We had so many guests compliment the food at our wedding saying it was the best they had ever had! Cafe O’Lei is absolutely delicious you can’t go wrong with their options, we chose a duo plate featuring mahi and filet mignon and it was a hit! If you can go to their restaurant I would also recommend them for dinner! Mahalo!

Cafe O'Lei did the catering for our wedding at Olowalu Plantation House and we could not have been happier with the service and the food! Everything was DELICIOUS!! The appetizers, the main course - just wonderful. Everyone loved the food! Not only that, but the service was perfect. They were so attentive and on top of things. So happy!

The food at my reception was AMAZING! The guests are still talking about how good the food was, especially the Molokai sweet potatoes! The chicken, fish, and steak were all so tender! I really loved the buffet set up - the presentation was so beautiful! Thank you Cafe O' Lei! The next time we come to Maui we are stopping by your Restaurant!

I'm not one to rate food highly very often but Café O'Lei did an amazing job catering my wedding! All of my wedding guests repeatedly told me how great the food was. The coconut shrimp was a huge hit as well as the brie cheese sandwich for appetizers. Most of my guests had the macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi and raved about it. Also, the wait staff were awesome!

Thank you so much for the exceptional service and amazing cuisine that was prepared for our wedding in Maui! We had the braised short ribs(huge yummy serving size which was awesome), macadamia nut crusted chicken (yum), and the salmon (yum again). The appetizers (calamari, hummus, chicken satay) were very appetizing and delicious. All in all, outstanding work all around and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect caterer to help celebrate our wedding day!

My mother and I did a few tastings of caterers on Maui and we were speechless when it came to Café O`Lei because the food was SO GOOD! It was a no brainer picking them as our wedding caterer. The night of the wedding they brought us a tray of appies so that we wouldn't miss out while getting pictures done. It actually poured rain part way through the dinner service and all the staff continued to work through the night passing around our late night snack and running our dessert station (bananas foster; GET THIS DESSERT!). I, myself, am a high-end restaurant server and was blown away by the quality of their food and service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Great food! We had a couple of food allergies and they were able to modify the menu to accommodate. And the best part, since the groom and I were away taking pictures during cocktail hour, they brought us a plate of the appetizers we missed. My only regret from the night, was not eating more of the great food!

Awesome food, great staff, and great service. I really believe that you pay for what you get, so although it is sort of pricey, it was soooo worth it. Everyone is still talking about how good the food was!

The food at my reception was great. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about how great the food was. We paid a extra to substitute the braised short ribs of beef instead of teriyaki beef. That was a great decision, the ribs were great. The service and set-up was also very good. We enjoyed the food so much that we ended up having lunch at the restaurant before we left the island.

Amazing food and service staff for our wedding! We did the buffet style dinner and the chicken/fish/steak were all equally yummy. They were very easy to work with and emailed me with a menu that fit our budget and included all the things we wanted. Our wedding guests included some picky/LA foodies and they all enjoyed the food!

We had Cafe O'Lei for our wedding, and they did a great job of the pupus and supper. The pupus were a GREAT addition to our cocktail reception (our guests really enjoyed them). We had a great selection for supper as well, and our guests were very impressed with the selection and quality of the meal. They were very reasonably priced as well - definitely a great value; costs was per person for pupus and supper. We had 4 meat selections for the buffet. Recommend Cafe O'Lei!

I hired Cafe O'Lei for the catering of my wedding based on reviews and a menu that sounded fantastic. I was not disappointed at all. The food was absolutely beautiful and all the guests raved about it. The appetizers were delicious and the wait staff made sure to save some for myself and my husband. The best part of the dinner was the coconut mango soup. It was served in a martini glass and delicious! I plan to go to the restaurant for dinner on my next visit to Maui!

Guests were ooh'ing and aah'ing over our food at our catered outdoor wedding in Maui at the Olowalu Plantation house near Lahaina. Dana, one of the main chef's was on the ball for our 100 person plated dinner. The food was delicious (we had 4 options for guests: 1. Mahi mahi & Filet Mignon combo; 2. Lamb chops; 3. Macadamia crusted Mahi Mahi; 4. Polynesian Chicken.). Guests absolutely raved about it and said it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had. Dana was easy to work with and provided excellent service. The $150 food trial (that later gets incorporated into the total cost) was well worth it, as the food was abundant and delicious. We would absolutely 100% recommend to those planning a wedding in Maui!! With 2 passed appetizers, an amazing papaya/shrimp salad, the main dish (above) and a dessert buffet, it was competitively priced and worth every penny! - Lisa & Luke

Cafe O'Lei was hand down the best caterers. Their food was hands down THE best food I have ever had in any wedding. Our guests agreed. They left full, yet wanting more food! The staff was great! They were very nice and accommodated our requests amid the chaos of a wedding. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I loved Cafe O'lei! Our wedding dinner was amazing and the service staff did a great job. My husband and I loved the prime rib dinner and the macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi was amazing. They did such a great job on our dinner that we went to the restaurant two separate times during our stay. Best wedding dinner ever:)

Food for our brunch reception was my and my husband's biggest concern because our guests had such a diverse dietary preference- vegetarian, ovo-vegetarian, pescitarian, carnivores, etc. But Cafe O'Lei did a great job accommodating our requests and creating a buffet menu that satisfied everyone. Plus, the foods tasted awesome. All dishes were amazing but the macadamia crusted Mahi Mahi was the best. Everyone at the reception enjoyed the food. Some of our guests even went to Cafe O'Lei for dinner before they left Maui and later told us that it was great.

Hire them! Cafe O'Lei was awesome. From the delicious and huge tasting to the actual wedding this company is extremely professional and their food was incredible. Everyone is still talking about the huge portions and the amazing ribs. Every thing we ate was delicious. The meals came out hot and quickly. The wait staff was attentive and professional. I can not say enough good things about Cafe O'Lei I would plan another party just to have them cater.

The team at Cafe O Lei far exceeded our expectations. We were able to sample the food even though it was a destination wedding and we were so glad we did! Dana and her team provided us samples of all the available courses and offered us suggestions to create the perfect menu. The food was exceptional and all of our guests commented on how good the food was from appetizers all the way through to dessert. We highly recommend the shrimp and papaya salad! The presentation was beautiful and the quality was superb. The staff was able to make accommodation for some of our guests who had dietary restrictions on site. They made sure we, as the bride and groom, were provided with all the courses even if we weren't seated at the table. Even if you don't pick them as your caterer you can try their restaurant at The Dunes..beautiful location and great food! The staff were so attentive, and provided quick and courteous service.

Cafe O'Lei came to a private beach house where we had the ceremony and reception. They set up and made all of the food right there. Everything was perfect.

Alert- outside appearance is deceiving but the food inside is delicious! We ordered the Cafe O'Lei tower and a special flatbread for apps and they were delightful. Every person at the table loved their meal and the ambiance was superb. Low key and elegant.

Choosing a caterer while planning a destination wedding can be super stressful. I didn't know how I was supposed to choose the caterer and the menu without ever tasting the food. We went with Cafe O'Lei and I am sooo glad we did. Not only were they very easy to work with before the wedding (accommodating small menu changes and requests) but our guests couldn't say enough about how good the food was. Get the coconut shrimp appetizer...guests LOVED them! Everything was delicious! We had chicken piccata, filet of beef tenderloin, and macadamia crusted mahi mahi entree options and the passed appetizers were the lettuce wraps, pot stickers, and coconut crusted shrimp. Wouldn't change a thing! The service staff was so professional as well.

Ahi Poke on Crostini, Chicken Skewers, Fruit Skewers, Coconut Prawns OH MY!!! The price was reasonable and the food was out of this world! They have restaurant in Kihei where you can sample the food. Couldn't have been better.

Cafe O Lei was AMAZING!!!! The food far surpassed my hopes and I was so pleased with them. Because they don't do a bar set up themselves, they recommended a woman named Stacey from Bars R' Us and she was PHENOMENAL! I HIGHLY recommend using her for your bar services! Seriously, she was such a pleasure to work with. She's super sweet, was very enthusiastic and excited for my big day. It's obvious she loves what she does and goes the extra mile. Brides, use her! You will love her! She made my wedding planning such a breeze. I wish all vendors were as easy going as Stacey. She is a GEM! As for Cafe o Lei, I was debating between using them and another caterer who I also heard great things about but I am so glad I went with them! They are totally reasonably priced and they were easy to work with. We had a plated menu with choice of filet mignon or macadamia crusted mahi mahi. Both entrees were super delicious! The service was great and they are total pros. In the end, I am so glad I went with Cafe O Lei!

Not only was the food delicious, the costumer service was great. I get comments to this day about how great the food was at our wedding. They went above and beyond to make our day perfect.

We had many issues!! - Everyone (except the bride and groom) loved their food. The prices online are much lower than when you are actually in the restaurant. They did allow us to get seated faster (even though our reservations were for a later time). Our overall bill (for 14 people) was around $500.

Cafe O'Lei catered my wedding, and I thought the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. For appetizers, we had the spring rolls, crab cakes and lettuce wraps, along with the cheese selection, which were all a huge hit with the guests (and I tried on of each, and they were all delicious!). For dinner, we had a buffet including two salads, sushi, chicken, sirloin, shrimp and mahi mahi. Our guest raved about the salads, the freshness of the sushi, and the shrimp and mahi mahi. I also tried the chicken and the sirloin which were good as well, although the seafood was definitely the star of the evening. Cafe O'Lei did an excellent job, and were very reasonably priced, so I would highly recommend them!

The food was great, the presentation was wonderfull and the staff was attentive and curtious. They made sure everything was perfect!

Wow is all I can say about Cafe O'Lei. We had the most wonderful food ever. Cafe O'Lei provided a sushi chef for appitizers and provided all the food and wait staff. They are very professional and easy to work with. Food was plentiful and presentation was amazing. I am so glad we chose them for our Maui wedding. They even made a special menue up just for us. Guests raved about the food.

The menu was the most varied of all the caterers we interviewed. Service was excellent and it was easy to work with Dana and Molly.

I did a tasting with Cafe O Lei before I hired them out at their restaurant at the golf course. The food was amazing! On the day of the wedding, the staff were super friendly and very efficient in setting up. We chose a plated meal and guests chose between braised short ribs or macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi. We didn't get to eat when the meal was served because we were taking pictures and when we finally got to eat...our meals were lukewarm. I got the ribs and they were absolutely delicious. Probably the best ribs I have ever had. Our guests raved about them too. The fish was not as impressive....just average. The salad was really good from what I can remember. I would probably use them again, just pick something different instead of getting the fish.
