs for each big moment during the ceremony and reception, such as ceremony music, first dances, and cake cutting. Each moment went off without a hitch and I kept thinking "Hey! This is the song I wanted to hear during this moment!" Our guests absolutely loved the entire vibe of the wedding which was brought over the top by Butch's incredible skills! Our families and guests all commented on how wonderful and personable Butch was, which meant a lot to us. We wanted vendors who represented us as a couple in terms of how they engage, and Butch truly excels at this! We were also so impressed by how well Butch worked with our other vendors and our venue. Everything felt so cohesive and flowed so beautifully. Butch was incredibly flexible; when our toasts location unexpectedly switched at the last minute when the rain let up after the ceremony, he jumped right in and moved his equipment outside to document the moment . He was right there when we needed him and recorded the toasts from family and friends that we will treasure forever. We were also so impressed by how well Butch worked with our other vendors and our venue. This is exactly the type of vendor you want leading up to and on your big day! He absolutely delivered on everything we were hoping for and more!! THANK YOU!

planning tool that helped us think through every detail of our day along with helping us fine tune our timeline. He accommodated all requests during the reception with ease. He kept everyone dancing from the minute dinner finished to end of the reception. Would highly recommend him to any other bride! Thank you, Butch!

accommodating when it came to day of song requests, he knew exactly the vibe we were going for and he kept the party going. He helped create the atmosphere we wanted for dinner service and knew how to get people on the dance floor - and keep them there! Butch was enthusiastic and willing to help set up and operate the sound system for our ceremony, even when that wasn't originally the plan! Butch was SO gracious and did everything with a smile. We really, REALLY, cannot thank him enough!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

! He is easy and great to work with. He helped us with suggestions when picking songs, he made sure he was familiar with our venue, and really paid attention to what we were looking for. When I tell you our dance floor was full the whole night, I'm not kidding! He truly made our wedding such a fun night to remember :)

easy. Our wedding day ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were in three different areas at the venue and butch had the perfect equipment for each area, no hick ups. We got compliments all night on how great he was not only from our guests but our other vendors. The lighting he brought made the room look amazing, sound quality was on point, literally could not of gone better, the absolute best night of our lives thanks to him - rob and cait 10/22/22 Birchwoods

ects of the reception was perfect, and we are really happy with the uplighting that he did as well. It was all beautiful!! He kept the dance floor PACKED all night, and the groom and I were having too much fun to leave the dance floor for most of the night!! Couldn’t be happier— we’d hire him again in a heartbeat!!

first phone call with my clients through til the end of the evening of the wedding! As a wedding planner, it makes a world of difference to work with other vendors who truly care about our mutual clients and their thorough enjoyment of their wedding day. Butch Gray was helpful and accommodating when our day hit a bit of a snag due to weather and he adjusted with ease. He is positive, fun, kind and has a very welcoming personality which I felt was so respectful for all guests, family, friends, vendors, venue staff, etc. I recommend him in the highest regard and can't wait to work with him again. Thank you Butch!

r venue to help go over last minute details. Has done many other events for me in the past. Always a great time with Butch Gray.

twice and he was nothing but attentive to the situation. He didn't ask questions, he simply responded promptly to me and said we will make this work. He didn't ask for more money, or to pay my balance in full. He switched everything over without hesitation. My fiancé and I can't wait until next year to have him DJ our event. We are BIG music people and know he is going to kill the music game. If you are looking for a DJ, he is your man!

want to give speeches. He made sure the night was all about us, and our guests raved for weeks about how much fun they had because of him. Our guests were dancing the entire night, all the way up until we had to kick them out. I truly would recommend him to everyone.

out special day and eased our nerves throughout the entire planning process. The day of the wedding he helped orchestrate the day to run smoothly with our venue and photographer. We would recommend Butch to anyone who is getting married or having a special event.

e party started! If my husband and I could rate 10 stars we would!

chedule. This is such an important, but overlooked element of a wedding. Without an experienced and well organized DJ, the entire flow of the wedding can be ruined. Prior to the wedding, Butch took the time to speak with us about our music styles, wedding format and what our ideal wedding day looked like. He lets you add songs of your choosing to an online portal so that you can ensure certain songs are definitely played/definitely NOT played. Our wedding was absolutely amazing and I cannot tell you how many people came up to us after complimenting our DJ choice. I’ve never seen a dance floor so packed. One of the best things about Butch is that he mixes up the playlist to appeal to all age groups. Our grandparents spent as much time on the dance floor as our 25 year old friends did! All I can say is look no further. DJ Butch Gray is the best around - he will ensure both you and your guests enjoy the wedding.

rtable on their big day. And we definitely did! From our outdoor ceremony to our indoor reception...Would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

ct soundtrack to key moments was a breeze. He also had a simple and user-friendly web portal for making song requests. Every step of the way was enjoyable thanks to his professionalism! During our big day, Butch was the epitome of a friendly, energetic, and conscientious MC. He kept things moving at just the right pace. The sound quality was top notch and glitch-free during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. For the ceremony and cocktail hour Butch worked with the musician we hired to ensure the sound was perfect. One last thing - we highly recommend having Butch record your ceremony and toasts. Your wedding day will be a blur and you will want those memories to keep forever!

nd professional. Excellent MC—pronounced everyone’s names perfectly. Excellent DJ— his Latin family and my uncultured family had the time of our lives! He did such a great job of mixing in all kinds and styles of music for multiple ages and cultures!

d working with him and highly recommend him.

de. We even pulled off a traditional Scottish dance with his help! An amazing voice for your wedding!

entire night. Every. Single. Second. In fact, the dance floor had so many people dancing and was so fun, that we elected to SKIP the cake cutting because we didn't want to take away from the party. We also had an early bus returning to the hotel, but no one took it. They were having too much fun. Butch arrived well before our event and was ready to go when guests arrived. He played exactly the types of music we were looking for at all points in the evening- cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. He also adjusted the volume of the music to ensure a great atmosphere for all guests. Butch didn't skip a single song we requested, and we requested tons of songs. He also recorded all the speeches (something we forgot to do on our own) and shared some great videos he took from behind the DJ booth. It is impossible to overstate the value of Butch. He was a game changer. He was attentive throughout the entire planning process and responded promptly to our calls and questions (something that was lacking in other wedding vendors) He's polite, professional and attentive to details. You only get one shot at a wedding. If you want a phenomenal DJ and dance floor, choose Butch. You won't regret it.

d the level of service is wonderful. Butch has a great website where couples can plan the itinerary for the reception and create their must play and do not play list. It was great to be able to login to Butch's site and plan all the music and speeches for our wedding. Butch was also great about doing video calls with us during the planning process as we live out of state. He was very helpful and responsive during planning. At the reception Butch was fantastic. The dance floor was PACKED the entire night. He respected our music preferences and did a great job using them to get everyone on the dance floor and keep the party going all night. He has a great announcing voice and all of his announcements were very professional and never an annoying interruption. He kept the music at a great volume for cocktail hour and dinner so that our guests could have conversations and during the dancing he turned it up but not too loud so people could still hear each other. He also did a great lighting package for us that took the reception space to the next level. Overall I would highly recommend hiring DJ Butch for your wedding!

we wanted a DJ rather than a band for a few reasons, but were anxious about finding a DJ who would fit with the elegant theme of our wedding, while also creating a fun and energetic environment. DJ Butch is the perfect combination of everything we were looking for. Leading up to the wedding, he was very easy to communicate with, and his system for selecting music ahead of time was straightforward. We happened to have quite a few songs on our “must play list,” but DJ Butch did a perfect job of recommending additional songs that went along well with our style, and, most importantly, read our crowd flawlessly on the day of the wedding. Our dance floor was full with happy guests from the moment dinner was over, and we have already had several friends ask for his information for their own weddings (who aren’t even yet engaged!). Additionally, he was very receptive and responsive to us all during the wedding, both to my husband and I in terms of volume or timing, and to guests in playing their song requests or answering questions. DJ Butch was also a wonderfully friendly and considerate vendor and advocate for us as bride and groom – he made us feel comfortable and excited for our wedding, and he also worked very well with our other wedding vendors. We had a string quartet for our ceremony, and DJ Butch was happy to help by providing sound equipment for the ceremony space, and the transition from live instruments to his music was smooth. We are so very pleased with DJ Butch, and personally recommend him without any hesitation!

that we could trust Butch to make sure our wedding night was a success. And he came through. People haven't stopped raving about how much fun the wedding was and we owe that to Butch. The dance floor was packed all night. I would recommend Butch to anyone that is looking for a professional and personable DJ that knows what it takes to make your wedding day one to remember! Thanks again Butch!

azing job he did for us the night of the wedding, he is a wonderful person. My husband and I met with him several times to go over timing for the day and the playlist for the day of. He was so helpful and friendly we started thinking of him as more of a friend than our DJ. He was the perfect choice for our big day!

about the little details. We also had him play music for our processional. He has an online portal where you can create a play list (and a do not play list) which was really liked. I had a special mix of a song for my father/daughter dance and he was very excited to help us make it happen. We were so impressed with Butch!

It was a no brainer for us to hire him as our wedding DJ and we were not disappointed! He was extremely thorough beforehand – meeting us at our venue to do a run through a few weeks prior and going over all the details carefully. His online database was also a great resource for us in selecting our playlist. The day of our wedding everything went smoothly – from the sound at our outdoor service to the special dances and reception. We had a full dance floor until the very last song!

e listens and he takes the time to learn about the couple so that he can make the reception the best for the bride and groom. Butch was attentive to our needs leading up to our reception, and even offered to help us with items not related to his role, without being over bearing. He could have easily been the life of the party, but knew how to truly influence the environment of the party by his song selection. His interactive software platform also made it very easy for us to compose our Do Not Play and Must Play lists. Another great thing about Butch in comparison to other DJ's that we really appreciated was his approach with regard to the total package; where other vendors tacked on extra charges for things like up-lighting, Butch just offered to include it at no additional cost. He took direction spectacularly. We didn't want an interactive DJ and he did a great job. People are still commenting on how great a job he did and we love the fact that we couldn't agree more. Thanks Butch!!!
