Mary Sarah did a fantastic job delivering photos that matched our vision and personality as a couple. We really wanted to capture as much of our ceremony as possible while keeping the photos as candid as we could. We didn’t want the photos to take over the wedding, and she did a great job of making everything feel natural. She was able to blend into the background and keep guests (and us!) focused on the event rather than her camera. We really felt that we were able to be present and enjoy our time with our families and friends at the wedding—and much of this is due to Mary Sarah’s subtle approach to wedding photography. The best example of this is how she approached the church’s policy on photography. The church was protective of the space and warned us that no photographers were allowed in the center aisle during the ceremony. But, on the wedding day, they were so impressed with her respect for the church that they let her go wherever she liked! This is a testament to her professionalism and artistry. She has an eye for the true beauty found in a wedding, and this comes through in both her approach and the final product. She handled her task with a grace that put us at ease in the midst of last-minute hiccups. She kept us on schedule and relaxed—and she did this all as a solo photographer. Her final photos brought tears to our eyes. We can’t imagine having had anyone else!

Mary Sarah was so easy to work with and a phenomenal photographer. She captured such priceless moments in an unobtrusive way. Easily adaptable to fit your style of photography, she provided seamless service with a smile. It felt like she was one of the family at the reception and during the pre-wedding preparations. I can only hope she will be willing to do pregnancy photos when the time comes for that!

Mary Sarah was a wonderful photographer to have for our wedding. She was very easy to work with before the wedding, communicating what parts of the day were important for pictures and what types of pictures we wanted. On the wedding day she captured so many beautiful moments perfectly and jumped right in to the rhythm of our bridal group. We could not have been happier with our wedding pictures! I would definitely recommend Mary Sarah!
