details for her wedding and reception was executed perfectly and without a glitch; but there is no mention in this complaint. CONFIRM DETAILS - We are wedding planners; we confirm the fine details 3 times and we send reminder emails when it's time to do things; which most brides appreciate. We never forgot anything; we just confirmed. EMPLOYEE TURN OVER - There is no turn over in personnel at the venue; we have 3 wedding planners and an assistant on staff. She was assigned to one of the Wedding planners and was asked to put their direct cell phone number in her contacts. She even had the owners direct number, but she kept calling the answering service. We are incredibly organized, have systems in place and rarely make mistakes. SPECIAL ALCOHOL - She's complaining about special alcohol for the bride and groom to drink at their reception that was not billed until 30 days before the wedding. We never bill for these specialty items until then because many couples change their mind; we asked if she still wanted it and billed for it. Somehow this was stressful for her, had we known we could of absolutely billed her earlier. BOOKING ISSUE - My assistant was playing telephone tag with one of her bridesmaids because she wanted to book a bedroom suite at the venue. But each time my assistant reached her, the bridesmaid didn't have her credit card to charge for the room. Don't know why is this affecting the bride? CAPTAIN EATS CAKE - She's accusing my Captain of eating a piece of grooms cake. Simply put, my employees are not allowed to eat while they are working an event. Additionally, my Captain is a professional and leads by example. Although I did address it with my Captain to verify what went on, I am not sure what else to do. DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING - We never got a text from the bride asking about any parade problems. Although there were no parade problems, we wish she could of gotten through to us. I had no idea and I am not sure how this can be avoided in the future. She had her wedding planners cell and the owners cell numbers and no text came through. To sum all this up, I think this bride had more stress she was dealing with besides her wedding. Knowing this is a stressful time for most brides, we are sensitive to their needs. Because we over deliver, we even shop for them and run errands when needed. We were not aware of any issues. We even provided a concierge the night of her wedding, but each time the concierge entered the dressing suite, she was not welcomed. The concierge is there to handle last minute problems, be there for support, serve drinks, determines how the dress is bustled and many other things.
