Our large traveling hair and makeup team is passionate about collaborating with each of their clients to help them achieve their dream look for their big day. Cactus Salon features a styling portfolio ranging from highly detailed updos to cascading, romantic curls, altered to accentuate the natural beauty of each client.

Cactus Hair Salon offers specialized wedding packages for your special day. These include trial styling sessions where you can work directly with the stylists to refine your ideal dream look. During these sessions, the stylists can also organize a comprehensive styling schedule for your day, ensuring that they can make you over in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Cactus Salon also offers group bookings for your wedding entourage and will travel to your location anywhere in Ohio and even outside of state lines.
Cactus Hair Salon announced Day of Wedding Coordination services in 2022. Our Event Manager has over 20 years of service and operations experience ranging from a micro to vast scaled events. Cactus would love to share information about our packages during a FREE 30-minute phone consultation. Early 2023 Cactus Hair Salon partnered with services for an in house non-denominational Officiant as well as a Bartender. Next Cactus added two fleet vehicles for shuttle services and a mobile salon for events and concerts. Want help with an extra glow for your Wedding Day? We also offer certified spray tanning, and should you need any additional services we have an exclusive list of our own preferred vendor recommendations that are tried and true.

Cactus Hair Salon is available to provide in-studio and on-location hairstyling to weddings throughout the state of Ohio. We used Cactus Hair Salon for our wedding party plus some family members for 18 hair services and 16 makeup services. We got ready at cactus hair salon and it was perfect. Hair team was Erin, Jaz, Maddy and makeup team was Kat, Lexi and Mia.
Everyone looked amazing! On time! Great bridal suit space!
I couldn’t be happier.
Wedding party also received spray tans week of the wedding from shannon along with facials.

Cactus is such an incredible team! It was SO helpful to have them be a "one stop shop" for all things wedding. Krystal was our day of coordinator and I felt so prepared, taken care of, and like I could fully enjoy our day with her by my side. She met with me numerous times before the wedding to talk through absolutely everything. Logan and the hair and make-up team did such a beautiful job with me and my bridesmaids! I booked Cactus Hair Salon for my wedding makeup. As someone who had never had my makeup professionally done I was anxious but Kat nailed it. After the trial they recommended other services and was met with the same satisfaction from their esthetician, Shannon, for a facial, brow tint, and brow wax. On wedding day Kat and Lexi did such an amazing job.
The salon is so welcoming, all the staff are amazing, and Krystal makes sure you have everything in order.

I found cactus through recommendation of another friend who got married last year. After looking through their feed and packages, I quickly booked them. Lexi and Logan and the team were the absolute dream team for my wedding day. They were not only fun and energetic with us early in the morning, but they were professional and quick too! Everyone who got their hair and makeup done had only the highest praises and were so excited to see the final product. Makeup did not move at all even with all my years of joy on the wedding day. And my hair was styled into the late evening of dancing that still looked freshly styled. The team was amazing and I only have the highest compliments for them. I think one of my bridesmaids might be booking them for the future!

Cactus hair Salon did a wonderful job with my bridal hair and makeup and the hair/makeup for my wedding party. They traveled to our getting ready location and were very prompt and professional and got the entire wedding party done early! I absolutely loved my bridal look (they were able to incorporate all of the changes we discussed together after a trial without an issue). Only negative would be that the wedding party's hair didn't stay curled for longer than a few hours (for hair that normally holds curl very well) but my bridal hair stayed all night.

I absolutely loved working with Cactus Hair Salon for my wedding day! They were incredibly flexible with my wishes and schedule, and my stylist, Logan, did a great job listening to my requests and making suggestions. They were easy to communicate with, and were very professional. They were also very cost effective, and one of the only hair salons I could find that was willing to work with smaller parties. I had a great experience with Cactus Hair Salon! I had a trial session with them, which was super helpful in confirming what I wanted out of my makeup and hair. Everyone on the team was super friendly and very skilled. On the day of the wedding, they showed up early to get everything ready to go right on time. Everybody's hair turned out lovely and lasted all day. They were done with plenty of time to spare. I would highly recommend them for your wedding!

Krystal and her team were AMAZING! I found them on Facebook and they traveled down to Athens to do my hair for my big day and 6 of my bridesmaids. I was running around like crazy the morning of and they were so great and flexible and did an incredible job. They fit right in with me and my girls and we had such a great time getting ready. Absolutely loved my experience using Cactus! We had 13 people getting ready and the Dream Team came ready to go and we ended up finishing ahead of schedule which gave us time to chill instead of being crunched on time! I was very anxious the day of my wedding and the dream team was hyping me up the whole time to help calm me down. At my trial I was obsessed with my hair and make up and somehow on my wedding they did even better than I could’ve imagined! I loved my experience all around and would totally recommend! One of the best decisions I made while wedding planning was booking this team for my hair and makeup! I could write multiple paragraphs raving about my experience, but to save you all the length here are the points to what made this the best decision.
1. Flexibility - ablilty to adjust the amount of people, services, and timing up to a just couple weeks before the wedding. I really benefitted from this as some of my bridal party wasn't sure if they would get their hair/make up done (or be able to attend due to moving) and this made it easy to allow more time before making the decision.
2. One stop shop for all your hair needs - I wanted extensions and a color match prior to the wedding and did it all through the salon
3. Upfront about the cost - before coming in for an extension consultation Krystal was up front about the general cost which was much appreciated to know what I was getting into before arriving, quote was for maximum estimated people, breakdown all costs, and included tip!
4. Punctuality! This team was set up and ready to go 15 minutes before the contracted time even started. Krystal was proactive in reaching out to me and discussing timing off all appointments which helped keep me on track and not overwhelmed!
5. The energy!! Shout out to Bekka & Lexie for making this experience the best! Getting 8 people ready in a short period of time is not an easy task. I couldn't have asked for a better start to the day than having that team take care of me. They were incredibly encouraging and it truly felt like they were celebrating with me!

Dream team doesn't even begin to describe the ladies at Cactus. When our bridal party walked in on the morning of my wedding, we were greeted by a team of hair and makeup pros, mimosas, and a platter of sandwiches and fruit. Logan styled my hair and did my makeup and when she was done, I couldn't believe how amazing and beautiful I felt. Not only that, but everyone's hair and makeup stayed perfect the whole day! No one had to touch up or make changes throughout the day.
We also utilized the shuttle service. It was so fun and really made the trip to the venue easier than having multiple cars.
Krystal is also incredible. She was so easy to plan with and answered all my questions quickly and kindly. Our whole bridal party felt at home with Cactus. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

Hired them for me and my bridal party for just hair services and no makeup - everyone loved their hair and they really were easy to work with! Really contributed to a chill morning-of vibe. When I went and did the hair trial, I liked it, but had comments for the day-of. My stylist took my comments and ran with it, and really made my hair exactly what I wanted and it was stunningly gorgeous.
To be honest, they are pricier than I was originally looking for, but after experiencing my entire wedding day, I do not regret it at all - they were worth every penny!

From the beginning Krystal and her team have been amazing!!! I could have not asked for a better group of ladies to do my hair and make up. Logan, Lexi and Kate are all AMAZING!!! They dealt with our silliness in our bridal suite and still did an amazing job. Everyone looked so awesome!! They were on time, set up, did 8 make up and 3 hair and not a thing went wrong. They also came to the venue at 7:45am ready to go and they were outstanding. Becca was my stylist and makeup artist and she killed it. we had a lot of amazing vendors for our wedding day but cactus hair salon was probably my favorite. they got all the hair and makeup done for my bridesmaids and myself quickly and kept us ahead of schedule. everyone looked beautiful and I loved that I still felt like myself by the end of hair and makeup, just enhanced! they were great with feed back and making the adjustments I wanted. Cactus Hair Salon was exactly what I needed to find for my wedding day. Initially I was planning on doing my own hair and make-up because I didn't think it was that important and a friend changed my mind and BOY, AM I GLAD SHE DID. Cactus Hair Salon was super communicative leading up to the trial and my wedding. I was asked questions about my style and what I was looking for so that I could be paired with the right person. Jessie did my hair and make-up and I looked like a freaking princess!! It was perfect. I am still looking at pictures from that day, including pictures that Jessie took and I am blown away! She also came to me in Hocking Hills when it was only me getting hair and make-up done which was hard to find. I would definitely recommend anyone getting married, especially in the Hocking Hills area, use Cactus Hair Salon.

Though they were unavailable to do my wedding party’s hair and make-up (that’s on me looking so late in the midst of COVID reschedules), I have to say Krystal went above and beyond to try to have a team available for our wedding day though many of her team members were booked. I appreciate her efforts and her kindness through the chaos of planning a wedding throughout COVID, and am confident ife= she would have been able to book us, she and her team would have handled our wedding day beautifully- just look at previous reviews and photos! It is no secret that I am funny about my hair. But from the time I booked looked bridal hair and make up for me and my twelve-year-old daughter, I have been going to the salon. They are always so nice and my hair always looks so good when I leave.. They're really knowledgeable about what is going to be good for my hair as well as my hair goals. The day of my wedding, was a dream. And a moment that probably would have been very stressful, Getting ready was a really special time for me and my daughter as well as the girls that were beautifying us defying us. I really enjoyed working with Cactus for wedding hair and makeup. I highly recommend having a trial done at their studio, it’s so cute and the staff is lovely. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is just because my makeup artist changed up the way they did my makeup compared to our trial on the day of which through me a little, but they were totally receptive to fixing it for me and meeting my needs. No complaints about my hair at all though! I have super thick and long hair, and my stylist crushed it and did a phenomenal job!

Every place I called was booked up and unavailable but then I came across cactus hair salon and they were able to fit me in! It was such a relief! I was not on top of booking beauty services for our wedding, and struck out with the few businesses which were commonly recommended on Columbus wedding forums. Luckily, I discovered Cactus Hair Salon, and even more luckily they were available for our date! Huge shout out to Logan, the lead stylist for our day. She kept everyone organized, calm, and finished ahead of schedule! She incorporated my feedback from our trial and my wedding-day hair was better than I imagined! She also suggested hair pins, which really completed the look with elegance and a little pizzaz. My updo stayed in place all night (even survived a bridesmaid getting her bouquet tangled in my hair!). Kenna was our makeup artist and Lexi was our second stylist. Kenna is super sweet and loves natural color palettes, which is just what I wanted for makeup. Kenna, Lexi, and Logan were all professional and friendly, and able to handle different hair types of our wedding party (from very curly and fine and straight). Everyone’s curls held the whole night, even one bridesmaid who in 10 years I have never seen successfully curl her hair. We had 8 hair services and 3 makeup services in just under 3 hours, on-site at the venue. When I was a bit concerned about this timeline ahead of our big day, the owner Krystal was happy to talk this through with me and assuage my fears. She was always available by text or email to answers my questions in the lead-up to our big day. They also offer in-salon wedding services at their Canal Winchester location, which is brand new as of Summer 2021 and so cute inside (this is where my trial was)! I would HIGHLY recommend Cactus Hair Salon and their wedding services!
