Cake Pops Boston

My husband and I had a cocktail reception, rather than a sit-down meal, so we wanted a dessert that didn't require plates and forks. Cake pops were the solution! These were adorable, and a big hit with our guests. They have a variety of flavors, can decorate in any color, and will customize the decorations to your design theme (although the more complex your design, the more the price per pop will go up). I built my own display stand, and the final effect was pretty fabulous, and super fun. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because I couldn't personally taste them; I am gluten intolerant, so cake is off limits for me. Cake Pops Boston does offer two flavors of gluten-free pops, but they work out of a shared kitchen, so they can't offer an allergy-free guarantee. They would probably be safe for someone with mild sensitivity to gluten, but I wouldn't trust them for anyone with full-blown celiac disease. So I am basing my review for taste on the feedback from my guests, some of whom claimed they were going to give up regular cake in favor of cake pops from now on. The bakers were responsive and friendly, and accommodated my request for a last-minute change in the pick-up time. High marks from my guests for taste, high marks from me for service and sheer cuteness. I'm likely to order from them again for other parties. I recommend!
