Cakes and More

!!

making each couples' day special! Soooo many people complimented our cakes, one of my bridesmaids said she had seven pieces! Cynthia was super flexible and easy to work with. We had leftover cake after the wedding, and it stayed moist for a long time! 10/10 would recommend!!

or no. We were open to different ideas and did not want to just copy something off of pinterest. She was also very rude to another prospective customer that came in during our tasting. After a few other consultations with other bakeries, we changed our whole vision and found a cake design we wanted instead. Out of the other bakeries we had tastings with, Cakes and More had a superior flavor. We ended up going with Cakes and More mainly due to the discounted rate we got with our venue if we selected them. Ten days before the wedding, we had to provide Cynthia with our updated guest count. She said she would make the changes to our paperwork. I then asked if the size of the tiers would change and she said no. She was super dodgy with how we would have the increased number of servings with the same 3 tiered cake from our original quote. Cynthia then decided she would change the size of one of the tiers but that it would go over our 120 guests and I would be required to pay extra. She was not willing to work with us. Unless I had asked how the cake would change, she would have pocketed the additional money and left the number of servings the same (which was a lower guest count). Overall, she needs to work on customer service skills. Her cake is delicious but her attitude is poor.

e great advice and we were so happy with how our cake turned out. It tasted delicious and we got so many compliments from our guests!

nted our cake to look from a design standpoint. She decorated the cake with flowers beautifully, and the cake was delicious! We will probably try to get a small wedding cake from her again to celebrate our first anniversary.

e and our guests couldn't stop talking about our Almond and Amaretto cake. Cynthia is truly an artist and was able to help us design a beautiful cake.

e Cynthia an inspiration photo and told her we were going for a "fall theme," and she gave us just that. We also had SO many compliments from our guests. We highly recommend Cakes & More!

ork best for what we were looking for. The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious, and we received so many compliments from our guests!

s, but as soon as we had her cake, we booked immediately! We tasted different cakes with different fillings. She described each flavor in detail and gave us recommendations on how to pair them. She even drew out the design of the cake as we were talking about it! Another thing I loved was that Cynthia took pictures of us on my phone during our tasting, just so we could take a moment to have fun and document memories! How sweet is that?! Our cake came out beautifully and was DELICIOUS. I cannot wait to break into our top tier on our first anniversary!

testing to the actual cake, we felt the warmth from her and knew it was an easy decision for our wedding cake and groom's cake. The cake tasting was PHENOMENAL. She was thorough in what each flavor was and how it could be paired. She also took pictures of everyone to remember the occasion. Also, the actual wedding cake was gorgeous and delicious. We enjoyed her cake so much, we even tried to hire her for another event. 10/10 would definitely recommend her and her services.

flavors done perfectly at a fair price. She is truly a professional. We had a cake tasting with her a year before since we live in a different country, but she was able to squeeze us in during the holidays when we were visiting. Our cake was four different flavored tiers, absolutely beautiful and tasty. We froze the leftovers and still enjoy it!

t did not pressure us to sign the contract immediately. We were able to think it over for about a week, while we tested other options. She let us sample each cake flavor and helped us talk through total needs and general design. The citrus cake and strawberry filling was positively addictive. We had 75 servings of cake in 3 different flavors including grooms cake. Our total cost was under $550 despite the delivery cost to Hill Country area. Our shaped cake had buttercream outside. This was great as we were able to avoid the artificial sickly sweet flavor of fondant common to other vendors. The buttercream is important to plan around as you may need to store the cake carefully in case melting is a risk. Only caveats are minor, cake tasting is only on two days of the week. I hope she gets her website running again soon. She is excellent but the website issues did scare me into contacting to double check that I did not need to book a substitute.

ng combos for the different tiers of our cake. We got so many compliments from our guests! Would definitely book again.

ased and said it was the best cake in America they've ever tried! We went to 4 different bakeries before we found Cynthia and we almost gave up having a wedding cake. Everything else was way too sweet, tasted artificial, and the prices were way too high. Cynthia's cakes were not only the best tasting, she was also the most affordable. Hiring her was a no brainer and we can't recommend her enough!

finitely consider for future events!

and told us what to tell our venue to make sure we got back all of our cake! We totally recommend her for any event!!

's cake as well.

ke our vision reality. We planned on saving our top layer for one year anniversary and it accidentally got served at wedding, she said she’d make us a fresh one next year on the house. She goes above and beyond and we just really appreciate her!

ks since! Just as good as the first day.

e I’ll be seeking her services for future events.

ok good but dangggg did it taste delicious!! Cynthia is such a good person and friend, it was such an honor to have her be apart of our big day!! Thank you so much to Cynthia and her team! It was absolutely perfect!!!

s just delicious. We went with a naked cake look and we received so many compliments over the look and the taste. Definitely coming back for more of their baked goodies in the future.

t was decorated as a golf course. She was so easy to work with, which was especially important since I was planning from out of town and my mom had to do most of it. 10/10 highly recommend!

s absolutely perfect! We got each layer of our cake a different flavor and filling- it was awesome! So flavorful and ADDICTIVE!! I cannot wait to eat our top tier on the one year anniversary! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

on to detail Cynthia and her team had for the cake. It was impeccable and the taste was unforgettable. Cynthia, you went above and beyond! Thank you so much.

e cupcakes for our guests. It is hands down the best cheese cake I have ever had and we cannot wait for our one year anniversary cake. My sister and brother-in-law initially did our cake tasting for us since we were living 2,000+ miles away and they could not stop saying great things about it after they tried it and neither could our guests after the wedding.

drew out the cake of my dreams. And it was the most beautiful. And OMG yummy too! Purple ribbons and cascading snowflakes down it. And the groom's cake was a Nintendo controller and she nailed it! Also, since we weren't keeping the top tier, she is baking us a free 1st year anniversary cake! Awesome since we didn't get to eat too much of it at our wedding, just the piece that got smashed in my face. ;)

id choose, everything was amazing. My cake design was just as I pictured it, and we got so many compliments on our cake. It was beautiful.

akes which our guests loved! Everyone said it tasted delicious!! Highly recommend!

g them for any cake needs in the future.

ferent combinations to try. The cake was moist and made from scratch. The best part is you get to design the cake with the baker and it came out exactly like we drew on the page. The pricing was wonderful and if we could get another cake from there, I totally would.

ved many compliments days after the wedding as well.

ome. She created the perfect cakes for our daughter’s day!

rth what we paid for it. We were impressed from the first time we met with Cynthia. We would recommend Cakes and More to anyone looking for a cake for their special occasion.

I could take part in the cake cutting with my husband! We have already recommended cakes and more to our friends!
