John is an amazing photographer and person who exudes good vibes! We feel very lucky to have found him at random. We had a few folks recommend that we have two photographers for our wedding, but we feel like John, alone, was able to capture all our special moments solo. We had originally booked him for our wedding photos only, but after seeing so many amazing photos from his Instagram we decided to also have him do our engagement photos as well and we were absolutely thrilled with both.  Our wedding day was amazing - his calm and easy going demeanor made it wayyy less stressful. He made it fun for everyone involved while keeping all the shots we wanted on schedule while patiently wrangling the wedding party (a gift on its own). Importantly enough, his input helped significantly with our overall wedding timeline.  His dedication to his art is apparent as he takes time to scout out the locations prior to sessions. He was extremely communicative, easy to get a hold of and detail oriented. We had several phone calls, which he'd proactively scheduled, to make sure all the details were correct and had us fill out a questionnaire to ensure he was straight on exactly what we had envisioned. We've already recommended him to everyone we know with special occasions on the horizon! 10/10 amazing, you will not be disappointed with By John Allen!

John was by far the best photographer I’ve ever worked with. He is easy to be around, kind, funny, and full of experience!! He reached out way in advance and let me know exactly what to expect from him and what my part looked like for the day of. He got in contact with my day-of coordinator to discuss timeline details. It felt easy and effortless, and for me as the bride, that was everything!! The day of the wedding he showed up early and was rolling through the getting ready pictures without a hiccup! Us girls were laughing and just comfortable in his presence. My husband and his groomsmen had said the same thing. The pictures were epic. You can really see everyone’s personality. Getting the pictures back was just so fun. As I was going through each one my emotions changed from crying to laughing. They were stunning in every way. He took some of the most magical pictures when I didn’t even realize he was taking them. The moments he captured were perfect and I am just so grateful we decided to go with John! The style, lighting, and angles were exactly how I pictured. I feel like my guest could really be themselves around him, and it shows in every single picture. I cannot say enough good things about him! He is truly an amazing photographer and an even greater human! I’d recommend him a million times over!!

John did beautiful work with our wedding pictures. His style is timeless, elegant, and still modern. What he delivered is exactly what we loved about his portfolio. He was super communicative and invaluable in helping us break down the best schedule for the wedding day to accomplish all the photos we were looking for. My now husband broke his ankle a week before the wedding and while that was stressful, I knew John would be able to capture the hilarity of the circumstances as well as gorgeous photos where you'd never know my husband was in a boot! I can't recommend him enough. A++

John was our favorite vendor we worked with through the entire process, from planning and getting our engagement photos to leading up to / the actual wedding day. John is incredibly professional and has such a calming presence about him. He made the day so effortless for us and reduced a lot of the stress we had going into it! We love the photos he got of us and does a great job of directing shots so you don't have to worry about what to do or how to pose. He was also one of the best communicators we worked with and was always super responsive. Thank you John from Scott and Lindsey : )
