Leading up to our wedding, we were probably the most excited about By the Lee. Their music—anchored by mandolin and acoustic guitar, and showcased by Lauren’s vocals—was the perfec...
t match for the folksy vibe we were going for. Icing on the cake, they were organized and communicative right off the bat, something we needed planning a wedding remotely. Our guests were in awe of the chill atmosphere they helped create during our ceremony on cocktail hour. And of course, just now watching our wedding video, we too are in awe. We hands down would recommend By the Lee to anyone looking for their next wedding band. Until then, we hope to catch y’all live at one of your shows soon!

mance.
From the very beginning, it was clear that By the Lee were not just any ordinary musicians. They took the time to get to know us and understand our musical tastes and preferences, and they worked with us to create a customized playlist for our wedding ceremony and reception.
On the day of our wedding, By the Lee's performance was simply breathtaking. Their beautiful and soulful music set the perfect tone for our ceremony, and we received countless compliments from our guests about how wonderful they sounded.
What really impressed us about By the Lee was their versatility. They seamlessly transitioned from playing our requested wedding ceremony music to more contemporary songs during our reception. We had guests coming up to us during the reception saying "this band is so cool!"
Throughout the entire process, By the Lee were incredibly professional, responsive, and easy to work with. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was unforgettable, and we cannot thank them enough.
Overall, we cannot recommend By the Lee highly enough! If you're looking for talented and versatile wedding ceremony musicians who will help make your day truly special, this is the group to choose. Thank you, By the Lee, for the incredible memories!
Lauren and Pete played at our wedding ceremony, and they made the atmosphere so wonderful and perfect. Their communication was excellent, and on the day they were prepared and calm...
, and just nailed the vibe we were looking for. We had selected a few songs for our ceremony, but there were some blank spots that we just weren’t sure about - we had trouble picking a song for the bride’s processional, definitely the most important musical moment! We wanted something meaningful but not too somber. They were able to give us some great suggestions to choose from, which was so great. After our short (outdoor) ceremony, the day was so nice that our guests continued to hang out on the lawn for a few minutes, and Lauren and Pete read the room and did a few more minutes riffing on our ending song, just to make everyone comfortable. It was lovely. Highly recommend them! Thank you both!
Great band. Style we wanted. A little quiet when we were by the river but the venue doesn’t allow speakers.
We hired By the Lee for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they absolutely crushed it! Communication throughout was easy and it was an amazing feeling to hear the songs we had sele...
cted being played as our ceremony started and the execution was nothing short of perfect. Such a perfect choice for our outdoor Lyons wedding. Thanks, Pete & Lauren!

ned two of our favorite songs to play! Not only was their music incredible, but they were great communicators with us as well as with our day-of coordinator, officiants, and venue. They even helped us figure out sound for our ceremony. We are so grateful for them and would recommend them in a heartbeat!

sional, flexible, and genuine during the entire planning process. As I look back on my wedding day, my favorite memories were so deeply enhanced by their music and the calm energy they brought with them.
BOOK THEM! I cannot say enough good things about Pete and Lauren. With Covid cutting our guest list down from 230 people to 14 people, Pete and Lauren were the perfect addition to ...
our intimate wedding in Breckenridge. Their vocals, their instrumentals, and their song choices were absolutely spot-on. Give the videos on their website a peek, and you'll know. I'm honestly now looking for an excuse to have another party so we can book them again. Aside from the whole "gaining a husband" thing, they were my favorite part about the day.
There are not enough stars in the sky to give the rating we want to give to By The Lee! Our wedding was changed dramatically due to COVID-19 group guidelines. We didn't know if it ...
was possible for our wedding day to feel special anymore - but Lauren and Peter found a way! Not only did they come out to play our first dance song for my husband and me, but also played it live via Zoom for all our virtual guest to see. It sounded flawless and truly added to our night. They rolled with the punches with us and made our night what it was. I would recommend this band to anyone 1000 times over again!
What a year to host my daughter's wedding! I can't thank By The Lee enough for all their flexibility and willingness to support our many changing needs. And that's nothing compared...
to the quality of the music! Lauren and Pete willingly took on learning two new songs and made them sound like they've been performed for years. Listen to their music - The Railsplitters and By The Lee - so much talent and Lauren's voice is incredible! Hire this band! You won't regret it!!
