Throughout the months leading to our wedding, Mike really helped us out with selecting the right music choices from walking down the aisle during the ceremony, to the reception. Mike throughout the whole pre- wedding process kept us at ease being available 24/7. Through phone text/messaging and email, Mike is very helpful and thorough with suggesting the right music for our wedding through each segment. On our wedding day, he arrived more than one hour before the start of our ceremony to set up and confirm the music that we requested. Throughout our reception, Mike is an incredible and well gifted MC and DJ. The music he played flowed well for our guests to enjoy. Alongside his awesome personality with his MC skills with directing and keeping them entertained. Everything flowed smoothly because of him. He coordinated well with staff/coordinator/officiant at Europa Winery. Keeping us at ease throughout the whole event. Making our wedding the best night ever! I highly recommend C Squared Events.

When we told our venue Mike was our DJ they told us “perfect, we know everything is going to be right on time” and we didn’t quite know what that meant….until he started to get us organized. From the Ceremony to the Grand Entrance to the First Dance through the Speeches, Mike helped us keep everything moving along on our relatively tight timeline. Then we went to the dance floor. WOW. He somehow mixed in all the songs we had mentioned to him in planning (even some bizarre ones), despite it being a huge variety of genres…and that dancefloor NEVER stopped moving. our first meeting with Mike we could tell he had a chill personality and a great passion and knowledge of music and all things weddings. On our meeting before our wedding, we met with Mike over zoom for over an hour and he made us feel less stressed about the overall wedding planning as he was able to answer questions we had about the timeline, processional order, and song selections for every part of the day. He also did not rush to get off the meeting, he took his time to ensure he understood what we had envisioned for the day and that he would be able to help make sure our wedding vision came to fruition. We also asked him to pick the first and last song of the day and he was excited to do so (spoiler alert, he picked a great one). The day of, working with Mike seemed like working with an old friend. He was very chill and remembered everything we envisioned. He was also a great protector of the timeline and kept things moving and was able to make great suggestions when things started to run late. Mike did an amazing job keeping the guests attention and stepping aside to make sure the attention was on my husband and I. Mike also did a terrific job of reading the room and playing the right songs to keep the most amount of guests dancing and also stuck to our song requests on the do not play list, the must play list, and our favorite genres. Additionally the lighting and photobooth were very professional. Lastly, after our wedding we received numerous compliments for the DJ and dancing. Numerous guests told us this was their favorite wedding and we attribute a lot of that to Mike. In conclusion, TLDR; book with Mike if you want to sleep easy knowing you will have a DJ who will play the songs you and your partner love, songs your guests will love, and who will be a timeline and wedding vision advocate for you. Book with Mike if you want to work with someone who will go above and beyond, not because he has to, but because he wants to. We only spoke once on the phone and we both just knew we would enjoy ourselves. He’s an absolutely fantastic DJ and MC and we truly enjoyed having him apart of our day! Mike asked us some questions to understand what we're looking for in a DJ and at our wedding, and we were able to use an online portal to select the mix of different types of music (ie, 80% hiphop/pop, 10% electric dance, etc.) we wanted played. Our coordinator had us list out songs for different parts of the ceremony and reception, sent it over to Mike, and everything went off without a hitch. We had a blast out on the dance floor, as did our guests!! BTW we had the package with the photo booth and would recommend that as well! Our photos came over via a google drive link not long after the wedding - so fun, tons of great props and a pretty background. Going with C Squared was a great choice - highly recommend!
