that it is a local vendor in the neighborhood we used to live in. The initial experience in booking was positive and the samples were great. Couple issues we experienced after that point - our hotel venue required COIs/insurance for each of our vendors, and when we emailed Buzz asking for their COI, we never received a response, nor did the wedding coordinator at our hotel. A month before the wedding, our wedding planner was able to get in touch with someone and learned that they were not able to provide a COI - so before booking this vendor, I highly recommend checking if this is something your venue requires and going elsewhere if this is still not something they can provide. We are really lucky that the coordinator at our venue didn't want to leave us hanging weeks before the wedding after we had already paid for the cake and let us move forward without the COI. The cake was delivered on time, but the decoration and taste both could have been better. Attaching the inspo photo I sent and the outcome (the one with the dog & cake topper) - not terrible, but not amazing mountains. The quality of the cake was good, but not as good as I remember from our tasting.

The team at Buzz kept excellent communication throughout the process and even incorporated our color palette into their decoration. When asked if we wanted to save the top of our cake, we said we didn’t need to because we will be going back to Buzz a lot sooner than our first anniversary.

a beautiful cake for us based on photos I'd found of other cakes I'd liked. Ordering, tasting, and delivery was completely seamless and I didn't have to worry about anything. We also were able to add gluten-free options to cater to some of our wedding guests. We reached out to Buzz because we'd driven past their Slaters Lane location dozens of times and we liked the idea of supporting a small local shop. I knocked one star off service because my planner had a little trouble picking up the cakes (they were ready just a miss-communication)and the color of the cakes weren't exactly what we had thought, but that my have been a miss-communication as well. I highly recommend them, just be sure you call a few times to confirm your pick up time and be very explicit about colors. Then, enjoy!

And because we are using a sister restaurant to our ceremony/reception location we don't have to worry about all the extra fees.
