Cake Whimzy

My wedding was in October and our cake was beautiful! Alicia was very easy to work with and created custom flavors for us based on our preference. I was very picky about our cake and didn't want to have a generic "grocery store" cake. It was well worth it.

Cake Whimzy was wonderful to work with! I will admit we got a deal on our cakes (wedding and grooms cakes) because they work with our caterer but they are still extremely reasonably priced and our wedding cake and grooms cake were VERY good! The grooms cake was a Mizzou Football Helmet that turned out to be such a hit at the wedding. Cake Whimzy executed exactly what we wanted and the cakes were everything we evisioned!

I really enjoyed working with Alicia to plan the bride and groom cake and the dessert buffet. Alicia was so genuine and nice! The cake was delicious and the dessert buffet was amazing! All the mini desserts on the buffet were so good! I highly recommend Cake Whimzy to any bride!

I don't remember how I found the ladies behind Cake Whimzy, but I'm glad I did. Not only are they bakers, they are artists! My ideas came to life! We had different flavored centerpiece cakes on each reception table--all a different flavor, and everybody loved it! Our bridal cake was perfect, from the first pictures I showed on our very first meeting, to our minds coming together and creating a perfect three-tiered round cake covered in fondant and ombree shades of sugar flowers cascading down. My husband especially loved his custom-made groomscake, made with a bottle of espresso stout. This is the wedding cake vendor to use in the Kansas City area!!!!
