o she made us a GF cake top layer to freeze for our one year! We got so many compliments on our cake on how beautiful and delicious it was! Dawn is very talented and adjusts with curve-balls thrown at her. Our flowers were misplaced for the cake and she had brought extras with her and made it look beautiful. She is a cake-artist and I'd trust her any day!

We were supposed to serve the leftover cake at our gift opening the next morning, but the entire cake was gone. We don't think we can wait until our anniversary to have this cake again, so we'll be looking for an excuse soon to order some cupcakes from Cake Anatomy :)

t seem to be an issue. We advised Dawn that we wouldn't be having a cake topper and that she could have our design come up overtop the cake. This didn't happen and made the cake look somewhat empty. There truly is no one that can beat her flavors and taste of the cake; however we were disappointed in the overall design. Furthermore, we initially signed the contract for a certain size cake due to the guests we were inviting. When we started to realize around 1 month before the wedding that our guest list would be significantly smaller than thought we were not able to change the size of our cake at that time. We were told any changes had to be made no later than the 3 month mark. At that point we hadn't even sent out our invitations. That was disappointing to know that their policies were not customer centric.

On our wedding day I was very happy with the appearance of our cake! It was beautiful and looked exactly as I had envisioned! All the flavors in our cake tasted delicious and we got many compliments. Dawn made our frosting look like fondant which was awesome because it tasted great and was affordable! You couldn't even tell it was not fondant by its appearance. I would recommend Cake Anatomy to all of my friends getting married. So glad I choose Cake Anatomy.

You won't get a fresher, tastier cake anywhere. She makes her own buttercream fondant. I'm drooling typing this.

They even drove from Kaukauna to Green Bay the day after a snowstorm to deliver the cupcakes and did it on time. My mom and I went to a wedding show in the Green Bay area about a year before the wedding and sampled every single wedding cake we could- Cake Anatomy was definitely the best! I definitely recommend them!

ed me. I went to the wedding show at the PAC and didnt see her there. I knew deep down if I didn't go talk to her at least, I would regret it. Well, I was at the shop for 45 minutes talking. I had go to other places and was in and out in 15 minutes. The fact she sat there with me for that long was more than enough reason for me to use her services! Dawn is SO talented!!! Her cakes are SO delicious! She doesnt use fondant but makes her buttercream smooth like it. And the CAKE!!! We will be going back to her in the future for birthday cakes, anniversary cakes, and so forth. She makes you feel so comfortable! She also did a grooms cake for us and it was AMAZING! My husband was shocked!!! and loved it! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Dawn was able to create my dream wedding cake. We’ve heard nothing but great feedback from our guest about how wonderful our wedding cake looked and tasted. Anyone looking for a baker for their wedding must call Cake Anatomy Dawn is well worth every penny.

xpected considering the price of the cake. We did go in and have a cake tasting, which we did have to pay for. They have TONS of flavors and their buttercream frosting is awesome! I did really like the taste and variety of flavors! If you're going for taste alone, you should consider Cake Anatomy! However, when I met them the 2nd time to go over details, I showed them what I was looking for...the look of ribbon going around the bottom of each layer with a bow and rhinestone accents. They ask that I go get the ribbon, which was not a big deal. Our colors were navy and orange. She told me to get a royal blue ribbon because the cake would make it appear darker once it got moisture from the frosting. Looking at the cake once delivered, however, it was royal blue. I am not sure anyone noticed, but it was not what I had asked for. In addition, they had said that they would provide tulle and white lights for the cake table. It did have tulle, however, there were no white lights on the cake table. This would have added some sparkle to the dark reception hall. Finally, they apparently brought a list of items that had to be returned to them, however, they did not give this to me. I am not sure who they dropped it off with, however, we did not see it until we were unpacking back home...2 hours away. They did allow me to mail the items back to them, but this was at my cost. The list also asked that we return tulle and white lights. Since I had white lights on other tables, I sent them a set back. After looking at pictures, I realized they never included them on the table. Therefore, I had sent them a set of my lights that I had paid for. Again, none of these are big issues, however, considering the cost of the simple cake (no embellishments other than the ribbon and a sparkly broach), I would not have expected it.
