Butter & Vine are incredible! From the personalized touches at the tasting to catering to all of our guest's dietary restrictions, they really went about and beyond. Sue was an absolute joy to work with and the food was so delicious. We would absolutely work with them again!

We worked with Sue and Lewis from butter and vine. Immediately from our tasting experience, where they accommodated our families joining in the fun, and every step of the way, until our wedding, it was a pleasure to work with them. We had our wedding at Stan mansion on 10/28/23 and the service could not have been better. Every moment of the day we were attended to with great care. The food was hot and delicious to all of the guests. The service was better than I would ever have expected. We also tried a similar price point caterer that did not even compare to the high quality of BV service and catering. I cannot recommend enough to hire Butter and Vine for your wedding!

Butter & Vine was a pleasure to work with from start to finish for our 9/30/23 wedding. The food was excellent, with every attention to detail, served warm & fresh. The bread basket & signature butter were delicious. Their staff is efficient, professional and so friendly! And the milkshake shots for dessert were such a unique & fun option. We highly recommend Butter & Vine for your next event!

Rich & Sue from Butter and Vine were wonderful to work with. We are big foodies and from the start looking across other vendors, Butter & Vine had the most options and were flexible in hearing our vision for our big day. They incorporated our cultures into the food choices as I am Taiwanese and my wife is Mexican. Additionally, they were one of the only caterers that let you do a tasting before signing the contract and their food tasted amazing! When it came to the wedding day, Butter and Vine delivered on great food, great service, and great organization throughout the entire night. Shoutout to Jesse who kept us eating and drinking all night. We could not recommend Butter and Vine enough!

I actually don't have enough good things to say about Butter and Vine. PLEASE do yourself a favor and book Butter and Vine for your wedding. I've never heard so many compliments on wedding food in my entire life. Rich and Sue were excellent to work with, and the entire staff that took care of our wedding was top notch.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Sue and her team. Let's get this out of the way straightaway - The food was absolutely excellent. The toughest part of our experience with Butter and Vine was choosing between so many terrific hors d'oeuvres, salads, main courses, and desserts. We enjoyed everything we tried. Don't sleep on the vegetarian options! Butter and Vine were everything we could ask for in a partner for our wedding. They were able to accommodate every request we had without issues. There was always a good line of communication - questions answered timely and completely. Sue was also a good consultant for matters even beyond what we would have expected out of a caterer and helpful with other aspects of our wedding (helping with the scheduling and being a de facto liaison between all of our vendors at some points). We felt attended to at every point in our wedding day. Simply an outstanding job. Their tasting was a lot of fun as well. If you have any interest in Butter and Vine catering your event, I highly recommend giving them an opportunity to show off their craft.

Researching catering options (and the associated price tags) was one of the most stressful and surprising aspects of our wedding planning process, so when our venue manager suggested a smaller boutique catering shop in Chicago whose quotes didn't make our jaws drop, we were completely game. First, the complimentary tasting with Sue still sticks out as a highlight of our planning. We got to taste SO much food -- just the two of us -- and it was extremely helpful to us narrowing down our culinary vision. We went in without a lot of direction and were hoping for inspiration from our catering partner, and that's exactly what we found. Butter & Vine offered flavors and dishes that we had never seen at a wedding (think lobster BLT and chicken and waffle passed bites, gourmet street taco stations, and our favorite, mini-margaritas in tiny Patron bottles that our guests LOVED). There might have been some nervousness about how the tasting options would translate to at-scale food for our event, and Sue and her team delivered and then some. We still are getting compliments about our food. But the best part was how Sue made sure my husband and I were taken care of throughout the evening. If you are looking for fresh, exciting flavors, excellent service and professionalism for an amount that won't break your budget, look no further!

Sue and her staff are so amazing. Not only was our wedding dinner delicious, but she was so kind and willing to work with us and our specific requests. The tasting was personalized and very detailed, and everything on our wedding day came out just as wonderful as when we first tried it. We had to push our wedding date due to the pandemic and she was so understanding through such a tough decision. She gave us time to get our RSVPs figured out again and the table linens and silverware were stunning. We were so thankful we booked Butter + Vine and highly recommend them!

Sue and her team were A M A Z I N G. Their service was 5 stars and the food was I N C R E D I B L E!! The entire night, guest kept coming up to us saying how good the food was! We seriously could not be more satisfied!

We cannot say enough good things about Butter & Vine! They went above and beyond from our tasting to our wedding day. We worked with Sue but also had a chance to meet Ruben and Rich. The entire team was always available for us whenever we had questions. Sue met with us on multiple occasions in-person and over the phone. She is an expert on all things catering and weddings! Needless to say, service was great and the food was even better! Our guests are still telling us how much they loved the food at our wedding. Butter & Vine even created a signature cocktail for us that we named after our dog. They made sure our entire day was perfect. We highly recommend them!
