to get the band. I looked around online and listened to countless demos—I saw lots of good bands, and some not so good ones. A friend of mine had recently attended a wedding in the Philly area and said the band was great—that band was the Strangers. I gave them a listen, liked them, and trusted my friend’s recommendation; we booked the Strangers for our wedding. The band was GREAT. We had about 160 people at our wedding, ranging in age from 19 to 90. We are both 27 and most of our friends are about the same age. The band catered to all tastes. Our friends like to party—lots of drinking and dancing. The Strangers absolutely, 150%, met our group where they were and wanted to be. They sounded great, were tons of fun, brought tons of energy, and had a GREAT song selection given our group demographics. My wife did the vast majority of the wedding planning and everything was beautiful, went off without a hitch…but the number one thing that everyone talks about and complimented us on was how good the band was. I get to take credit for something lol. I also can’t speak highly enough of Rick and Denny. During the planning process, those two made it clear that they were absolute professionals who knew what they were doing. It was a gigantic relief to know that we were in good hands and could move on to other tasks. I wouldn’t waste my time writing this review if I didn’t wholeheartedly believe that the Strangers were instrumental to making our wedding a massive, massive, FUN success (that plus the open bar). If you’re on the fence about picking a wedding band, just book the Strangers. And do yourself a favor and add the horn section—it was some of the best money I’ve ever spent. Also…ask them to play Meatloaf’s “Paradise by the Dashboard Light,” if any of your friends/family are into classic rock: one of the highlights of the night. All of this to say, nothing - and I mean nothing, compares to how well they rocked the house on our wedding night. From an emotional keyboard during the ceremony, to swanky and fun saxophones at cocktail hour, they helped build the ambiance we were looking for on our wedding night. When it finally came time for the reception, they brought out the wedding party and helped us set the tone during our first dance that our night was going to be FUN. All throughout the night, our guests came up to us to compliment the band. My mom told me it was like she was at a concert! And even now, days later, people are still texting us talking about how amazing this band was. I can never thank them enough or say enough good things about them. He’s incredibly professional, super easy to work with, and also just so much fun! We also opted to add on the DJ-Fusion service and had Nils (SaxOnIt) play alongside Christian. We would book it over and over again if we could! Nils brought the energy, interacting with guests right on the dance floor, and added an unforgettable live element that has everyone still talking about the night. The two of them together created such a seamless and elevated entertainment experience. We can’t thank Christian and Nils enough for making our night so special. Highly, highly recommend!

It’s one thing to have a band at your wedding but the Strangers bring it to a whole other level. hey were going to be amazing after booking them following a showcase but their energy, ability to read the room and pick the most amazing songs for our event was better than we could have ever hoped for. Their range was phemonenal and they learned a new song for our first dance which was better than I could have predicted. We had some of their band members provide music for the ceremony and cocktail hour as well and it was great to not have to juggle multiple groups. They met with us to get our vibe and discuss logistics and their online platform for adding details made everything so simple. Thank you for making our event amazing! We cannot reccomend Strangers enough!

The dance floor was full all night long, and we knew after going to a few other weddings he had DJed that we didn't need to give him a ton of guidance. He actively sought out our "likes" and "dislikes," and BVT has an online portal to keep all of the events of the day organized so the DJ is able to work with the other vendors to keep things moving smoothly. I would really recommend working with BVT, and DJ Ryno in particular!

Forget the food or the venue which we’re also awesome (or us, for that matter), the first thing people say to is, “…that band was incredible!!!” The band leader, Luke, was great to deal with. They learned a few songs for us and really crushed it. I only have one piece of feedback where I thought there could have been improvement. I decided to surprise my wife with a little performance - I have been a musician for over 30 years and I used to perform with bands as well as my own when I was younger. She’s never seen me play with a band or really at all in a public setting. I asked the band to learn a different arrangement of a song they already knew so that I could jump in. I had made a point to stress that this was very important to me. and I feel that it fell a little short. It was still awesome, just not the arrangement I sent them. I was really looking to “bring it” and the energy just wasn’t there with how they played the song and I felt for how great the rest of the night went the ball wad dropped a little bit there. That being said we had a blast and… THAT BAND WAS AWESOME!!!!

They play every song that you could ever want at a wedding, and even work to learn songs that were not on their incredibly long list of songs they regularly play that we had special requested. You know it’s a great night when all the guests are chanting for an encore and dance floor packed until the very end of the night. Haley, Riley and Dean are incredible vocalists and the rest of the band are amazing musicians. So many people have told me that It was the most fun wedding that they had been to and this 100% is because of how incredible this band is. Book this band!!! We are thrilled with our experience and would recommend them to everyone!

He even suggested we add a quick between-course dance break before entrees came out, and we're so glad we trusted him! It gave the night some new energy that carried on after dinner. But the clearest indication of how people felt was the dance floor being full the whole reception. Denny was a great band leader. He and Rick met us for dinner about a month out from the wedding and we were able to talk through all the details. Their band has such an extensive song list that we were able to find many songs that we loved, and they also learned several more songs that we requested. Standouts in my memory are My Sacrifice by Creed and 3AM by Matchbox 20. The singers in Strangers are incredible, and their range of music/genres is very impressive. We wanted everything from disco, to 90s rock/punk, to Sinatra, to Lord of the Rings soundtrack, and they honestly nailed it all. We recommend Strangers to anyone for their event or wedding because of their talent, professionalism, and they're just the fun, creative energy that make any event a party. Thank you, Denny, Rick and all the rest of the band!
