I live in DC, so I’ve been aware of the magic of Buttercream for years now. I originally hired another baker to make my cake and other goodies (I was originally doing a dessert bar) - the baker completely flakes and left me with a bad feeling..., so I turned to Buttercream. They were a DREAM to work with. I waffled a bit on if I wanted a dessert bar or cake, and they never told me how annoying I was (I’m sure it was VERY annoying). I ended up going with a small two tier cake and their sheet cake for guests. It was a great decision- guests RAVED about the cake (carrot cake with cream cheese buttercream). It also was gorgeous and to be honest, i was pleasantly surprised at how big my two tier cutting cake was! We didn’t eat it all at the wedding, and due to the messages we kept getting about the cake, had a party the weekend after the wedding so we could serve the rest of it!
Buttercream’s prices are very competitive. You 100% get your money’s worth from them! My only word of caution is that when we did our cake tasting, we did it to take home. They made us cupcakes and they were horribly dry. Luckily, I had had Buttercream several times and knew this was a fluke. So, if this is your experience with tasting, just know your cake will be perfect!
