Madison was amazing to work with for our wedding! We wanted a lot of color and had some unique requests (like a flower pocket for the groom instead of a boutonniere), and she delivered on everything we asked for. The archway and bouquets were absolutely gorgeous and she was so professional the entire time. So so happy with everything and cannot recommend her enough!

Madison and her team did our florals for our wedding on 3.19.2022 at the Lace House in Columbia, SC. Not only were the florals stunning but with little direction other than color, Madison made my vision come to life! The whole experience was great and I would highly recommend ByDesign for any upcoming wedding or event.

WOW! Madison and her team did a phenomenal job on our wedding florals! I had a specific image in my head- lavender colors, greenery like sage and eucalyptus, but also blush, white, baby's breath, etc. I had so many different elements in mind, and Madison was able to bring it to life! She is so detail-oriented, organized, and has such a beautiful eye for design. She knew exactly what florals to use and her team did FANTASTIC job decorating the venue. We had a large vault that was surrounded by foliage and florals, and it was to die for!! The reception looked exactly how I wanted it- dreamy, whimsical, romantic, boho-chic, yet classic. She was so easy to work with, especially after having to postpone multiple times due to COVID-19. Thank you for helping us have such a stunning wedding!

Where do I begin trying to share how comfortable we were from the first time we stepped into By Design to meet with Madison Wagner for our special day! She listened intently, took detailed notes, and effectively captured our vision of a magical, outdoor evening wedding! In addition to her amazing vision, ideas, and floral skill set, Madison equally gave attention and respect to staying within our set budget! Madison also had thorough communication with both us and our vendors! When our vision and her planned layout were completed, we honestly walked away knowing we had absolutely no worries or need to follow up as we were in the best hands possible and could now enjoy other aspects of the wedding day! Our confidence in her was so high that our future family of in laws decided to use her as well for the rehearsal dinner! Both events beyond exceeded our expectations and were accompanied with a joyful heart and smile from this amazing young lady and her team! These are moments in life you will never forgot visually or mentally and having the type of confidence we were able to have in Madison and her By Design Team was invaluable! We can honestly say we wouldn't have changed one thing! The vision, detail, and commitment of this team are second to none! 10 stars should be an option and I would gladly give Madison and By Design all 10 ten stars or even more! Madison was such an amazing part of my daughter's wedding planning and execution. Her ideas were amazing and different and all the special touches she added went such a long way to making this very special day even more so. Madison was patient during our 16 month planning process and was the calming voice of reason when issues arose a few days before the wedding and then the day of. Her professionalism, along with that of her mother, Denise, and Michelle, made this crazy wedding day beautiful and memorable. I cannot say enough about Madison and her team. Madison and the By Design team made all of my floral dreams come true! We hired them to do the florals for our rehearsal, ceremony and reception. Madison and her team were so amazing during the process, she answered all my emails and questions promptly and made my vision completely come to life! Everything from small cocktail table flowers, to the huge ceremony displays, to the hanging and floating florals, to my wedding bouquet were absolutely perfect. She saw my vision and made it happen! I could not have worked with a better floral vendor!

Choosing Madison and her team at By Design was the best decision I made for my wedding day. My wedding florals were top priority for me and I had a very specific vision. I wish I could put into words what I felt when I arrived at the venue on my wedding day and saw all of Madison and By Design's work. They absolutely took my breath away. She 100% made my floral dreams come true. My bouquet was beyond anything I could have ever imagined!! Madison and her team are extremely professional. They were very patient with me when I changed my design for the third time and especially when I added something three weeks before the wedding. I don't think I ever saw her without a smile on her face. I also hired her to do my day of coordinating and it was such a weight lifted off of my shoulders. She took care of every detail for me and I am forever grateful for her! She communicated with every vendor and made sure that everything went smoothly. I honestly cannot begin to scratch the surface regarding how happy I was with Madison and her team. They made my wedding vision come to life and I am still living on cloud nine. Madison and her team at ByDesign went above and beyond to bring the most elegant modern touches to my daughters wedding day. I was completely blown away with every detail of design of each bouquet, arrangement, wreath, down to the final floral touches on the wedding cake. All creations were one of a kind and truly magazine worthy. I will cherish these memories that ByDesign created for our intimate wedding forever! As you can see, ByDesign far exceeded my expectations and best yet they were very sensitive to my budget requirements.

My mother lives out of town and we appreciated Madison’s flexibility with meeting when my mom could come up for the visit. She always had great ideas to bring to the table and didn’t seem to mind my indecisiveness at times ;) haha! She helped create the perfect look that fit our budget, venue, and décor. We always had great communication and never once questioned our decision of going with them. After meeting with a couple florists, I decided to go with By Design because I felt like I could give them my inspiration and trust that they bring my own vision to life! I think we all gasped as we watched the team unloading flower arrangements for my sister’s wedding! They took our vision and made it an even more spectacular reality, even on a budget. Everyone was a pleasure to work with, from meeting Madison at our first consultation, to the ladies who delivered our bouquets on the wedding day. They were even thoughtful enough to leave paper towels to dry the bouquets when we removed them from their vases. They exceeded our expectations and gave us a beautiful wedding!

I was probably most excited to see all of my flowers on my 01/26/19 wedding day. By Design did not disappoint! From the ceremony to the reception, my classic and timeless wedding style was carried out by Madison and her team. The grapevine wreaths that hung from the tent ceiling were absolutely breath taking. All of the flower arrangements were absolutely gorgeous. My bouquet was everything I wanted and more. This florist was a breeze to work with and made my wedding vision truly come together. 10 out of 10 recommend using By Design Holiday and Events!

They were beautifully crafted and the attention to detail was outstanding. I don't know what I would've done without Madison, she is phenomenal!!! My sister got married last year, and I was privileged to be her maid of honor and help with her planning. She had a pretty broad idea of what she wanted with flowers, and was very open to suggestions and new ideas from the professionals. By Design's arrangements and presentation were more than we could have dreamed of. The flowers fit her venue and look perfectly, and we loved the different vases and variety of centerpieces that made the room so interesting. The aspect of By Design I was most impressed with was the communication. The staff truly wanted to make this day a dream for my sister, and I appreciate their attentiveness to her and clear communication. By Design is in the people business!

I was so excited when we came across Madison and her team. We got married in our hometown in Columbia, SC even though we were living in KY. Madison made it SUPER easy for me to just send pictures of things I wanted and adjust quotes as able. I had to have changed/added at least 30 things necessitating updates in my invoices and extra work for them and she did it quickly, professionally and happily! Our flowers turned out lovely and she was able to really make our vision a reality. Working with Denise, Madison, and their entire team made all the difference in planning my daughter's wedding. Given that I live on the opposite side of the country from where the wedding would be held, I knew there would be a number of challenges to face while trying to plan for such a special event. They were willing to conference call with me at odd hours to accommodate the time difference as well as meet with me for marathon days of venue shopping and design planning for the few trips I was able to make prior to the wedding. In spite of the distance, I always felt a part of the planning. I would encourage any bride, family, or organization to consider By Design for their special occasion. They are friendly, hardworking, creative, professional, and so well-versed in their craft and with other vendors they work with that they made the entire process stress free.

When my daughter and fiancée first met with Madison, they knew they had found their florist. She was able to put together a plan for them that ended up being exactly what they wanted. It could not have been more beautiful! The venue was at the Farm at Ridgeway and the mantle arrangement was particularly stunning. They also accommodated a special request by incorporating my mom's rosary in the bride's bouquet. It was just perfect. Thanks again to both Madison and Denise for their lovely work!

I was lucky enough to book By Design for my wedding last weekend. Not only did we book By Design for our florist but also for our day of coordination services. It was the best decision we could have made!! Madison went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure our wedding day was perfect. I could go on for days about how beautiful our flower arrangements were. Madison also had SO many creative ideas that I would have never thought of for our flowers and they truly were magical! Throughout the whole planning process, Madison was quick to answer questions, gave great advice, and put my mind at ease. Her and her mother, Denise (another amazing lady) ran a great rehearsal and an amazing wedding day. They made sure the wedding ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. Finding Madison was the best thing I did while planning my wedding. The arrangements she and her team made for my rehearsal, ceremony, and reception were absolutely gorgeous and I have had non-stop compliments about how beautiful everything was. I hired her as my day of coordinator- having your florist and DOC in one was an absolute blessing and made my life so easy! I'm not crafty whatsoever and honestly had no "vision" for my wedding. I basically just told her what I did and didn't like and told her to have fun with it and my wedding couldn't have turned out more perfect or beautiful. If you are still searching for a florist, look no more you have found the best one in Columbia! Denise made my bouquet for my wedding and did an absolutely stunning job! I sent her a picture of what I wanted and the bouquet was better than what I had envisioned, but was exactly what I wanted. Not only was the bouquet perfect, but her pricing is very reasonable, and she was wonderful to work with.

I could go on and on about how thankful I was that I chose By Design to do the flowers for my wedding. From the very beginning Denise was wonderful. She was so patient with us as we worked to articulate our vision for the wedding and offered great ideas we hadn't thought of. She has a wonderfully stocked warehouse with fixtures of all styles, sizes, and functions to choose from and does not charge a rental fee for any. The whole process was extremely easy with her and the final product was breathtaking and exceeded my expectations.

Denise and her staff were great! They were able to create the best bouquets for us as well as decorating the whole ceremony and reception. Denise was literally a Godsent! I can not give her or her team enough praise. Not only are they incredibly talented, they are literally the sweetest people you will ever meet! When we decided to have a destination wedding I was nervous about selecting vendors that I had not met. Denise drove all the way from Columbia to Charleston to meet me at my venue and discuss my vision. Within 5 minutes of meeting her I knew she HAD to be my florist! Deciding on the floral design was without a doubt, the most difficult decision I made throughout the entire planning process. Denise always responded quickly to all my emails and gave the best advice on my ever changing ideas. Two weeks before our wedding my fiancé was diagnosed with cancer; when I shared this news with Denise, she literally went above and beyond and took care of everything. I could never thank her enough for how kind she was during this time. It meant the world to myself and my family! With Denise's floral design, and day of planning our wedding went perfectly! Our wedding literally looked like a fairytale and we have Denise and her fabulous team to thank for that! Choosing Denise was the BEST decision we could have ever made!

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful these ladies were. They made planning my wedding alone so much easier. They also took every detail I wanted to incorporate and made it happen. They helped me bring my mom's spirit into the day, and made for a gorgeous wedding. They helped me bring my mom into our day though she wasn't physically able to be there. I got married outside on an urban farm and Denise and Gayle knew just what to create to compliment the venue. I did not have my heart set on any particular flower and I really wanted something natural yet colorful like a wildflower bouquet, and boy did they create my vision. It was stunning. I don't know how else to describe it. The compliments I received on the bouquets, aisle markers, altar arrangements and cake flowers almost brought tears to my eyes. And the bouts! The bouts were so natural, especially my groom's bout. It was perfect. Denise and Gayle are wonderful, kind women and they are great to work with. They know exactly how to bring your vision to life. I would reach out to them again in a heartbeat.

Mrs. Denise is amazing! From the beginning to the end, she had my best interest at hand. The flowers for my wedding were beautiful! Mrs. Denise and her team set up our ceremony and reception room with their Day of Services and I didn't have to worry about a thing. My God! If you do not hire this amazing woman to do your flowers and coordinate your wedding you will live to regret it! That is my sincerest & most honest review! Her & her designer worked countless hours & focused on countless details for my big day & I could not be more thrilled!! Something went wrong with all my other vendors EXCEPT By design! My flowers were more than I could have dreamed of, her communication was a breeze, & the time she put in for the rehearsal and the wedding day and night was over and beyond what others what do I'm sure.. hire her now! I cannot say enough great things about Denise & her team! From the very first moment we met Denise I knew that she was the perfect person to help with our wedding. I explained all my ideas and Denise & her team turned my ideas into the most magical, beautiful day ever! Denise listened to my thoughts & saw my Pinterest board & made all my wedding day dreams come true. Denise was always available to talk to us throughout the wedding planning process. Denise would sit with us for hours and answer all our questions. On the day of the wedding, our venue was supposed to set up the chairs for the ceremony, but didn't. My family never got a call to deal with that. Denise had her people set up the chairs even though that was not her responsibility. Denise went above and beyond to make our day perfect. My wedding day wouldn't have been half as wonderful if I wouldn't have hired Denise as my florist and day of coordinator.

The flowers were so full and popping with color, and are something that my guests still talk about to this day! Denise is absolutely AMAZING. I was probably one of her harder brides to work with since my ideas were scattered all over the place. She helped me to organize my ideas and help them come together beautifully! I wanted to add some of my own touches to my center pieces and she was so helpful through the entire process. She listen and made sure every little detail was perfect. I can not even find the words to let her know how amazing she is not only as a person, but a designer as well. Her flower arrangements were MY FAVORITE part of my entire wedding and I could not be more pleased with her and her staff that helped make my wedding perfect!!

Denise prepared flowers for my daughter's wedding and reception last weekend. She is very easy to work with and her arrangements were beautiful. She always listens to the bride and designs flowers based on her ideas and personality. Always with a smile, she made us feel like we were the most important clients she had,meeting us at the shop whenever it was convenient for us because we were from out of town. I would definitely call her again when I need flowers.

Denise and Madison created the perfect wedding. The blush pink rose bouquets and the table arrangements were so charming. They were listening and attentive to all my daughters wants. I had no worries about the ceremony and reception. Perfection.

Denise is absolutely amazing. I got married November 1, 2014. She was so easy to talk to and understood the look I was going for. She made everything very easy from start to finish. The flowers were gorgeous! I was so happy with all the flowers (my bouquet, the entire wedding party flowers, the reception flowers). All of it was perfect! She also went the extra mile on the day of my wedding. She did more than flowers! She helped pull off the look! And when we realized at the last minute we needed an extra table, Denise saved the day! She also brought some of her own items (such as decorative crates to display my wedding favors, extra cake stands for my pie table). She did a fabulous job and was reasonably priced too. So after an amazing job, she just sent me a sercie (on my 1 year anniversary) that brought tears to my eyes! So special! I will recommend Denise to everyone!
