Cain's Cove on Lake Nasworthy

We booked this venue for our wedding in March. The automatic hand dryers were broken and we had to buy paper towels to use instead- which Chris should have bought for us. The venue was still dirty when we started to set up. There were drinks still in the fridges that we had to clean. The chairs are all different- some small some bigger. Almost 10 tables were not able to be used as we needed because they were broken when Chris told us we had enough tables for 200 people and that wasn’t the case. He kept asking us if we wanted to buy lights from him and after many attempts of saying no, he wouldn’t stop asking. The day of the wedding none of the heaters worked and after asking him to come fix it or check it out he took over 2 hours to get there. Then the kitchen breaker went off and we had to call him for that too and it took forever to get fixed and the wedding was started soon. Everything was not how he said it would be and we were very upset about it. After all that money we spent on the venue it wasn’t nearly how he said it would be. We didn’t even get some money back for all the troubles we had! I would not recommend going here you can’t ever get in touch with Chris. We had to leave to get to our honeymoon and he wouldn’t even answer to give the key back! Very very rude and not helpful at all! We are some of the easiest people to deal with and we got ignored many times and it’s very rude and unprofessional!!

Cain's Cove is the perfect place to have a wedding. My son and his new wife used it this past weekend and it was all we expected it to be. There is a beautiful view of Lake Nasworthy and a gazebo that sits right by the water that is perfect for photos. It was just the right size for the 200 plus guests we had attending. Mr. Cain was very easy to work with. That in itself always makes wedding planning so much better. We highly recommend this place!!

I have attended several weddings at Cain's Cove, over the years. The grounds and venue with the large patio overlooking the water are always beautiful and well maintained. I recently became a wedding officiant, this venue is one of my favorites. Definitely needs to be the place if your planning a wedding.

We held our daughter's wedding at The Hideout. It was perfect! And the wedding being in October was great for the outdoor wedding my daughter wanted. Beautiful place and Chris is very easy to work with. Thank you again for making my daughter's wedding such a special experience. Definitely recommend The Hideout or Cain's Cove for your next event.
