Our wedding cake was delicious! And it was beautiful! Our cake was completely customized to what we wanted. Everything we tasted was delicious! Our two favorites were the chocolate with salted caramel and the red velvet. We were able to take the cream cheese frosting from the red velvet and put it on the chocolate cake. Our guests were raving about how great the cake was! It looked great too!

My mother-in-law ordered a cake for our rehearsal dinner which was held at Mission Oak Grille in Newburyport. The cake was so beautiful and delicious! Buttermilk Baking Company was so easy to work with and the end result was perfect--thank you!

Use this bakery for your wedding!! You will not be disappointed! We had a huge wooden cake + cupcake tier and Ashley filled it with 400 mini sparkling cupcakes, half chocolate half golden, all topped with delicious buttercream frosting and gorgeous golden sweet decoration. The very top of the stand housed a cake with buttercream frosting succulents on top and cream cheese frosting inside the layers. I have never been to a wedding where one of the major topics was how delicious the cake was until our very own. Ashley and her team are incredibly accommodating, talented, worked within our budget, and pulled off my exact vision even better than i dreamed. Highly recommend this bakery for all of your sweet treats - even before and after your wedding day

My husband and I aren't cake people, so when it came time to think of wedding desserts for our fall farm wedding....PIE! was the obvious answer. Born and raised in Newbury....Buttermilk is often a frequent stop on weekend mornings for breakfast, so I couldn't think of any other bakery that I would want making our desserts. Boy, did they come through. Not only did they make delicious apple, pumpkin, and pecan pies, but ginger molasses cookies as well. And they personalized each pie with our names and dates. It was such a perfect added touch, that made the wedding so special. Now as for the taste....I got so many of my guests saying it was the best pie they had ever had, and people were trying to take cookies home with them!! Everything was absolutely delicious and I would recommend them to anyone in the New England area! Thank you so much!

Buttermilk Baking Company did a fantastic job on the cupcakes for my wedding. They were absolutely stunning and so so delicious. Tons of our guests commented on how great they were! Ashley was super easy to work with. Very professional and she completely understood my vision. She accommodated some of our special requests (making a whole new type of cupcake and using special trays that we had). I would highly recommend using BBC for your New England wedding!

I was sponsoring a wedding reception for one of my employees, who had married at City Hall. Myself and fellow employees decided to create a small reception for the bride and groom. I went to speak with Ashley several days before the wedding and asked her to create a wedding cake(every bride needs a party and a cake). I had no specific cake in mind and I'm not current as far as wedding taste(being 60 years old). Ashley and her team created the most beautiful and elegant cake. It was 3 tiers and stark white with lovely fresh flowers. The cake was called a hummingbird cake and was delicous. Being old fashioned I asked for a toy bride and groom on top of the cake. I also asked for the ability to save the top tier for the 1st year anniversary. Owing a restaurant myself I know how difficult it is to create a last minute order, especially when the person ordering has no idea what she really wants or needs. The cake was the hit of the party and the bride and groom loved it. I highly recommend Buttermilk for their service and especially the quality of their products. I have ordered many cakes from Buttermilk and they have all been tasty and elegant.

Ashley was incredibly easy to work with and made our wedding cupcakes and tier more delicious that we could have imagined! She is so talented and blended the various flavors we were looking for into five beautiful cupcakes that were a show stopper at our wedding. I highly recommend her to anyone for any sweet treat they are looking for.

Ashley, owner of Buttermilk Baking, was phenomenal to work with. I had the pleasure of tasting a bunch of her pies when she brought samples over to her friends business (where I happened to be getting my hair cut). They were absolutely delicious!!!! So good in fact, that my fiancé and I decided to cancel our cake order and do pies at our wedding. We had originally wanted pies, but couldn't find a good enough baking company to do it. The presentation and taste were out of this world. Everyone loved them! We did two pies, a bride and a groom 'pick.' I chose apple and my husband chose bourbon pecan. If you're doing pies, go with Buttermilk--they are fantastic.
