Cake-Aholics Bakery did our daughter’s wedding cake and the grooms cake. Matthew did an awesome job! The grooms cake was spot on! Both cakes were flavorful and moist! We would highly recommend Cake-Aholics for your wedding needs especially if you need a specialty grooms cake!

We ordered our wedding cake from Cake-Aholics after a ton of frustration in trying to find a baker for a Monday wedding. We were put at ease during our tasting when each flavor was exceptional. Matthew was so kind during the tasting and worked our vision out beautifully. We did two flavors (white and blackberry and Oreo) and both received rave reviews from our guests! My wife even said, audibly, "it's so good" during the cake cutting. I can't thank them enough for not only making the cake, but also delivering it, for our Monday wedding.

The fiancée and I went to several wedding cake tastings before Matt blew us away at Cakeaholics! We knew this was the one! The cake flavor was excellent and of course Matt is so creative if you have something unique in mind, he can make it happen. Delivery on the day of was on point. I also ordered hundreds of Christmas cookies, a batch of pralines, tarts, and gluten free cupcakes from Cakeaholics and everything was fantastic. I felt confident anything Cakeaholics baked would come out the best possible version of what I pictured. Everyone loved our wedding cake and someone commented they would be thinking about it for a long time :) We will too. Our top layer might not make it to one year :)

They did an amazing job! I have never seen such beautiful cakes, all my guests would not stop talking about them! Not only were they beautiful, they were also delicious.

We were the planners for our client's wedding on March 12th and had the pleasure of working with Cake-aholics Bakery! Their cake was so delicious, all guests raved! They were punctual and great with communication! We definitely hope to work with them again!

Cake-Aholics Bakery was the third bakery we visited on our mission to find the perfect wedding cake and dessert bar. This cake was hands-down the best, the options were limitless, and the customer service was wonderful! The price was also very fair in comparison to the other bakeries we visited. We ordered way more dessert than was necessary for 130 guests thinking that we could let guests take home extras as favors, but the dessert table was wiped clean by the end of the night. The guests loved it!

Booking Cake-aholics was a great experience all around!! At the tasting we tried a ton of different flavors that were all so good and moist. We ended up doing 2 flavors (snickerdoodle and blackberry). They even made my mom a small gluten free cake too! Instead of using real flowers on the cake, I wanted pallet knife/icing flowers and it turned out fantastic!!! Can’t recommend them enough!!

This bakery is amazing! We weren't very specific on what we wanted, brought a few photos of the aesthetic we like and Matt was able to take all those and come up with the perfect wedding cake and cupcakes for us. The cake was amazing, light, not too sweet, everything we were hoping for.

It was an easy decision for us to work with Cake-aholics! They were so pleasant, accommodating and friendly! They made a custom flavor cake for us and were patient with me as I went back and forth on what I wanted the cake to look like, what I wanted on the cake, etc. Our guests enjoyed the dessert table so much we didn’t get to bring anything home, by the time I was able to get back to the dessert table everything was gone! When returning the stands we bought some of their desserts to try since we didn’t get the chance and all I can say is they have a customer for life!! Thank you so much, Cake-aholics!

I wanted a croquembouche for our wedding cake, and Cake-Aholics was one of the few places in DFW that could do it. We were impressed as soon as we did a tasting, and our croquembouche plus our groom's cake turned out incredible, and our guests loved them!

Cake-Aholics created the wedding cake of our dreams and also created a dessert bar for our wedding. The entire set up turned out so beautiful and everyone RAVED about how great everything tasted. The entire team at Cake-Aholics made the process of designing and ordering our wedding cake and dessert bar so easy and were so kind! We frequently visit the bakery for every day treats and we will definitely be using them for every cake we need in the future!

Horrible ! Y’all need to learn what some customer service etiquette! I called this afternoon to order the cake. It was my very first time trying to order a cake at this place , All I asked was what kind of cake they had , which was a simple questions, asked very politely! never in my life had I experienced this kind of rude behavior. The lady just literally in a very loud voice started with “ agh Oh my GOD” following with speaking in a very loud / rude and slow motion ( like literally a V-E-R-Y, slow motion) told me that she has 11” and an 18” cake and what do I WANT” ! When I confontered her again in a very polite manner “ mam, I think that was really rude” instead of apologizing hung up on me ! Like seriously? Is this how you all treat you customers? Very unprofessional, all I wanted to know was they kind of cake do they offer so that I could order it ? I normally do not do bad reviews but this was way out of the line! The lady who answered the call today ( 2-4pm) really needs to learn to put aside her personal issues! I will NEVER go to this place again! No one deserves this kind of behavior! No one !

The cake was not only delicious but truly beautiful too! Matthew was a pleasure to work with as were the rest of the staff. We had two flavors for our cake (the blackberry mousse is to DIE for!!) and wanted to do something fun since our wedding was right before Christmas. Matthew was willing to brainstorm and create a custom flavor for us, but we went with their seasonal gingerbread flavor. It was so good! And due to the pandemic, we ended up with a much smaller guest count so they brought extra cake boxes for our guests to take cake home with them.

I booked with this bakery pre COVID for my wedding that was supposed to be June of 2020. Due to COVID I did my first postponement with them and told them my wedding would be in August, thinking things would be better by then. When we came to realize thinfs were still Bad and COVID wasn’t going away like we initially thought in April that August would be good we switched it to the year of 2021. I ended up telling them May 2021 and made some changes to the cake, and even with that it was handled side handedly rude but I let it go and kept forward. Unfortunately things changed and cancelled because of COVID and I called them in January 2021 to notify them and ask for a refund. I understand a deposit is a deposit but In uncertain times and the original date being over 100 days away, it is unfair to steal ones money. ON TOP OF THAT I asked if I could transfer that deposit as credit and use for any other event or date and they also said NO to that. I understand business and deposits being to secure a date but STEALING a high amount of money during a PANDEMIC is also not okay or professional. I hope they enjoy that stolen money for a date so far out. I will be giving them awful review on my experience to everyone I know because if this was not COVID pandemic times I’d understand. If this was $100 or less I’d understand. But stealing ones money is NOT OKAY with a 4 month advance notice.

Excellent! Matthew was lovely to work with, and made our vision of a Death Star cake come to life. The cake was absolutely delicious, and our guests loved the realistic design.

FAN-freaking-ZASTIC!! My bride cake and groom cake turned out amazing and SO YUMMY! They both looked spot-on with what I asked for. I could not have asked for any better quality and flavor.

AMAZING LOOK AND TASTE!!! My husband and I kept getting recommendations to hire cake-aholics bakery and am so glad we did!! They are efficient and the best of the best when it comes to design and actual taste! Our cake had the luxury of being two flavors, multiple tiers, ahhh! I am getting hungry just thinking about how yummy it was!

Matthew has done several cakes for me, so I knew he’d be the guy to do our wedding cake! He did amazing!!! Everyone loved the amazing design and the great taste. His cakes are budget friendly and so good to eat! We appreciate this amazing bakery!

Our cake was incredible! Matthew was extremely responsive and patient with all of our back and forth. My only regret was not getting to take home more cake!

Matthew is ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY AMAZING! I have worked with the wonderful baker on numerous occasions and the work is exceptional. He is so nice and précised with his work. Every cake I have tasted has been exceptional and is always a crowd pleaser at every event. I highly recommend as you won’t regret it!!!

Delicious cupcakes! We had 3 different flavors - cookies and cream, snickerdoodle, and lavender and honey. All were excellent and our guests loved them!

I've been a customer here for a few years now and have gotten multiple cakes from them but the way I was treated by the manager Alicia in light of this Covid-19 stuff going around is ridiculous. When I was first contacted and told I could not get a refund or post pone the cake because they had already ices it I told them to stop decorating it and I would pay for the rounds and what was done. Every subsequent call after that the cake was more complete. Not once did she allow me to speak with Matthew the owner which is who I've done business with. I told her I preferred his customer service to whatever she was doing and she told me "well that's fantastic but you're not going to talk to him". Not once did I cuss at her or call her name's. She hung up on me multiple times, told me I wasn't any different from the 100's of other brides that were getting cakes. She never once apologized for the inconvenience of their cancellation policy and was absolutely not empathetic. She literally blamed me for ordering the cake in the first place and for coming in a week ago to finish paying my deposit. She told me she would absolutely not refund me and I could come get the cake or not. Seeing as she completed the decorations even though I told her to stop I ended up picking the cake up regardless. And even then the cake wasn't what we ordered. This cake was for a 3rd bday which is a huge thing in Hispanic culture and it was missing the 3! I was planning on getting a quince cake though them as well seeing as I got a few weddings cakes with them but after how horribly the manager treated me I will no longer be doing business with cakeaholics. It's a shame that the owner who is honestly such a pleasant person has chosen to be represented by such a horrible customer service rep.

I thought the cake was the best I'd ever tasted, but the real testament to how delicious Cake-Aholics cakes are is that at the end of the night, we had less than 5 pieces of cake left (and our cake had more than enough servings to feed our guest count). Everyone asked me where I got the cake from. People were sneaking second pieces left and right (hence the minimal leftovers). Not only was the cake indescribably delicious and beautiful, but Cake-Aholics was great to work with! The cake was well-priced and delivered to the venue on time and without issue. Highly recommended!

Our wedding cake was so amazing! Matthew made the tasting process super easy and perfectly brought to life what I had envisioned. Our cake tasted delicious and all of our guests told us how much they enjoyed it too! I definitely recommend Matthew and Cake-Aholics!

Great design on the cake and solid work on a few flavors of cupcakes. Price and service made the choice a no-brainier. Ask about their sweet potato pie cupcake.

Matthew's cakes and deserts are absolutely delicious! Not only do they taste wonderful, they look AMAZING. The execution of the designs we wanted turned our perfectly. They even bake dog treats that we were able to have for our pups on our wedding day!

Absolutely delicious! It was so hard to select just three of the amazing cake flavors they offer at Cake-Aholics! Our 3-tier wedding cake was perfect. What we loved about the cake was that it was not too rich or heavy. It's light yet has just the right amount of sweet! We really enjoyed the whole experience, from the cake tasting to the fully size cake. We will definitely be ordering another cake in the future. P.S. their cupcakes are also amazing!

Matthew and his team we so easy to work with and their cake was DELICIOUS. We had a 4 tier fake cake with 2 flavored sheet cakes (Snickerdoodle w/ cream cheese frosting & White chocolate w/ blackberry mouse). The price was very reasonable for the work and quality of cake. At our cake tasting I could've picked any of the choices and they were delicious! The cake was beautifully classic with a hint of Disney as I requested, but the real amazing work was the sugar flowers! They were STUNNING! I would use Cake-Aholics for any cake or bakery needs in the future.

We actually met Matthew at the Fort Worth Bridal show and fell in love with his lavender-vanilla cake so much that we had to schedule a tasting to taste the other flavors. At the tasting it was just Matthew, my husband, and myself in his sweet bakery and it was awesome! He paid close attention to what we wanted and when we gave him cake flowers to place on the cake from our florist he did an AMAZING job placing them! We had him create both a wedding cake (vanilla lavender) and a groom’s cake was flavored snickerdoodle (in the shape of a Star Wars Hoth Turret) and both cakes were delicious! The cakes were perfectly moist and fluffy! They were supported well and looked beautiful during our wedding! Matthew did a wonderful job and we were completely satisfied with his delivery of the cakes! We also highly recommend Matthew to make your wedding/groom’s and any occasion cake because he will deliver a delicious cake! Matthew himself is very friendly and accommodating when you may want to make last minute changes to your cake! He was awesome!

Matthew was incredible! We really didn’t know what we wanted for our design and after a few photos, he gave life to our vision! The whole process took less than an hour and the cake turned out more beautifully than I could have dreamed. My husband also wanted a groom’s cake made to look like his off-roading Toyota FJ that he has customized and there’s is no other like it in the world. We sent photos of it and Matthew and his team were able to recreate it. It was nothing short of amazing!

Our wedding was a few weeks ago and our cakes were one of the highlights!! I wanted to have a tiered chocolate chip cookie cake and Matthew and his team did an outstanding job. I showed him one picture of a cake I liked and he made an even better version. The grooms cake was equally stunning! All of the guests raved about how delicious the cake was and how fun it was to have a cookie cake wedding cake! I can't say enough positive things about Cake-Aholics!! I highly, HIGHLY recommend.

I only have AMAZING things to say about Matthew and his crew. When we left our initial meeting with him, my husband and I knew it was a no-brainer that we were going to choose him for our big day. He was helpful in assisting us figure out our vision for what we wanted for the day, and patient as we figured that out. On top of everything, the cake and desserts that we choose were DELICIOUS! We got compliments from so many different people about them. I cannot recommend Matthew and Cake-Aholics bakery highly enough!

Cake-Aholics is AMAZING! I can't even count how many compliments I got on the cake, not only how pretty it was but how delicious it tasted! We did a white cake with blackberry mousse, and holy smokes was it tasty. Matthew was so great to work with and really brought my vision to life! I've already told everyone this is the only bakery I will buy cake from now on!

We got our wedding cake and groom's cake from Cake-Aholics and the experience was great! Matt sketched pictures of our custom cakes for us at our tasting and it was amazing for us to see the finished cakes at our wedding reception. They were so beautiful and exactly what we had envisioned...actually probably better! Not only did the cakes look great but they tasted amazing and so many of our guests told me so! Everyone loved them! The whole experience was perfect and seemless from start to finish. Thanks Matt!

We got our wedding cake here and Matt was literally the best to work with. He took his time to explain everything and sketched the design of our cake as we were at the tasting. The cake is incredible, so decadent and moist. 100% would recommend - the price was reasonable and the taste and look just incredible!

Matt was an absolute dream to work with. His cakes are delicious, reasonably priced, and beautiful. Honestly, I was shocked to find that so many other (not as delicious) bakeries were charging far more. This makes Cake-Aholics bakery extremely competitive. All of our guests raved about how beautiful and delicious the cake was and I cannot stop recommending him to other friends who are getting married. We had a two-tiered white chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse in the top tier and blackberry mousse in the bottom tier. We also had cupcakes in many different flavors, making it even more economical. Cupcakes start at $2.50 and if you add fillings, it is a bit more. The cake itself cost about $4 per slice. All of which is incredibly excellent when you consider that many other bakeries charge several dollars more (base price) for less tasty cake. Thanks again, Matt!

Matt was awesome. Our cake was amazing. It was so moist. He was easy to work with. He communicated clearly with us. He took our vision and made it a reality. We were extremely satisfied. We received many compliments on our cake and cupcakes.

Yum! Matthew is a pleasure to work with and really saw my vision for cupcakes and a birch like cake at the top. Unlike many cupcakes that dry out, these were all still moist on our wedding day and the next for leftovers. They look as good as they taste as well. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were completely obsessed with our wedding cake! From the detail Matthew put into it to the flavors and the texture. It was absolutely perfect. Cake-Aholics made the entire process easy and affordable. I could not sing higher praises for this bakery!

Matthew was amazing! He was much more affordable than the other bakeries we looked into, he does not charge for the tasting and he is actually willing to work with you on developing flavors, I had my heart set on a pear-spice cake, and he actually developed his own recipe to meet my request, and it was sooo good! I actually had his white cake with blackberry filling at a friend's wedding and it was so good that I knew we had to have him for ours. He is also very creative and willing to try a lot of different designs. We did a geode cake and it was beautiful and delicious.

Everything about working with Mathew was perfect. He was so professional and kind and really made our vision for our wedding cake come to life. It was beautiful AND tasted amazing, we got so many compliments on how tasty it was! We will certainly use Cake-aholics again for any events we have in the future.

We absolutely loved our wedding cake and Matthew was so easy to work with. We were able to try 6 flavors at our initial tasting and we had such a hard time choosing because they were all that good! Their Snickerdoodle cake is to die for! We chose a white chocolate cake with white chocolate filling and it was so delicious. Matthew gave us exactly what we wanted and make the process stress-free.
