Everyone was very energetic to help us decide on how our wedding cake would look and taste. The flavors were super hard to choose from because they all came out so great. And the taste testing itself was very fun. They were prompt and ready to decorate the moment they got to the venue, amazing service!

Y'all, when I say they delivered, they delivered! Our wedding cake was everything and more!!!! It was fantastic and was the star of the wedding! It was exactly what we wanted and flavor... oh man! The chocolate cake was the first to go and it went fast. We literally only had the top of the cake left. Thank you for making our day even more special and stress free!

I went with C. Marie's after trying their cake at my friend's wedding in May. My husband and I went for a tasting for our October wedding and tried the Spice cake and it is SO GOOD. It is the best cake I've ever had. I made sure to sit down at my wedding and enjoy a whole piece, and saved the few leftovers to eat in the weeks after our wedding. The service they provide is awesome, they worked with us to customize our cake design with something unique even though we wanted something relatively simple. I highly recommend C Marie's not just for the high quality of the flavor, but also the talent and care that goes into customizing each cake. Can't wait to go back for our first anniversary!

I hired C. Marie's 14 months before my wedding and in that time my design did change as we changed themes. I reached out a couple times without response (6/23, 8/16) when i just wanted them to confirm they got the changes i was requesting. When i did finally get a response 8/20 they said they would pull my file that week and get with me to do the adjustments. On 9/21 i reached out again as i hadn't heard back, then again 9/27 without response. Then on 9/29 he called me and we went over things. All was good. On wedding day... Cake showed up and it was 100% leaning and i addressed that and he tried telling me that it was my cake stand and it was definitely not. but i said okay should we take it off it and see and he said no its fine, but it was leaning pretty significantly but i wasn't going to try lifting it or moving it and dropping it so i left it. It did come in with 2 pretty big cracks around it as well, which i asked him to fix and he did. But the bottom layer looked like it had already cracked straight around the middle and had been fixed previously but I had a lot to do and just let it go because of being busy and the cake was beautiful minus those issues. I end up mentioning my concerns to my coordinator who assured me the cake was definitely leaning it wasn't the stand and he took pictures as proof and kept watch for it in case it started to go. It did end up holding up which was great. As for the taste, the mocha expresso and red velvet were absolutely amazing, very moist and delicious. The pink champagne was unfortunately pretty dry and most of it did not get eaten. all in all, it was an okay experience edit to add their response to me and front of the cake for their "accurate" view on it

We had a great experience with C Marie's Sweets! It was the first tasting we did and it remained our favorite even after visiting with 4 other vendors. The cake is DELICIOUS and they did a great job with working with the unique vision we had for our cake. They always responded promptly whenever we reached out with questions and they also were great about communication the week of the wedding. Highly reccomend!

Stop searching for a bakery right now. My husband and I tried MANY cakes for our wedding, and this was the ONLY vendor he INSISTED on for our whole wedding. Every single one of their cakes are delicious. Moist and sweet but not too sweet. And they are true works of art! They made our dream wedding cake a reality – it was perfect from the inside out. Our guests are STILL talking about the cake, and our only sadness is that it’s gone! We cannot wait to order again from C. Marie’s.

A great bakery!!! The owners are so kind and were really helpful in designing our wedding cake and choosing the flavors. They still do in-person tastings, which was difficult to find in the DFW area. We have already used them for other family events, the flavors are great and not overly sweet, which is exactly what we were looking for!

Wonderful experience and cake. Tristan was really a rockstar when it came to helping me figure out what I wanted. I had some inspiration pics and he just took it and flew. Completely nailed what I wanted for both the wedding cake and grooms cake. It was such an honor to work with them. All the cakes were gluten free but I got compliments from everyone saying how moist and delicious it all was (eve n from people that didn't know it was gluten free!) I could not have had a better cake designer.

C. Marie's Sweets was an absolute dream of a vendor for our wedding! We cannot recommend them enough!! Their cakes are absolutely delicious (so much so that my husband and I couldn't choose a flavor, and each tier of our cake was a different flavor!) We even made sure to get all of the leftovers, so we could take the cake home with us to enjoy later. On top of the taste, the cake was absolutely everything we hoped it would be. Beautiful and elegant, they listened to our ideas and executed exactly what we were going for. We also ordered Gluten Free cupcakes for some of our guests, which were absolutely devoured by GF guests and non-GF guests alike. My non-GF best friend still talks about how good those cupcakes were. The owners are also the nicest people ever and were very accommodating. Love this bakery and can't wait for an opportunity to order from them again!

We ordered a wedding cake and a groom's cake from C Marie's for our wedding in September 2022. Both cakes arrived on time and intact. The lemon curd cake is fantastic. They did a pretty good job of giving me what I asked for in terms of appearance. We got a semi-naked three-tier cake. My only complaint is they said they would send me photos of the cake before the wedding to make sure it looked right, and they didn't do that.

They are reasonably priced, were a dream to work with, and very accommodating on our wedding day as we last minute needed a delivery instead of pickup. The cakes were exactly what we were looking for and tasted amazing. We are still getting compliments on the Snickers flavor. We couldn’t recommend this place more!

C Marie’s exceeded all of my expectations. Our wedding not only was the most beautiful cake that we could have imagined, but it was also the most delicious cake we’ve ever had. You can tell by looks and taste that C Marie’s takes so much pride and care into each creation they make. Not only are their cakes perfection but the owners are such sweet and accommodating people - they are fully aware of how big of a day weddings are and they are very in tune and sensitive to the needs/requests of their clients. We went into our cake tasting not sure if this was who we would choose (we had two more places lined up), but as soon as we sat down and met the owner and tried our first piece of cake we decided within 10 minutes that C Marie’s was the way to-go. We ended up canceling our other tastings because we knew that there was no need. We are coming up on our first anniversary and C Marie’s is remaking our anniversary cake so we are so so excited!! I cannot recommend them enough, TRULY!!!

We purchased our wedding cake from C. Marie's Sweets for our wedding and the experience was amazing. I had actually went to a cake tasting for my sister's wedding the year before and the experience was so good, I decided to use them for my own wedding. My husband and I picked a naked cake with strawberry and snickers flavoring. The flavors were not too sweet and we loved that the cake was not too dry.

My wedding just passed and I can say my wedding was perfect until I saw the grooms cake and cut our wedding cake. To find that you pay so much for a cake to be frozen solid is so disappointing especially to have my guests (who were expecting a delicious cake since I was telling everyone how delicious the cake was during the cake tasting) and have a bland, flavorless, frozen solid wedding cake is beyond DISAPPOINTING! I could barely slice through it for the pictures so we just posed instead of slicing it. He told us during our consultation to trust him since he would surprise us for the eagles themed cake….surprise you did for sure! I could’ve used my own printer and stuck a picture on a plain white cake myself! And when brought up dissatisfaction he had the audacity to question my mom and offer to pay them $200 to sign an agreement to not write a negative review…no thanks I rather save someone else the disappointment

unately we were surprised to hear of your disappointment of the Italian cream tiers on the brides cake which consisted of the 2 out of 4 tiers. As discussed on the phone with you, we do not freeze our cakes, freezing wedding cakes causes cracking in the buttercream, sweating as it thaws, and inability to put dowel rod structure through it to stack. This was not an issue for your brides cake and it is impossible to only have half the cake frozen as you mentioned being happy with the 2 pink champagne tiers. Your cake was baked fresh the week of your wedding , decorated and delivered personally by me. Additionally, after confirming with the venue which we have a relationship with, your cake had no complaints day of your event. Package C as it states on the website includes a brides cake 4 tier and a grooms cake with an edible image logo on top which is what you received and additionally was given $75 flavor upgrade off the package pricing for the brides cake. Since the groom chose strawberry cake the grooms cake was frosted in white with the eagles logo as purchased. We were happy to upgrade the grooms design with additional decorations as you included in a picture to your review, yes we offer eleborate grooms cakes! You did not order the golf ball cake, this would have been a significant upgrade. The grooms cake you paid for was a package design including an edible image chosen by you. We never surprise any bride and groom on their wedding day with a design, all designs are sketched and clearly stated and confirmed for your proof. The cake design was also confirmed by you via email before the wedding. You received a beautiful 4 tier brides cake with Swiss dot and smooth alternating tiers to compliment the custom sketch you were provided. We encourage all of our brides to have their catering staff disassemble a wedding cake for service in lieu of a family member who hasn't had wedding cake cutting experience. The $200 offered to you was requested by you when we asked what would make you happy and was declined. We ask that when a refund is given you are agreeing to a resolution and satisfied with the outcome in writing. Since you declined this offer no refund was given as the wedding cake was cut and served to guests and there was no proof of your complaint we offered a refund in good faith. Very DISAPPOINTED with my experience with this bakery! Only positive thing I can say about my experience was they designed the wedding cake as sketched. Once the cake was cut during the wedding the biggest layer was still frozen! The staff wasn’t able to the slice the cake because it was frozen solid. The cake did not taste anything like when we went to the cake tasting. It was somewhat flavorless. Very disappointing to pay so much and get something Walmart could’ve baked better! NOW ONTO THE GROOMS CAKE…..during our consultation I specified I wanted it to be eagles themed to which he cut me off to say “don’t worry I will surprise you trust me” and he did…surprised everyone! All he did was print the eagles sticker and placed it on top of a plain white cake. On his website he promotes these extraordinary cakes as pictured but to our surprise we got this plain and ugly grooms cake. Once again VERY VERY DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED! After the wedding i contacted the bakery and he questioned me and implied we lied about the frozen cake and the ugly grooms cake. Wanted to pay me $200 to sign an agreement and not write this review. Let me save you money and take your business elsewhere I’m sure Walmart or Sam’s bakery will give you a better experience with the cake AND customer service!

Overall very nice family owned business! The wife/baker is sweet from what I saw & the husband is definitely a big personality. The cake itself was amazing and so beautiful! I highly recommend C. Marie’s Sweets! The cake flavors are all so delicious. It was honestly hard to narrow it down during the cake tasting, but my husband and I have fallen in love with the Pink Champagne flavor. They brought our vision to life and delivered the most beautiful cakes for our special day. My husband is into Volkswagens, and they created a cake replica of his 1967 beetle that was absolutely perfect. Honestly, C. Marie’s was the easiest vendor to work with out of all of the different people I had to be in contact with for planning. They are so responsive, kind, and easy to work with. I definitely recommend C. Marie’s!

C.Marie's cakes were fantastic in every way. We gave them artistic freedom over our groom's and bridal cakes, with very loose requirements in color, theme and execution. The cakes themselves were made better than we could ever have asked for! Not only were they gorgeous, but delicious as well! We chose Amaretto and Mocha Espresso, and both cakes were gone quicker than we could have hoped for! I cannot suggest C.Maries sweets more, their customer service, communication, and execution are all absolutely perfect.

This is a a family business where the husband does all the back office work including taste testing. I was kind of nervous that it won’t get executed the way I envisioned my cake but it turned out so beautifully. Cristine is no mediocre baker. You can tell from the texture and flavor of the cake that she had top notch training and experience. The sweetness of the frosting did not overpower the flavor of the cake which are pink champagne and blackberry lavender. Technique was professional and flavors are unique and delicious. Our cake matched the elegance of our venue and floral theme.

The Cake is so important a detail that it just has to be right. My daughter choose such a simply designed cake that the choice of cake stands was just as important. Bottom line, the stand we purchased was not going to work. The owner compassionately offered us the use of one of their stands and said that he would pick up the stand as well. I was so deeply moved by his offer to “cover” us with grace. Her champagne pink cake was delicious.

We had a Raspberry Chocolate layer, the Blackberry Lavender, as well as Vanilla. I'm literally drooling while writing this, just reminiscing on Christine and her desserts! We had a horrible experience with a cake baker before meeting Christine and we are so glad that it happened the way it did because we can't imagine it any differently! We ended up doing a dessert table because we couldn't just stop with a cake from C. Marie's Sweets! We had a blackberry lavender cake, a mixed berry and lemon cake, raspberry cheesecake bites and cake pops and although we didn't get to enjoy all of them as bride and groom, from our tastings, cake cutting and little snacks we snuck, we knew it lived up to our expectations and kept our guests happy and full! We can't wait to use C. Marie's Sweets for literally everything in the future - we love them so much!

Our wedding cake was amazing and simply beautiful! It turned out exactly how we asked for! And it was perfectly delicious, not too overly sweet and we got many compliments on it. Also, the customer service was amazing. Definitely recommend C.Marie’s Sweets, they also did a complimentary cake for our one year anniversary so we wouldn’t have to save a piece of the cake for a whole years as it is many couple’s tradition, and their cake tasting was complimentary as well. Overall, we’re more than pleased with their service and recommend them 100%

We ordered my daughter’s wedding cake here and were very happy with it! We decided to have a larger wedding cake just a few weeks before the wedding and Tristan quickly scheduled a tasting. He and his wife were friendly and answered all of our questions. All of their flavors were delicious and we decided on vanilla and blackberry lavender. We also requested one layer be gluten-free. The cake was delivered right on time and was fabulous! We got lots of compliments from our guests. We would definitely use them again!

Both of my daughters have used C Marie sweets. They are a joy to work with. They taking their job seriously and efficiently. Their prices are fantastic. Their cakes are simply the best we tried. I highly recommend C Marie to anyone planning a wedding or anniversary.

C. Marie's Sweets were awesome to work with. The cake tasting was not only delicious but the owners were comfortable and fun. The cakes (three-tiered bridal and a groom's cake) were delivered on time and looked better than we could have imagined. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the cakes with the floral arrangement on it as well as many questions on where we ordered from-and of course they tasted incredible. Highly recommend!

To get right to the point not this was one of the best cakes I've ever got to indulge in. C.Marie sweets is one of the most unique cake designers I've ever come across. I actually got to chat with the owner and he is a wonderful person to be around. Honestly wish he could have stayed longer to hang out with everyone. Please do yourself a favor and checkout these guys. Truly worth every penny.

Amazing to work with! The cake was incredible! We used C. Marie sweets for Our wedding Cake ! The cake was beautiful was the best tasting cake I’ve ever had. Completely amazing to work with, we had to cancel out wedding due to Covid, When I called and told her we had rescheduled the wedding she was there for us with our cake on our new date !

We used C. Marie’s cake for our June wedding. The cake was absolutely perfect and I loved it! It was exactly what I wanted. The pink champagne flavor is my absolute favorite. The lady was so kind and listened to what we needed. My only complaint would be that the cake melted a bit before we could eat it! It was a hot June day but I wish they would hav put the cake in our room with ac instead of outside where the reception was. But all in all amazing customer service, absolutely stunning cake, and fantastic flavor!!

After being ghosted by our original baker, I was in panic mode trying to find a new baker in such short notice. Christine was so sweet and willing to help us on our big day! We were able to visit the store front and try the cakes, which were amazing! We chose two flavors and I gave them a picture that I liked for inspiration. Tristan was able to take the photo and make a more unique cake that matched our wedding perfectly! The cake was AMAZING and we still talk about it today! There literally wasn't a single slice left. Even during the busiest time of year for weddings, Christine heard my vision and brought it to life! I couldn't be happier with our experience!

We met Christine at an open house for our venue. I actually didn't plan on having cake - I really typically don't like cake. I was going to have a huge dessert bar. but my mom wanted to talk to Christine so she could get a free piece of cake! I went with her and nicely tried all the cake so my mom could have some... and oh man! I fell in love with the Vanilla. it was THE BEST cake I'd ever had! The pricing couldn't be beat for the value of a 3 tier cake + grooms cake. So I got the cake AND a small dessert bar. We ended up going to her storefront and trying the Pink Champagne cake and that was even better than the vanilla! on the day of, the cake was gorgeous and tasty. we took so much home and ate it for 2 days straight until we left for our honeymoon. thanks Christine!
