Butterfly Bakery did a fantastic job on our wedding cake! Not only was it is beautiful to look at, it was also super yummy! They were able to accommodate us after we decided that we wanted a small wedding cake for photos two or three months before our actual event, and they also gave us time to think about what decorations we wanted even after we put in a deposit. We had a two tier cake where the bottom tier was 8” with chocolate cake and raspberry filling and the top tier was 6” with their triple chocolate cake. We didn’t even do a tasting, but they both were fantastic flavors! Since we live in Milwaukee, but we were having our wedding celebration in Omaha, we met virtually with Butterfly Bakery, which worked out great. We did not end up having them deliver the cake to Omaha since a friend was able to kindly pick it up for us, but the cake was nicely and securely packaged for transport and looked great when our caterers placed it out for us to cut. We highly recommend the Butterfly Bakery, especially if you are queer and/or want to support the LGBTQIA+ community! Also, the photos of our cake are from our wedding photographer Claire Katan!

Butterfly Bakery was amazing to work with. When we initially walked into their store to try some cupcakes, they were very kind, accommodating, and even gave us a few extra cupcakes to try so that we could make the best decision possible for what to have at our wedding. As for our wedding cake, we wanted something small, just for us, and they knocked it out of the park with our custom order. Our guests were raving about the cupcakes all night, some even sneaking some home to share with family members, and we both loved our cake. We would 100% recommend them for your wedding, birthday, or just needing a random sweet treat.

d! They were very helpful when picking out the size of our cake and were extremely open to all of my ideas for how the cake should look, even when I made a small change the week of our wedding. It turned out beautiful and it was absolutely delicious! We had so many compliments. Not a single piece was left at the end of the night. (Note - we had several sheet cakes for guests made by a family friend, so we didn't need a huge tiered cake to cut.)

ent - not only by the cake (which was, of course, delicious) but by the customer support, care and genuine excitement we received from the staff on-site throughout our time in the shop. We loved how transparent they were about pricing and also letting us know exactly how much cake we would need for our guest count. We met with Jenn and Katie during our appointment and knew we would be in great hands for our big day. Katie drew a sample of our vision during our appointment and provided iconic suggestions to bring the cake to life and take it to the next level. It felt so good to check this item off our list on the spot! We had the cake delivered and florals added the day of our ceremony. Seeing the cake for the first time (it ended up being the focal point of our space after flipping from the ceremony to the reception) is something I will never forget. I am beyond thankful for the exceptional experience we had and the product we received. We are exclusive 'Butterfly Bakery cake people' for any and all occasions now!
