Cake Art

We had a beautiful and delicious high end wedding cake made by Cake Art in Salisbury, MD. It was a small two tier cake serving 11 people and they made it exactly like the photo we provided. We had a flat tire on the way to Salisbury from NY and had to stop by a tire shop which delayed our ability to pick up the cake in time. By the time we got to Salisbury, the Cake Art shop had closed and the employees were out doing deliveries for other weddings and events. Susan, the shop's owner or manager, was amazing and she arranged for one of her employees to open the shop for us upon our arrival so that we can have our cake in time for our wedding the next day. We were very pleased with this vendor and highly recommend them for their skills and professional conduct and reliability.

We went to a bridal expo and immediately knew that Cake Art absolutely HAD to do our wedding cake - their cake was so moist and the pairings were divine! We went to our cake tasting appointment, and everything was very organized and honestly we could not pick a favorite - we fell in love with their European buttercream! We showed a picture of our inspiration and they quickly drew up a sketch for us. Unfortunately, we had to replan our wedding in another state due to coronavirus and could no longer use Cake Art for our cake. We just kept saying we were most disappointed that we would miss out on this amazing cake! Cake Art was very understanding with our situation and handled the pandemic with elegance. 10/10 would recommend!

She was able to take my all my pictures and ideas and turn them into exactly what I wanted and everything tasted AMAZING too!!! The cake was beautiful and the touch of gold dust sparkled in the candlelight - it was so perfect!

Cake Art has the best flavors, I even ordered a birthday cake for rehearsal to surprise my groom

We asked Susan for a special sweetheart cake and it was great. We had 4 different types of cupcakes for our guests and each were fantastic! Super moist cake and cupcakes. Will only go to Susan from now on!

Susan with Cake Art did an amazing job with our wedding cake and cupcakes. She even, was able to add some extras that we needed a few weeks ahead of time. Her cakes were moist and delicious! Definitely check out the pink champagne cupcakes! So good!

Susan was great! She was very friendly and professional. We got exactly what we wanted from her. She was even nice enough to add our artificial flowers at pick up. The cake was delicious! Everyone loved it! I would definitely recommend Cake Art!!!

The staff was super friendly and open to exactly what I wanted. The cake flavors were amazing, and tasted perfect at both the tasting and for our wedding cake. They made us a beautiful, 3-tired piped buttercream cake with Oreo, champagne, and strawberry and everyone loved it at the reception and wanted to know where we had gotten it from. Customer service was perfect, we will definitely be using them for all of our future bakery and cake needs, and we already find it hard to not stop in for cupcakes! Highly recommend for wedding cakes or special event cakes, you won’t be disappointed.

The only bakery willing to accommodate my severe dairy allergy to create the wedding cake of our dreams. Susan is fantastic to work with and our cake was not only beautiful, but absolutely delicious as well. We had a three-tiered champagne cake, 2 layers filled with raspberry and 1 layer filled with orange crème. Absolutely fantastic.

Susan was easy to work with since our initial meeting. Our four tier cake came out absolutely gorgeous! She brought to life exactly what we discussed in person and in email communication and our cake really did mirror the picture we provided her. I cannot say enough how delicious our cake was! People have all told us that it was THE best testing wedding cake they have ever had. I would agree! Our bottom tier was a delicious champagne cake with fresh strawberries and pink champagne icing filling....yes it was as amazing as it sounds! We also then offered a tier of red velvet and cream cheese filling and chocolate cake with hazelnut filling. Those were delicious as well! We cannot thank Susan enough for making our cake as stunning and delicious as it was! Would highly recommend Cake Art to anyone for having the best cake ever! Susan was so reasonably priced as well and offered discounts during different times of the year to brides. Whatever event we have next in our future, I am going to book Susan immediately!!!

this has to be hands down the best cake i have ever eaten! the frosting alone is amazing and not gritty or to sweet! she helped a ton with making sure me and him were both pleased!

Cake Art did a fabulous job with my wedding cake! They created a small cake on top then had tiered cupcakes underneath. The cake and cupcakes looked wonderful and tasted great! All my guests loved the frosting!

We used Susan and Cake Art for our wedding cake. She immediately scheduled a complimentary tasting, where we tasted so many flavors and choices. Susan is very cheerful, witty, and definitely has a great sense of humor. The cake turned out amazing, the level of detail was phenomenal and we were very pleased with the way the cake turned out. The cake tended to be a bit pricey, which is the only thing bad about the review, and we were confused if delivery was included in our total, but other than that we highly recommend Cake Art!

Susan created a cake that was exactly what I wanted, look and flavors. I had tons of complements on how good the cake tasted. Susan also made us chocholate covered straberries and eclairs that were so good. I highly recommend Cake Art!

What more can you want from a cake? It was gorgeous & delicious & exactly what we asked for! The biggest con with this vendor was our initial meeting. My mom specifically said we wanted to taste the white cake, and that was not an option at the tasting. The vendor seemed very annoyed that I didn't have an idea in mind for how the cake should look. I guess lots of brides care a lot about this - I was going to leave it to the vendor for recommendations. Ultimately I am very pleased with the cake itself, but it did dampen my spirits a little to have such a negative response. I would think the vendor would be excited to give recommendations (like our florist was, for example). But, the cake was gorgeous, on time, and delicious - that's what matters most!

Our wedding cake was not only extremely beautiful (shabby chic) but it also tasted soooo good!! I could not be happier about the service we received from Cake Art. I will be certain to order any future cakes from this cake shop.

Edit Review Susan was wonderful to work with. We changed designs during our planning and Susan was more than accommodating. She was able to create what we said we wanted our cake to look like...both times. Her culinary ability along with her artistic ability make her cakes (and cupcakes) an asset to an event! Our guests raved about the flavor and taste of her cake and some people even asked for her information for their own events. I would highly reccomend Susan at Cake Art in Salisbury MD!!!

We designed the cake and she made it come to life. It looked great and tasted amazing. Everyone loved the cake and came back for more. We still go to her for cupcakes and we recommended her to all of our friends so we could have her cake again at their wedding!
