About this vendor
Located in the Historic Continental Gin Complex in Birmingham, Alabama, the Barrel Room at Cahaba Brewery is a 3000 sq. ft. private room that is located off of our main taproom. Inside this room you will find original brick walls, beautiful exposed rafter ceilings and a large wall of barrels housing our very own beer! This room can be fully customized to fit any event.

ected us with our DJ. The Cahaba staff flipped our ceremony set-up to our reception set-up. We were able to use their office space to get away to eat in between while our guests got a drink. They also let us use a big fridge for our cake. The biggest potential downside is that they do not have a prep room for a caterer - we had pizzas so it wasn't an issue for us. They do have a food truck that does catering available to use as well.

was great to work with. Being from out of town, we knew no one and she recommended our DJ (Ryan), and our caterer (Happy Catering) who were both great! She provided a floorplan for us to review and allowed us to make changes as we needed. She was extremely flexible in our setup process and so easy to work with through the entire event! We would highly recommend Anna and the Team at Cahaba for any event !!!

anized, AND she was amazingly understanding and flexible when we had to reschedule due to COVID. Besides the amazing people who work there, the venue itself is beautiful! We were in the barrel room, which allows use to have privacy but still have that comfortable brewery atmosphere. It was the absolute perfect space for us. We were concerned about close gatherings and air flow, but we were able to spread out 50 people easily, and with the large doors open, we had plenty of openness and air flow. The small stage was perfect for our guests as they gave speeches and with the mic they provided, there was no issue hearing speakers, even with the bar next door. We had our own bar (we got to choose what beers, wine, and liquor we provided to guests) and bartenders, who were amazing. They even helped us clean up at the end of the night, totally unprompted! I would definitely recommend this space to any who is looking to host a event, whether it is a more casual gathering, or a special evening like a rehearsal dinner!
