If you're looking to add a touch of genuine Southern sweetness to your special event, look no further than Butterfield's Candy! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Dena and Harry to create unforgettable favors for our rehearsal dinner, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We had guests coming from all corners of the country and even internationally, and we wanted to give them something uniquely North Carolinian to remember the occasion. Butterfield's peach-flavored candies were a hit! It was the perfect way to share a slice of North Carolina charm with our loved ones. The service provided by Dena and Harry was exceptional. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us. Their passion for their craft and commitment to quality was evident in every interaction and in the delicious candies themselves. Our guests were delighted by the thoughtful, tasty treats, and many commented on how it was a sweet end to a beautiful evening. My guests absolutely adored these candies as favors. I loved having something that has been around for so long to share from my husband's home state of NC. A bonus was getting to support a wonderful small family business along the way! Delicious and Beautiful! 10/10 would recommend!

I am Dena Manning, I can tell you that the passion for this candy began at the time my mother first discovered Lemon Buds back in the early 90’s when we happened upon these delicious, uniquely flavorful candies and fell in love. We both thought they were a European brand and were so pleased to find out there were made right here in North Carolina. I come from a long line of adventurers and pioneers in my family. My father and grandfather were pioneers in the airline business during the 40’s and 60’s. My passion for business and pioneering has always been with me and now the passion for candy.
