nd the cost was incredibly competitive. When I received my bouquet the day-of it was more beautiful than I imagined. There were fall colors, big orange leaves, red roses, berries and hints of blue. Absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend Butterfly Petals, you cannot go wrong!

And the rest of my arrangements were much simpler than I expected, which made me question the value of what I'd paid for. If you are not so particular about color and design, your dollar will go much farther with Butterfly Petals than some other Valley wedding florists.

From the bright sunflower saguaro ribs framing our ceremony, to the happy yellow flower crowns me and my bridal party wore, to the fun vases of cacti and pots full of succulents, every detail was perfect. When we decided we wanted sunflowers floating in the pool along with LED lights that was quickly added to our contract and made for some amazing wedding photos. We even gave Butterfly Petals our own pots and they planted succulents in them. We used them as centerpieces but now friends and family get to enjoy them for years to come. If you're looking for a creative team who is open to trying new and exciting ideas and is great at listening and making your dreams a reality then Butterfly Petals is for you.

iple times. Nonetheless, I wasn't incredibly picky, and I trusted Amanda's vision and talent. I had been stalking Butterfly Petals for months, after all! I used Butterfly Petals for my bridal bouquet, three bridesmaids bouquets, two corsages for the mothers, five boutineers for the dads and groomsmen, and one groom's boutineer. I had a talented friend do our centerpieces. I sent Butterfly Petals my Pinterest board, as well as let her know our budget, venue, colors, and overall feel. I love succulents, and I told her I wanted that to be the main focus. Amanda drew up a estimate, which included all of the overall cost and the flowers she would use. She stuck to the budget and was happy to work within it. I researched the suggested flowers, and was not keen on the look of at least one. Amanda was great with suggesting alternatives that would still work well. I also asked about using cotton, and she sent me photos of similar bouquets with cotton. I absolutely loved it, so even though it cost a tiny bit more, I asked for that to be included as well. After that I made the deposit and simply trusted it would look good the day of the wedding. And boy, did it! I was thrilled with the finished products. Everything was even better than I expected, honestly. Butterfly Petals even included a small toss bouquet, which I had forgotten to request in the first place. Overall, I would definitely use Butterfly Petals if I had to do over. Communication was always smooth and with quick responses. And of course, the finished product is really beautiful.

She took the care to understand my vision for the day, and really worked with us to get what we wanted within our (not very large) budget. She even accommodated some last minute changes I had. My wedding flowers consisted of: 1 bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 corsages for mothers/grandmothers, 10 boutonnieres for all the men, an isle FULL of Ombre petals and lantern accents awesome saguaro ribs with floral accents 4 cocktail tables, a sign in table, 6 guest tables, and a large harvest style head table. PROTIP: The Saguaro Ribs are super AWESOME!

During the wedding I kept getting compliment after compliment on my bouquet about how original it was. I loved that she worked at showing her concepts through Pinterest as it helped me to imagine what they could look like. Also I had a very limited budget and I told Amanda what it was and she worked with it to give me everything I could of dreamed of. She has a great creative mind and was very responsive to emails. She def. made my wedding!

I began reading review after review and many of them suggested that if you want succulents, Butterfly Petals is your answer. At first I was reluctant to call Amanda. I was afraid she would be way out of my price range. Thankfully she worked with us and was able to provide us with everything I dreamed of without going over our budget. She has a lot of great tips and advice and will work with you to create what you want. I was blown away with everything she made for us. It was all absolutely beautiful. Amanda was a pleasure to work with as well. We had a scheduling issue with the photographer when it came to the bride and groom photo session we took, that Amanda was making a little mock bouquet for and even during the scheduling crisis she remained flexible and helpful. Also, my husband forgot to pick up the bouquet for the bride and groom session and she was willing to take it home with her and have my mother in law pick it up from her house so we would have it for at least the end of the session. I highly recommend Butterfly Petals, especially if you want succulents or a rustic touch to your wedding. Amanda is amazing, you will not be disappointed!

The only slight complaint I may have is my bridesmaids bouquets were almost dead before the reception (but they were hydrangea bouquets and that's to be expected for the most part). Either way I was very happy with my services and would def use them again.

I LOVE that she loves to work with succulents- since most of my wedding guests were from out of town, having the succulents made that special gorgeous desert welcome for the out of towners and they were all very impressed! Amanda also worked with me as I was designing my own centerpieces and had specific ideas about what I wanted but didn't know how to make it work. She made suggestions that I loved- so the beginning part was super easy and great. She is really becoming popular and successful and opening her own storefront and so my wedding was probably during part of her craziest time! So a few things did fall through the cracks...unintentionally, but it still happened. When it came to my big day, she arrived early with all of the flowers and was very meticulous about putting them into place in the centerpieces and vases- and let me tell you- it looked AMAZING! But she was so focused on that, there was less focus on the ceremony. It was a super hot day, so she didn't want to put the flower petals on the aisle until the last minute...but then she left the venue and didn't put them out! So the lady from the venue sprinkled a few, but the guests were already seated for the ceremony so that was embarrassing. And the Boutonnieres and bouquets were left in the ballroom and so when it came time for the ceremony there was a huge rush about that which was stressful. I will say, when I called her to tell her about those two frustrations- she was very apologetic and did offer me some money back. But I wasn't calling because of money- I just wanted to bring it to her attention. I will certainly give her the benefit of the doubt there since I know she is super swamped. And for anyone considering her, she has hired some help I believe, so that should help with the growing pains. The flowers were beautiful though, and I planted the succulents in a garden at my house afterwards which is really awesome.

Amanda also made book page and map page flowers to scatter on the tables. My bouquet featured book page flowers intermixed with garden roses and other soft peach-colored flowers. Matt's boutonniere featured a map page flower. My flowers were my favorite part of my wedding thanks to Amanda's creativity and vision.

Our bouquets held up wonderfully in what turned out to be the hottest day of 2012 so far! The colors she used and different textured flowers made for eye catching bouquets, they were all beautiful! Mandi, the owner, not only thought of beautiful ways to use vintage glassware with a combination of desert and bright florals, she also found ways to save money by using tissue paper flowers in our bridemaids bouquets and at our cocktail hour combined with flowers in vintage mexican cans.
