I hired Cactus Hair Salon to find my officiant and I had the absolute pleasure to get to know Krena. From the first moment I met her, I knew she’d do myself and my husband right. She showed up on the day (honestly earlier than I expected her to) and helped to ease my nerves and smooth things over with my family. She even offered to mail in my marriage certificate for me so I wouldn’t have to worry about it. She was extremely sweet to my family and listened to me vent and spin my wheels. (General wedding day stress) She even talked to my day of coordinator (long story) and did what she could to smooth things over with that. My family loved her and raved about her. She was truly a rockstar. I wish I hired Cactus Hair Salon for wedding day coordination also. The owner, Krystal, is extremely professional and detail oriented and you can just tell she is passionate about this market and brides in general. I would book them a million times over.

I did a makeup trial prior to booking and knew immediately afterwards that I did not need to continue the search for hair or makeup! Logan listened to my concerns, offered insight and made me feel beautiful at both my make up and later my hair trial. The day of, the girls were so sweet and were able to get hair and makeup finished for 5 of us in under 3 hours! Cactus Hair Salon is affordable, friendly, willing to travel, and made me and my group feel fantastic! I cannot recommend them enough!

Our large traveling hair and makeup team is passionate about collaborating with each of their clients to help them achieve their dream look for their big day. Cactus Salon features a styling portfolio ranging from highly detailed updos to cascading, romantic curls, altered to accentuate the natural beauty of each client. What does Cactus Salon offer you? Cactus Hair Salon offers specialized wedding packages for your special day. These include trial styling sessions where you can work directly with the stylists to refine your ideal dream look. During these sessions, the stylists can also organize a comprehensive styling schedule for your day, ensuring that they can make you over in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Cactus Salon also offers group bookings for your wedding entourage and will travel to your location anywhere in Ohio and even outside of state lines. Cactus Hair Salon announced Day of Wedding Coordination services in 2022. Our Event Manager has over 20 years of service and operations experience ranging from a micro to vast scaled events. Cactus would love to share information about our packages during a FREE 30-minute phone consultation. Early 2023 Cactus Hair Salon partnered with services for an in house non-denominational Officiant as well as a Bartender. Next Cactus added two fleet vehicles for shuttle services and a mobile salon for events and concerts. Want help with an extra glow for your Wedding Day? We also offer certified spray tanning, and should you need any additional services we have an exclusive list of our own preferred vendor recommendations that are tried and true. n did a great job at my trial of creating a hairstyle for me based on my Pinterest board. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted going into the trial, but what she came up with was perfect. On the day of the wedding, Logan and her team started and finished on time and were very professional. Logan did a great job replicating the style she did during the trial. All of my bridesmaids were also happy with the final results. My hair held really well all night and looks beautiful in all of the photos. We thought he was going to get a straight razor shave as advertised in the package, that didn’t happen so his beard didn’t look as nice as he wanted. He also wasn’t very happy with how they styled his hair, and ended up redoing it. Krystal was great with helping plan and helping to make a timeline for the day. But day of things seemed off and some things were forgotten. Overall it was a good experience, and I would absolutely recommend them for hair and makeup.

all the length here are the points to what made this the best decision. 1. Flexibility - ablilty to adjust the amount of people, services, and timing up to a just couple weeks before the wedding. I really benefitted from this as some of my bridal party wasn't sure if they would get their hair/make up done (or be able to attend due to moving) and this made it easy to allow more time before making the decision. 2. One stop shop for all your hair needs - I wanted extensions and a color match prior to the wedding and did it all through the salon 3. Upfront about the cost - before coming in for an extension consultation Krystal was up front about the general cost which was much appreciated to know what I was getting into before arriving, quote was for maximum estimated people, breakdown all costs, and included tip! 4. Punctuality! This team was set up and ready to go 15 minutes before the contracted time even started. Krystal was proactive in reaching out to me and discussing timing off all appointments which helped keep me on track and not overwhelmed! 5. The energy!! Shout out to Bekka & Lexie for making this experience the best! Getting 8 people ready in a short period of time is not an easy task. I couldn't have asked for a better start to the day than having that team take care of me. They were incredibly encouraging and it truly felt like they were celebrating with me!

Not only that, but everyone's hair and makeup stayed perfect the whole day! No one had to touch up or make changes throughout the day. We also utilized the shuttle service. It was so fun and really made the trip to the venue easier than having multiple cars. Krystal is also incredible. She was so easy to plan with and answered all my questions quickly and kindly. Our whole bridal party felt at home with Cactus. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

friend changed my mind and BOY, AM I GLAD SHE DID. Cactus Hair Salon was super communicative leading up to the trial and my wedding. I was asked questions about my style and what I was looking for so that I could be paired with the right person. Jessie did my hair and make-up and I looked like a freaking princess!! It was perfect. I am still looking at pictures from that day, including pictures that Jessie took and I am blown away! She also came to me in Hocking Hills when it was only me getting hair and make-up done which was hard to find. I would definitely recommend anyone getting married, especially in the Hocking Hills area, use Cactus Hair Salon.

ve it 4 stars rather than 5 is just because my makeup artist changed up the way they did my makeup compared to our trial on the day of which through me a little, but they were totally receptive to fixing it for me and meeting my needs. No complaints about my hair at all though! I have super thick and long hair, and my stylist crushed it and did a phenomenal job!

d Cactus Hair Salon, and even more luckily they were available for our date! Huge shout out to Logan, the lead stylist for our day. She kept everyone organized, calm, and finished ahead of schedule! She incorporated my feedback from our trial and my wedding-day hair was better than I imagined! She also suggested hair pins, which really completed the look with elegance and a little pizzaz. My updo stayed in place all night (even survived a bridesmaid getting her bouquet tangled in my hair!). Kenna was our makeup artist and Lexi was our second stylist. Kenna is super sweet and loves natural color palettes, which is just what I wanted for makeup. Kenna, Lexi, and Logan were all professional and friendly, and able to handle different hair types of our wedding party (from very curly and fine and straight). Everyone’s curls held the whole night, even one bridesmaid who in 10 years I have never seen successfully curl her hair. We had 8 hair services and 3 makeup services in just under 3 hours, on-site at the venue. When I was a bit concerned about this timeline ahead of our big day, the owner Krystal was happy to talk this through with me and assuage my fears. She was always available by text or email to answers my questions in the lead-up to our big day. They also offer in-salon wedding services at their Canal Winchester location, which is brand new as of Summer 2021 and so cute inside (this is where my trial was)! I would HIGHLY recommend Cactus Hair Salon and their wedding services!
