They sat down with my mom & I for a very long time (I was shocked how long we talked) and helped plan out everything to perfection. They were always willing to talk on the phone too. They even gave me ideas I hadn’t thought about before for the reception. As for the DJ service, now, I don’t think I was a bridezilla, but as a vegan I had very specific moral requirements for the music. You get to add songs that are speciality music, must play, play if possible, and don’t play list through their online system. I had a very specific and long do not play list of singers that included ones who wore fur, hunters, women abusers, and the list went on and on. Jeremy and Nina nicely called me up and wanted to respect my morals and understand my thought process. The patiently waited for my list to be complete. They did a fantastic job of playing the songs that I wanted. But more than that, Jeremy has a fantastic voice and was great at directing the guests, talking with the guests, and making the wedding a blast. He is a true professional. And nothing highlighted that more than when my wedding got more than an hour and a half behind schedule. Jeremy did not freak out at all. He remained calm and we started to improvise. We had to drop some of the slow songs that I had on my must play list because we didn’t have the dance time for it. Jeremy was completely on top of it. And the guy knows how to pack the dance floor & keep everyone dancing. He effortly fused my country music requests, with pop, and with R&B. As for the florist, Nina is so talented and has so many great ideas. She made everything look so beautiful, and my bouquet was absolutely gorgeous. It was everything I had imagined and more. She got my request for a maroon/burgundy rose and not a red rose just perfect. She will also work with you to relocate flowers to save you money. And that’s another great thing about By Request--the prices. They are very reasonable. After my wedding I remember thinking---I would have paid double the price for them, because I really can’t imagine my wedding without them. Simply put--go with them! And Jeremy & Nina if you are reading this, thanks again for helping me have my dream wedding!

So glad I put my trust in her because the flowers were BEYOND gorgeous, and way better than anything I would have suggested. I also have to give her major kudos on the day-of coordination. She went above and beyond in every way - including communicating with a neighboring festival about needing to turn their music off (there was a double booking with the venue) and almost tackling a late guest who almost walked down the aisle in front of me! And I can't forget about Jeremy. He is so friendly and you can tell when you meet him that he really wants to make your day special and unique. He asked a lot of thoughtful questions about our music selections and what type of atmosphere we wanted for the big day. Overall the whole event ran so smoothly. nversation (anyone who has attempted to get pricing from wedding vendors will understand what a miracle this is). We went with the whole package, Nina was our day of coordinator and florist and Jeremy was our DJ and he did lighting (included with the package). Nina does not charge enough for the services she provides - it was closer to month of coordination. When we were starting to go crazy with the details she was always jumping in with alternate ideas or suggestions, and I think she may be a mind reader when it comes to floral. Nina and Jeremy together really helped guide us through planning and timing the day as well as the music selections. They really go above and beyond anything you could expect (and beyond the lofty expectations they set)! Nina and Jeremy both attended the Friday rehearsal. Despite our families showing up an hour late, and no one paying attention to anything, they were incredibly patient and we were somehow able to get two run throughs in. They were even able to accommodate some week-of/day before small revisions without any problems and all with a smile. The day of the wedding was absolute perfection because of these two. The venue had some power issues during cocktail hour which was no problem for Nina and Jeremy, they always have a generator for such an occasion! Jeremy kept the dance floor packed the whole night, he even had some people dancing that probably didn't even dance at their own weddings. He was very strict on our “do not play” list (to the disappointment of some of our guests ;)) He struck the perfect balance of both encouraging the guests and staying in the background. While the price for just the DJ might lean towards the higher side for the area, it would be well worth it and if you book Nina for DOC and florals then the whole package is downright a steal! We cannot speak highly enough of Nina and Jeremy. Suffice to say, book with them and your event will be great!

ome really great advice (including ways to save money since we werent on a huge budget) and was really nice and fun to talk to. I made a couple other calls but the vibe I got from talking to Nina totally sold me. I booked By Request without meeting them in person first. About a month later we scheduled a time to meet with Jeremy and Nina in person while we were in the area. (We aren't from the Paso area, we're about an hour and a half away, and don't make it down there much however when we knew we would be down there I called Nina and she fit me in on rather short notice which was really awesome.) Unfortunately my husband (then fiancé) wasn't able to make it last second. My MOH went with me instead. We met at a Starbucks and talked for more than 3 hours!! It didn't even feel like it was that long because we were having so much fun! Jeremy and Nina helped us go through the entire wedding day. We talked about different types of music and they gave us great suggestions/advice. They also suggested various games/activities to keep guests engaged. They made a comment in the beginning that they were there for us, it was our day and about what we wanted. I completely felt that they made the entire thing about us. They supported everything we wanted to do despite how crazy it may have sounded. After our meeting we slowly began choosing songs for our ceremony and reception on the online planning form. Based on our meeting Nina and Jeremy also helped create a timeline for us. The week of our wedding we had another call with Nina to finalize everything. This was very helpful and made things run very smooth. Our wedding was 250 guests in a big open field. Their sound system was really high quality and the music was excellent. Nina ran our day of coordinating and she was amazing!! I had several people make comments to me about what a great job she did. She made sure the entire day ran smoothly. She helped make sure people were where they needed to be, she handled vendor payments for me, we weren't able to take brides/bridesmaids photos before the ceremony and she worked with our photographer to rearrange the timeline, she worked with the caterer to make sure dinner would be ready based on our timeline changes, to name a few of the major things she did. Jeremy is excellent on the mic. He really kept people engaged and the dance floor was completely full almost instantly when open dancing started. We picked reception songs in or planning form but we totally gave them the ability to read the crowd and play what they thought was best. This totally worked because we wound up having them stay an extra hour because the dance party was still going strong! We were about an hour and a half from their hometown and it was a late night and they were still willing to stay until well after midnight. I really can't say enough good things. Jeremy and Nina were very professional and made our wedding so much fun. They are truly exceptional at what they do and I highly recommend them!!

Upon first talking to Jeremy and Nina, I knew they were anything but that. From my first phone conversation with Nina, she talked me through the process and worked to get to know me and my now-husband as a couple. Nothing about By Request is about “just another job”, it’s about understanding you as a couple and making your big day as perfect as possible. By Request makes you feel special. Even our grandparents never left the dance floor! All-in-all, Jeremy and Nina are personable, professional and a great team to work with! A DJ is one of the most important vendors of the day, and there is no doubt that if you choose By Request, Jeremy and Nina will make sure to treat your wedding as if it were their own and ensure it goes off without a hitch!

When I contacted the company, I was introduced to Jeremy's lovely wife Nina, who I quickly realized would be the perfect florist and day-of coordinator for my big day. Nina and Jeremy were nothing short of amazing and, as I said, they created my most memorable experience to date. We were in constant communication and they couldn't have been more responsive, helpful, happy and excited. You don't realize until you get married that it feels REALLY good to have other people feel just as excited about your big day as you are. It was the prettiest table set up I have seen. Simple and beautiful all at the same time. She knocked out of the park. The bouquets were gorgeous, again just perfect with the dresses. All the flowers that Nina sprinkled around the venue looked so pretty, the whole picture was beyond perfect. Really stunning! Nina also was our "day of" coordinator, and she did a fantastic job keeping the staff going and overseeing the service. Jeremy was our DJ/MC and he did an amazing job as well. Such a nice, outgoing, personable guy. As soon as we met them we knew we were in good hands. I had quite a few people come up to me at the reception and tell me they thought he was the best DJ they had ever seen! I agree. Both Nina and Jeremy took time out of their schedules to meet with my daughter and find out about how she and Elliot met, what they liked and if they had any stories they wanted to have Jeremy share at the reception. They also had some great suggestions for the reception, idea's to make it even more fun and personal. They truly are a delight to work with and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Nice, fun, professional, caring and very easy to work with. I don't remember what we spent, although we were on a budget, so I know they are affordable, but we walked away feeling like we had truly gotten our moneys worth and more. And honestly, that was the best decision we made. He is a true professional and kept our crowd on their feet. I would not have changed one thing he did. But all of a sudden, I could hear my instrumental music playing (I think it was Andrea Bocelli at the time), just like we had talked about and was immediately put at ease. He played such a great part in our day. As for Nina, she is one of a kind. She took on the whole look and feel of our wedding. From the floral, to the decor, to helping me decide on linens and set-up, she is responsible for every single compliment I received about my wedding decor. Aside from that, every so often I would look up and see her doing something, which was so comforting. In that day, as the bride or groom, you are just in a daze, not knowing what's even happening and seeing your vendors making things happen and working so hard is honestly so amazing and calming. I was so confident that they were taking care of everything, I never had to worry. Meet with them, talk with them, hire them. You will not be disappointed. We had a custom mix for our introduction that was so much fun and our guests loved it. All the important moments through out the evening were perfect. I know this list sounds long, but truth is, we thought and now know, the DJ is one of if not THE most important vendor. Jeremy exceeded our expectations on every single check mark on our list. 1) This guy knows what he's doing. From the equipment he recommended and used (everyone could hear everything perfectly)to his song order to keep the crowd entertained to his MCing - he was simply the best. 2) Jeremy was more than likable. We got quite a few comments about what a cool DJ we had. Who comments on that? Really, that's how good he was. He wasn't cheesy, he wasn't into taking any spotlight, he was just the man behind the curtain and someone who you could easily see being friends with. 3) The price was right. We noticed that a ton of DJ's had gimmicks - "get a free photo booth" - "get some extra lighting" - we heard it all. After meeting with all the DJ's, we sat down and talked about all the side deals and extra - but ultimately none of it mattered to us. Not only was Jeremy the right price - he didn't need any gimmicks - what was important to us, was that we got the Best DJ at the Best Price. And we were right when we picked him. 4)From the very start, Jeremy and his wife Nina said their job was to focus on "us" and to make things as special as possible. They met with us numerous times - even when it was last minute. They spoke to us over the phone, through email, and once even at 1 in the morning when we were having a difficult time picking a song to walk down the isle. They met up with me for a rehearsal performance (my surprise for the wife) and set up all their equipment and assisted in the actual performance itself! 5) Finally, and possibly most important - they meshed with our personalities. I cannot see them not meshing with anyone. They are both so relaxed, sweet, generous, thoughtful, and simply good people.
