We got our wedding cake through Buzz Bakeshop, and we are so glad we did! The Buzz team was very communicative throughout the process and responsive to our questions. We appreciate...
that they let us choose complementary cupcakes with flavors of our choosing to test different wedding cake options. The cake itself was exactly as we had in mind, and it was delicious! We would highly recommend Buzz Bakery.
Unfortunately, we had a pretty mediocre experience with this vendor. We selected Buzz after sampling from 4-5 different cake vendors based on liking the cake the most and also like...
that it is a local vendor in the neighborhood we used to live in. The initial experience in booking was positive and the samples were great. Couple issues we experienced after that point - our hotel venue required COIs/insurance for each of our vendors, and when we emailed Buzz asking for their COI, we never received a response, nor did the wedding coordinator at our hotel. A month before the wedding, our wedding planner was able to get in touch with someone and learned that they were not able to provide a COI - so before booking this vendor, I highly recommend checking if this is something your venue requires and going elsewhere if this is still not something they can provide. We are really lucky that the coordinator at our venue didn't want to leave us hanging weeks before the wedding after we had already paid for the cake and let us move forward without the COI. The cake was delivered on time, but the decoration and taste both could have been better. Attaching the inspo photo I sent and the outcome (the one with the dog & cake topper) - not terrible, but not amazing mountains. The quality of the cake was good, but not as good as I remember from our tasting.

Delicious!! We were able to get a vegan option for our guests with dietary restrictions and it was very tasty.
We couldn't have asked for better cakes! Everyone we spoke with was so polite and helpful.
Thank you so much!
When we first tasted the samples for Buzz’s cakes, we knew we had to have them at our reception. In fact, we were unable to pick a favorite and served two separate flavor combinati...
ons (lemon cake with blackberry frosting, vanilla cake with caramel frosting). The team at Buzz kept excellent communication throughout the process and even incorporated our color palette into their decoration. When asked if we wanted to save the top of our cake, we said we didn’t need to because we will be going back to Buzz a lot sooner than our first anniversary.
We LOVED our wedding cake from Buzz Bakery. The tasting process was super simple - we picked up cupcakes and did our tasting at home. We decided on a lemon cake with vanilla butter...
cream. The bakery's cake decorations are simple, but they worked with me to determine the design I wanted. The cake itself was so delicious and we had many compliments from our guests. We also ordered a half dozen gluten free cupcakes and our GF guests loved them. I only wish some cake was left over at the end of the night!
Buzz is my go-to shop for coffee, so we had to use them for our wedding cake! We got a custom made smash cake from them as the bridal cake for our wedding. The cake turned out beau...
tifully and was exactly what we had envisioned.
Buzz was our bakery for our recent wedding. We decided to get a variety of cupcakes and have a candy bar. The ordering process was easy and efficient. The items were delivered to o...
ur venue on the morning of our wedding. The set-up was beautiful. The cupcakes received rave reviews, and I have heard from several guests that they have since visited the bakery to purchase cupcakes as well. I plan to use Buzz for other events in the future.
Buzz did the best job with our wedding cake! We had a tiered lemon cake with vanilla frosting and it was DELICIOUS. Katherine and her team were really easy to work with and created...
a beautiful cake for us based on photos I'd found of other cakes I'd liked. Ordering, tasting, and delivery was completely seamless and I didn't have to worry about anything. We also were able to add gluten-free options to cater to some of our wedding guests. We reached out to Buzz because we'd driven past their Slaters Lane location dozens of times and we liked the idea of supporting a small local shop. We ended up with a delicious cake, excellent service, and we will certainly be looking to them for baked goods in the future. Thanks Buzz for being such a special part of our big day!
We got a couple small fancy cakes from Buzz Bakery and did our big sheet cake thing from Costco. It was a very affordable and beautiful way to make a large wedding work cake-wise!...
Courtney was extremely helpful and the cakes were amazing.
We love Buzz, we visit every weekend for coffee and treats and jumped at the idea of using their cakes for our small, casual summer wedding. They were great! Absolutely delicious c...
akes, we had the nutella filling and highly recommend. I knocked one star off service because my planner had a little trouble picking up the cakes (they were ready just a miss-communication)and the color of the cakes weren't exactly what we had thought, but that my have been a miss-communication as well. I highly recommend them, just be sure you call a few times to confirm your pick up time and be very explicit about colors. Then, enjoy!
Our reception was held at the Columbia firehouse. Buzz bakery is their preferred vendor for cakes. Cake is very important to my family of cake lovers. We decided to do a tasting to...
be sure we wanted to use them. Everything was yummy! We order a simple buttercream covered cake and we're not disappointed. It was delicious!!! Everyone loved it. Our family all wanted the leftovers lol. Buzz was easy to work with and delivered what we wanted- a simple, pretty, and super yummy cake. Highly recommended :)
Our cake was beautiful, it tasted like heaven on a plate. Buzz Bakery was super easy to work with and the price was unbeatable! We had more cake than we knew what to do with and ...
our guests got generous portions.
I've gotten a few things from Buzz and love everything! Our tasting was great and the choice was totally unexpected! My FH and I are chocoholics, so for our choice to be somethin...
g other than chocolate, meant it had to be outstanding! The price was right too! Our wedding is going to be 47-52 people and our cake is costing us under $400! And because we are using a sister restaurant to our ceremony/reception location we don't have to worry about all the extra fees. Dawn was great to work with and even though the original design is out the window, the new design will be beautiful! I'll update after the wedding!
