Matt delivered an incredible EDM DJ set! We love EDM and thought it would be fun to do an EDM wedding instead of more traditional wedding music. We had the best night of our lives ...
on the dance floor and our friends and guests had so much fun - no one stopped dancing all night! Got tons of compliments on the music and the co2 gun add on. Matt was also great at communication throughout the process and made sure that all of our song choices were played at the right times while also mixing in his own song choices (which were all great). He helped make our wedding perfect!
Matt did an absolutely PHENOMENAL job at DJing our wedding last weekend. As a backstory, my now (husband) and I met at EDC Orlando and have a passion to go to EDM music festivals t...
hroughout the year. We knew planning our wedding that we would need a DJ who catered to our music interests and didn't just play the standard/typical wedding DJ music because that is not the type of music my partner and I like. Our whole wedding was themed around the music festivals that we've attended, and we put the most time/effort into curating an amazing playlist, precessional music, and first dance. My partner and I told ourselves that the most important part of our wedding is that it's a wonderful party, and that we love the music the most.
Matt did incredible with dealing with our many specific requests, from sending specific files via sound cloud for our entrances and also remixes that my partner created. Also, my partner is a DJ himself and thought that Matt did absolutely amazing with curating with our playlist. Even though we knew not all our guests were going to be fully into the EDM music, everyone at one point was on the dance floor, which was absolutely amazing. We also invested in the CO2 cannons, and I'll never forget one of my bridesmaids getting sprayed with it, which will be an amazing image I'll never forget.
Thank you Matt for giving us such an incredible time and professionalism! 10000/10 would recommend him!
Trust him. Matt delivered an awesome performance at our wedding reception. Many of our friends commented on what a great DJ he was. My wife and I are lifelong enthusiasts of electr...
onic music, and Matt worked with us on combining some of our favorite songs with his own surprise recommendations, with genres ranging from basic wedding hits to house, trance, techno, and hardstyle. Five hours of fun, energy, and emotion on the best night of our lives! Thank you, Matt!
Matt was great! Our music for the ceremony and reception sounded great and we had people on the dance floor all night. We couldn't have been happier!
It’s a mystery that Matt is a wedding DJ. He could genuinely be playing shows in Ibiza. (If you aren’t familiar with what that means, he’s among the best.)
My two strengths in li...
fe are loving music and being a comprehensive planner, which is why my wife put me in charge of the music for our wedding. As an audiophile and music production hobbyist, I would not settle for anything other than the best. I was even in contact with another DJ group before Matt, but I fired them after hearing samples from their sets. Then I found Matt.
Matt was not only immediately perceptive of my vision for our event, but he was also highly professional and consultative. He had ideas and brought passion and excitement.
Matt was one of the MAIN reasons why our wedding was incredible. We had many guests compliment him on how incredible of a job he did.
Last note with a true story: at the end of the night, at 11:45, all of our guests, including some older ones, were still on the dance floor. When we HAD to end the night, our guests STARTED CHANTING, “ONE MORE SONG!” I have been to dozens of weddings, and that has NEVER happened. Matt just smiled and threw another fantastic encore song, and we ended the night with the highest of highs.
Long review short: hire Matt immediately. He’s 1000% worth it and will help make your wedding the perfect event you want. We cannot thank Matt enough and he deserves all the praise!
If you value your event, then you need to book Ultra Mix Events. No corny, over salesy or tacky experience. These guys are totally underrated.
I don’t think we could’ve picked a better DJ! Matt is very professional and definitely hands on during the entire event.
He was very thorough when going over details prior to the ...
event and whatever issues popped up at the reception he stepped in and handled it to make sure we were taken care of.
He worked with all our vendors to make sure everything was on time and on point. He can do it all! The music selection was amazing, and we were literally on the dance floor all night long.
Prior to our BIG day we did a finals consultation with Matt and went over all the details of exactly what we were looking for. He made it happen. All I can say is wow!! From the phone calls, organizing and planning until the day of the event it was amazing to know we could relax and enjoy our day. We also booked some extras that just put the event over the top. Cold Sparklers and low-lying fog were absolutely the coolest thing ever. It looked like we were dancing on a cloud during our first dance. The sparklers were used during our grand entrance, and it just made a great day even better.
We highly recommend Matt and his company for any event. You won't be disappointed.
Thank You Ultra Mix for everything you did for us.
Our playlist had a bit of everything, but they made it work flawlessly. Smooth transitions kept the floor slammed.
LEGIT as they come. We were picky, wanted a LEGIT DJ experience, nothing corny. And they 1000000000000000000% delivered.
When searching for a DJ, it felt like we were just another number to most companies out there. With Ultra Mix, he actually made it feel like our Wedding was special. Totally worth ...

Ultra Mix did an amazing job with our event. Great lighting, special effects, and music. Matt made it unique, memorable, and fun - a night we’ll never forget!
Our DJ Matt truly knows how to read a crowd and keep the party going. Our wedding reception was a blast, and he played all the hits that had everyone dancing and singing along. He ...
was also fantastic at incorporating our special requests and personalizing the music to reflect our unique style. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we wouldn't hesitate to hire Matt again for future events. Thank you for making our wedding day unforgettable!

We loved working with Ultra Mix for our Wedding. Other weddings we've been to, the DJ didn't seem to really read the crowd. They totally did. And the result was awesome! They also ...

ed a great mix of old and new songs that had everyone dancing and singing along. They were able to read the crowd and adjust the music accordingly, which ensured that everyone had a great time. In addition to their musical skills, the DJ was also a great MC. They kept the reception moving smoothly, making sure that all of the special moments, such as the first dance and speeches, were timed perfectly. They also had a great personality and were able to engage with the guests, making everyone feel welcome and included. Overall, I highly recommend this wedding DJ to anyone looking for a talented and professional DJ who will make sure that everyone has an amazing time. They truly helped make the wedding a night to remember!
Ultra Mix was great to work with. We used multiple services and they were on top of everything! The lighting and sparks looked fantastic.

sary to ensure that speeches and toasts were running on time and that each of the participants were communicated with. We were not stressed or concerned about anything all night, and he was very professional. I feel like he was a DJ and coordinator in 1, so the price was well worth it. We would highly recommend them!

Annihilated the dance floor and the whole night in general. It isn't just the great music but it is the vibe they create with lighting and sparks!
The Sparks and DJ set were great! Lit up the room just like we wanted.
You can tell they are definitely about quality over quantity. Attention to details of our event were great.

ng songs, awesome 90's hits, and a few fun metal songs (at our request). All of our guests have been telling us how much fun it was. The dance floor was hopping all night!
Prior to the wedding, we were working with Matt, and he was very quick to answer emails to coordinate everything. We also got a Photo Booth from Ultra Mix, which was a ton of fun. Overall, we're very glad we went with Ultra Mix Events for our wedding!
Summery (full story below):
DJ was swapped out last minute, and was not professional
Played the wrong FIRST dance song, and many others that were carefully planned.
Sound system ...
was not tested prior to my group arriving, and there were sound issues that caused crackling during any song with base.
HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED
We hired Ultra Mix Events for our wedding last June (2019). I waited to write this review to ensure I thought through my feedback thoroughly, and a year later it is still on my mind.
When I think of our wedding day I think about how perfect it was EXCEPT for our DJ experience. We hired Matt, based on his strong reviews and were very excited to have him DJ our wedding. We prepared a very thoughtful list of songs and the timeline.
The week before our wedding, Matt informed us he had another commitment and was going to switch us to a different DJ. I was not thrilled, but understood things happen. I asked Matt to give us confidence he was still providing a great DJ. He said this guy was great.
In short, the DJ showed up to our prep meeting unprepared and on the day of my wedding the system had not been tested (resulting in the sound being really bad and crackling during any base), he played the wrong song on multiple occasions including OUR FIRST DANCE! He was not engaging with our group and did not present himself as a true professional.
We could not be more disappointed in Matt's decision to swap us out so close to the wedding and not provide a proven resource as a replacement. I hope for Matt this was a rare happening and not reflective of the true value he brings to the industry. While we cannot go back in time and fix the disaster that was our DJ experience, Matt can learn from this to keep his commitments and provide the level of service his customers expect and are paying a premium for....on one of the most special days in their life.
Although I emailed and communicated with Matt for booking and payment in the end we were paired up with Chase for our wedding. He was great!I listed my music choice very last minute...
and did not have a chance to talk to him more in depth as everything was so rushed the couple of days before our wedding day but that did not stop him from giving us exactly what we wanted for both our ceremony and reception.Absolutely everyone was dancing at some point or another. It was great!Highly recommend Ultra mix events!
We used Matt for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We could not have asked for a better DJ!! He followed all of our requests exactly as we asked. He knew how to keep the ...
party going on the dance floor, and when to play quieter music for the dinner hour. He made the wedding a really fun party!! Even our wedding planners were amazed at how good of a DJ he was and said he did a great job of picking music and not being cheesy or overpowering. He was better than what we could have imagined and I would HIGHLY recommend!
We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. We received many compliments on how he played the perfect music to keep the entire crowd dancing, guests both young and old...
. The uplighting he provided for our venue was the perfect addition to the setting. Matt was easy to worth with through out the planning process and always accommodated our schedules. I highly recommend Matt for any event you are hosting!
Matt is a master of his craft. He is eloquent, professional, knowledgeable and completely devoted to his career. Not only did Matt go out of his way to meet with us multiple times ...
to review our timeline, music selections, venue and set up, he took the time to make sure we had a vision of the event. Then he exceeded our imaginations. The lighting allowed for candid video and photos in the dance room. The monogram personalized the dance floor and added a flavor of our character. Matt kept our day moving along in a timely manner and even timed our entrance down to a specific second in our entrance song. He nailed our requested announcements – some were long-winded, some were humorous and witty, and some were sharp to keep the party moving along. He reviewed our playlist(s) and made suggestions, blended and mixed different parts, and adjusted throughout the day to extend songs which were crowd pleasers and cut short any songs that weren’t. Matt’s versatility should keep him entertaining only the finest events for years to come. We highly recommend Matt to anyone looking for a kick-ass, high-end DJ who’ll class up your event. We also are happy to provide a letter of recommendation to any venue looking to add Matt to their preferred vendor list.
Matt the owner of ultra mix events is hands down the best DJ you could ask for! I actually found him through an add on Facebook! I was hesitant at first as I had not known anyone w...
ho had used him before. However I reached out to him & quickly knew that he was perfect for our wedding after messaging him about ideas!
I was not only looking for a DJ but for someone who could also help transform our venue space to represent our ideal vision! Matt along with one of his partners Mike did just that! They did everything I asked for plus more! They put up white pipe & drapes along with twinkle lights & pink up lights around the entire room to give it a soft & romantic feel for the ceremony space! It was BEAUTIFUL!!! Just what I had visioned & explained to them I wanted!
They also did the uplighting for our reception space & Matts DJ set up was so nice!! They ALSO provided a photo booth which included fun props & a photo album that Mike helped put together with the 2nd copy of each photo that was taken!!
Matt went above & beyond as our DJ for the night! He played every one of our requested songs! He was so organized & on top of everything from ceremony to our entrance announcements , first dances & games!! And to top it off at the end of the night when we were having a blast on the dance floor he kept going. Past our allotted time we had him for! No complaints!!
I cannot express how happy we are that we found & had Matt for our big day! Everything was just perfect & we owe a big part of that to both Matt & Mike!!! What a great team!! If your looking for a DJ to do it all.. Ultra Mix Events is it!!!!

. Everyone has told us they had a blast and that our wedding was one of the best they've been to. We were both very impressed with how seamlessly Matt transitioned from song to song, and his overall setup was very professional. All in all, we wouldn't change a thing about our DJ and we would certainly book Matt again in a heartbeat!
Great music selection, very professional, and on point with event timing! We loved having Ultra Mix Events work our wedding!
I honestly have nothing bad to say about Matt. He is a perfectionist and wants your day to be as amazing and awesome as you do! He will keep the party going, he will listen to you ...
