Buzzardball DJ Entertainment

r 11th wedding, we wanted a cozy fall vibe with a little spooky Halloween flair, and he totally nailed it. The music flowed perfectly all night, and he kept everyone on the dance floor. He blended our favorite songs with others that matched the mood of the evening so well. The whole night felt seamless and so much fun. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the music was! We’d 100% recommend Steve to anyone looking for a DJ who’s not only professional but also knows how to read the crowd and capture the exact vibe you’re going for.

ed so many of my wedding-nerves.  From the get-go, we got on a Zoom call to go over expectations and what the vibes we wanted. He sent over all his playlists for us to look through and gave us the full spectrum of control, whether we wanted to pick every song that was played, a couple of songs and some fillers from him, or just have him lead the way. I compiled some playlists and told him these were the vibes I was going for and he threw in some amazing filler songs that matched the vibes perfectly.  We hopped on another Zoom call about a month out from the wedding to finalize all the details from ceremony songs, asking him to MC some games and table dismissal for dinner, and anything else to expect.  The wedding performance overall was spectacular, Steve kept the crowd going all night. I forgot to have someone put out the cake for cake cutting and when it was time to do that, he noticed the cake wasn’t out yet so he just smoothed right into some music until we got the cake out. I was so relieved of how observant and professional he was and he didn’t highlight any of my mistakes or bring attention to anything that was forgotten or missing.  I would recommend him 100x again and again and I am so thankful he was referred my way!

nding me another DJ for my event. Here is the message he sent: “Congratulations on your wedding! If only I could be in multiple places. Sadly I am booked with a wedding on October 4th. It’s a popular month! While I am not available, would you like me to check with my group of DJ’s to see if they are available? I want to help you secure a great DJ!” I was bowled over by this message and his kindness! Who takes the time to send such a message in this day and age?! While I was able to find a wonderful DJ for my event, I had to write a review for this man. Anyone who would take the time to help someone find another vendor for their event is a good person in my book. It speaks volumes to him as a person.

for our wedding. He handled everything flawlessly. All of my songs and times I wanted everything played worked out great. He hyped up the crowed and kept our party going. He’s really great at reading the room and pivoting if people aren’t feeling certain things. A Dj can’t seriously make or break your wedding in my opinion and I had full confidence in Steve that he would do great. He really made it a point to get content for us too and greet us through the night when there was time. If you’re looking for a Dj for any event or a wedding specifically stop here and book Steve Buzzard!! Thanks so much for everything.

sary equipment, was completely self-sufficient, and made the entire process incredibly easy for us. On the day of the wedding, he brought the perfect energy. He was fun, upbeat, and totally in tune with the vibe we wanted. The music flowed flawlessly from the ceremony through the reception, and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. If you’re looking for someone who’s reliable, talented, and a total pro, Steve is it!

ht went smooth thanks to Steve. He worked with us to provide services within our budget and meet the needs of our venue (my parent's backyard). He had incredible energy! I loved that he played every song on our must-play list and many of the songs from our wedding playlist while incorporating the requests of our guests. Thank you Steve for being an incredible highlight of our wedding day! Groom: Steve was nothing short of amazing for our wedding. Blending two cultures and keeping the vibes were always kept at an all-time high. Not only was Steve very warm and welcoming whether it be our initial meeting to feeling like a longtime friend on our wedding day. He provided us with great music, MC'ing, and even went above and beyond with some personal moments captured that he surprised us with! Highly recommend Steve for services for any occasion requiring great music and crowd work. -The Murtis

the big wedding day. He truly listened to what we wanted and delivered. In addition, he helped to keep the flow of the wedding by announcing to guests what was coming next and where to go. He brought a fun atmosphere with his DJ booth that had lights, and he kept the party going with the beats. He even took a few pictures and filmed some of us throughout the night, so we have some great videos to look back on since he was in the best seat to view the events (like the first dance and father/daughter dance). Steve is a very positive person as well and we enjoyed having him as a vendor at our wedding! Thank you, Steve!

eally helped to make sure everything ran smoothly for us! Not a single complaint! Very engaged with the crowd and really helped to keep energy high all night long!! We will be recommending him to EVERYONE! Thank you so much Steve for an amazing night!

ing was perfectly planned. He kept the entire wedding flowing smoothly, and we had a wonderful time. Really took the stress off my shoulders. Not to mention he has a good sense of humor 😂. My guests were having a blast all night.

as time to book our wedding DJ, it was a no-brainer to ask Steve if he’d do the honors. Andrew (groom) and I had a vision - we wanted a relaxed atmosphere and a tribute to our favorite classic rock songs and artists, with a gradual lead up to dancing! Steve absolutely delivered! Every song was perfectly timed! We are so grateful to Steve for creating a mix of tunes that perfectly captured our love!

re signing up for. I was never nervous about our music, announcements, sound, etc. He was amazing from our first call to the end of our reception and he made our wedding the exact kind of celebration we were dreaming of. We are so thankful for Steve and could not recommend him more!

s all the way. He scheduled multiple meetings to speak with us during the planning process and was extremely helpful when we asked him for vendor recommendations. On wedding night he was absolutely phenomenal. He kept the vibes high throughout the cocktail hour and dinner and played so many favorite songs for people to enjoy on the dance floor! The morning after our wedding he even shared a photo/video gallery for my wife and I to relive the night before. Steve Buzzard is the perfect person to hire for any Northern California wedding!

edible. Steve not only brings amazing energy but he is very responsive and detail-oriented. He makes you feel assured going into whatever event you are planning that everything will go smoothly and everyone will have a great time. You will not regret hiring him!

add to it. He was super professional and worked really well with our other vendors. We loved his personalized photos, selfies, and recap of the day, too. Highly recommend getting Steve for your big day!!

ed out! We had to go to a plan b (well, really a plan c lol) for the ceremony and it all turned out great. He was so professional, so responsive. Worked with us on our playlists and played all of our songs at the right time for the ceremony and the reception was perfect as well. He was so kind and thoughtful and took photos and videos that he shared with us too! AMAZING!

o make our special day even more memorable! From the very beginning, he demonstrated excellent communication skills and showed a genuine interest in understanding our musical preferences and vision for the reception. His attention to detail was evident as he seamlessly integrated our requested songs and created an incredible playlist that catered to all of our guests' tastes. Not only did he exceed our expectations with his DJ skills, but he also went above and beyond in terms of professionalism and reliability. He arrived early to set up his equipment, ensuring everything was in perfect working order well in advance. His attention to detail and dedication to providing a flawless experience for us and our guests were truly commendable. His positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and ability to adapt to any situation were truly appreciated. We are especially grateful for the videos and photos he took and sent to us from our day. We have loved reliving our day while looking at and watching them. We cannot recommend him highly enough as a wedding DJ. Thank you once again, Steve, for making our wedding day so special!

etc. His communication was professional, he ensured he understood the timeline/song requests, how to pronounce our name, found us during the wedding to check in, and he even texted when he was on his way to the venue. To top it off he took a few pictures and even shared those before our professional photos arrive. We highly recommend Steve to DJ your wedding!

he is available, competitive pricing with unmatched entertainment!

. He allowed our personalities to shine through the music and helped keep the evening running smoothly and sounding good! We got married on Friday the 13th and had our officiant walk down the aisle in a Jason hockey mask and Steve played Friday the 13th music to set the spooky vibe. He helped make my dream a reality and was just a cool guy to work with. He is very people-oriented and knows how to have a great time.

wedding a reality. Steve is an excellent collaborator, taking the time to understand the vibe of your event to curate music around. We provided him with a few songs and genres we wanted but ultimately trusted him to select songs to keep our wedding energized - and he absolutely crushed it! Dancing at our wedding started during cocktail hour and lasted to the very end. Steve is fantastic and you will not regret bringing him onboard for your event!

experience. Since it’s our first wedding for both me and my bride, we didn’t really know what to look for—or look out for. He not only was easy to work with, but was incredibly professional day-of, as he moved from the ceremony site to the reception area seamlessly. Even as a couple monkey wrenches were thrown his way by our timeline going a little long in places, he improvised incredibly well—the “one song to run around and get table photos” was a brilliant idea and got us back on track! I’d recommend Steve to everyone I know, he was well worth it!

elivered. Our wedding flowed seamlessly and Stephen played a huge role in that. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding the best day of our life!!

special day. Lastly, as an added bonus, Steve even took "BTS" pictures of our big day and sent all of them too us. We are very pleased with him and his services and would recommend him in the future.

o the evening. Everyone still continues to talk about how amazing the DJ was ! Highly recommend for any event

beforehand, but Steve was the best before, during, and after the event. We had 150 people at our wedding and not only was the 20x20 dance floor packed, folks were dancing everywhere. I'd estimate Steve had 85-90% of our guests dancing for most of the night. Pros: Proactive - Steve set up a couple Zoom meetings, one for an initial meet and greet, another just before the wedding to confirm details, run through the schedule, etc. This helped make sure we were aligned before the big day Flexible - He was available as needed beforehand, drove quite a ways to our venue, and worked with our ceremony/reception structure perfectly. This was especially important for us as we were using a family property with our wedding being the first major event held there. Professional - Steve was the consummate professional, yet fun and easy going. He was on top of everything from getting there early to set up multiple locations to coordinating with other vendors throughout the night. Steve is also a stress REDUCER, which is a huge (and unexpected) bonus on the wedding planning side. Above and beyond - He actually captured some of the best pictures and video from the night and shared them the next day, which was really special. Value - I'm a big cost to value/numbers person and felt that Steve was fairly priced initially. The wedding more than confirmed that. Both my wife and I felt he was the best vendor of the night and easily worth it. Cons: I don't have another event to hire Steve for! Otherwise, I would because he was that good. Given our experience, I'm highly confident that you won't be disappointed going with Steve!

dition to our reception, we’ve also attended another’s and both times Steve perfectly mixed the tunes and the announcements. You’ll feel you have a DJ/Emcee, but you won’t be overwhelmed with one. Professional. Friendly. Just good people. Thx, Steve. - Ariel & Chris Schell

o the wedding and very helpful with respect to strategizing about logistics in advance of the event. Steve is a very skilled MC and has a knack for reading and working with the audience. He kept the crowd engaged the entire evening, ensured a smooth transition between all of the different stages of the wedding, and did a great job managing the timeline. Oh, and did we mention that Steve is an amazing DJ as well? Steve has great musical intuition and had our entire multi-generational crowd dancing the entire night. We had a great time at our wedding and so did many of our guests, and I would attribute that in large part to Steve. We love Steve and would highly recommend him for any wedding.

mazing music seamlessly. Our crowd had a lot of crazy song requests and he was so great about it, and found them all! I got so many compliments from guests about our amazing DJ. Would recommend him to anyone who needs a DJ for an event. I didn’t have to worry about a thing!

g and he was a huge part of that! Can't recommend enough, he's the best!

and helped keep the crowd going on the dance floor. My wedding coordinator was especially very impressed with his professionalism and he was a pleasure to work with. We ended up having a lot of toasts during the reception and they took longer than expected so we only had a few hours to dance afterwards before the wedding was over. Steve did such a great job motivating the crowd on the dance floor and we partied really hard for those few hours without skipping a beat. We were referred to Steve by a friend and I am so glad we went with him because he made our wedding that much more special

quipment on short notice to support another musician that we had hired, as well as some of our groomsmen that we decided (fairly last-minute) to have make a speech during the ceremony. Steve was flexible, consultative, and most importantly, ensured that everyone had a good time on the dance floor! I would highly recommend Steve for anyone getting married in the greater Sac area.

able, energetic, and organized. He listened to exactly what we were looking for, and delivered that AND even more. It was such a relief to have Steve as our DJ - reliable, kind, and absolutely on-point with DJ/MC ing. Even with two set-ups and many mics, he was so smooth. You can also tell that he genuinely cares about his clients - we felt his excitement! Steve, thank you for making our wedding perfect. We are so grateful!!!

set a great tone for the party during the reception and we had an absolute BLAST! He even provided us with an online album of some photos that he took throughout our wedding which was a wonderful surprise! We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, personable, professional, and experienced DJ for their wedding!

before the wedding to touch base on final plans. He's made a checklist of songs that are typically needed (first dance, special dances, song to fill the dance floor, etc) which was super helpful. We did song requests from our guests on their RSVPs and he was able to create a perfect mix of songs for our wedding. Steve was communicative in the planning process and a true delight to have at the wedding. We got a number of compliments from our guests on how great the DJ was, too!

vendors day of when plans changed up. He made sure to inform all the guests of what was happening so they could be informed throughout the night. He was open to feedback and made sure we were enjoying ourselves all night. He kept the dance floor going and when people made requests he make sure to fit them in if possible. He was able to piece together and make sense of directions when I was scatter brained. He did a phenomenal job at introducing the bridal party in a fun way! His speaking voice is great! Very friendly, easy to get along with, and interacts well with everyone!!

loor for most of the night, and on top of this is a genuinely great person. 10/10 would recommend again and again!

ld recommend him and have already told our friends about him for their weddings coming up!

ht (we did NOT give any sort of song list) and he did a phenomenal job!! Each song seemed to be better than the last! If I had a wedding do over I would pick Steve again in a heartbeat.

e as experienced as Steve provide these services at our wedding and it helped us achieve a remarkable and memorable wedding. So happy we chose Buzzardball Entertainment!

of our wedding, he jumped right in and was ready to go. He helped make sure the transitions were smooth as possible and kept the party going with great songs!

p on a dime and take on any requests you may have. He possesses an incredible "how can I help/support" mindset that allows everything to go smoothly.

ter DJ/Emcee for our special day! We gave him a few song choices we wanted to hear and from there he took the wheel and knew us better than we know ourselves. Our dance floor was occupied all night and that was our biggest ask! Steve truly made our wedding so much fun! He was professional and felt like you knew him from the start. We needed sound in 3 places and he made it happen! He was recommended to me by a friend whose wedding he did and an industry professional who was booked for our wedding date - we are so thankful for the recommendation. ALSO - he sent some of the best candid photos the next morning which was amazing because my husband and I didn't take any ourselves!

our big day, everything went according to plan, and Steve kept everything fun. I've been to weddings where the DJ's were less than good, but all our guests had nothing but good things to say about Steve's performance. If we were to go back, we'd 100% choose to go with Steve again!
