We did our engagement photos with her and, as someone who isn’t the best at communicating the ideas in their head, Cait understood my vision completely and I was blown away by the quality of our photos. And our actual wedding photos were insanely gorgeous!! In fact, her photos were so good the designer of my dress reached out and wanted to post Cait’s photos! For our wedding, Cait did such an amazing job at coordinating with our videographer, and she was so amazing at getting every shot and detail we wanted and communicated to her. She did all of the classic poses, including the classic photos of me smiling with my husband while holding my bouquet, AND we also have the most artistic, classic, and downright exquisite portraits I’ve seen. Communication was everything. You want photos focusing on the shoes? You got it. You want photos frolicking in a field in the rain? No problem. Have a special family member you want plenty of shots of? Cait will give you photos of them that could hang in the Louvre. Cait truly makes you feel like you’re the only client in the world that matters and each photo is taken with such care. My album made me sob. There’s not one single photo I don’t like, and I usually hate photos of myself. I want to especially commend Cait on her patience and ability to stick to a timeline. Never once did she make me feel like I was a burden or that my ideas wouldn’t work. Even when I texted Cait that I was extremely concerned about the weather for our outdoor ceremony, she reassured me that she’s handled bad weather before and could still make my vision come true. When we had to do the family portraits inside in a tight room at the venue, Cait masterfully and quickly set up an amazing space for us with professional lighting like it was no problem at all and the pictures are even better than what I envisioned! I thought getting my family through the group pictures would be like herding cats, but Cait was so incredible at getting the family together and through the pictures that there was plenty of time for the family to enjoy the cocktail hour! I’ve been in a number of weddings and I’ve never seen family portraits done as efficiently as Cait did ours. I trusted Cait completely and boy did it pay off. All of my friends who have seen our photos are blown away. I got several quotes from other photographers when I was initially shopping around, and many were more pricey but their work didn’t speak to me. Cait is worth every single cent she charges, and probably more. She belongs in magazines across the world, frankly. If you’re looking for a photographer you can trust, who’s true to her work, and produces incredible art you’ll treasure for the rest of your life, you’ll be in the best of hands with Cait.

lly, and the sneak peek wedding photos were very high quality and stunning. However, the full wedding gallery was inconsistent in quality and, in many places, disappointing - especially considering the premium price point. My bridal portraits lacked variety, and so did our couple portraits. Many images also included unflattering angles or expressions - photos with my eyes mid-blink or mouth mid-sentence - that I wouldn’t expect to see in a final gallery. Some requests that we had previously agreed upon weren’t met, and I would have really appreciated communication and attention to detail when it came to this. To my surprise, there were no standard portraits of me and my husband simply smiling with my bouquet - something I would have expected as a basic part of any wedding gallery. When I noticed this, I asked Cait if she could double check to see if this shot existed. She offered to connect over Zoom, but I opted to continue the conversation by email so I could better keep track of everything we had discussed. Unfortunately, that didn’t lead to any meaningful communication. Then, without consent, I found an unpleasant photoshopped picture of my husband and I added to the gallery with a large portion of my dress missing and inaccurate body parts (my arm). We were never asked or informed about this, and it made us feel deeply uncomfortable. In our consultation meetings, we agreed on edits and touch-ups such as skin smoothing, removing background exit signs/wall outlets, fixing any skin blemishes etc, but we never discussed removing people out of pictures or photoshopping my dress or body in this way. Up until receiving the full wedding gallery, my experience had been truly wonderful - so it was confusing and disheartening to feel let down at such a meaningful point in the process. If I was just rating the engagement shoot, I would give 5 stars, but this rating is also reflecting the quality of the wedding gallery and how things were handled. I wish our wedding gallery was given as much attention as our engagement shoot and highlight photos. Overall, better communication and accountability would have gone a long way.

ll the perfect wedding vendors. I came upon Cait on instagram and was immediately enamored by her photography. We spoke with other photographers and viewed their work, but we kept coming back to Cait. There was just something special about her. Her photography is artwork. She captures the real, genuine moments, not just the posed "instagram" moments. She even uses film in her shoots, which adds such a fun effect to pictures. She has an eye for most perfect setting, background, position, activity, etc. On top of her amazing artistry, she is also one of the sweetest human beings. We clicked with her immediately. From the moment we spoke with her over Zoom, to our engagement shoot, to our eventual wedding, we had such a fun time with her. My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, and she made us feel at such ease and even made us have fun. There were even moments on my wedding day where just her presence was calming and just what I needed at the time. She is a GEM of a person.
