Michelle Wynton and David Taylor are superb musicians. We have heard them perform for large and small, intimate groups individually and together, in many different settings, which include private homes, company functions, concert halls, cathedrals, libraries, Ravinia Festival and Music By the Lake (Lake Geneva, WI). To have them play for an occasion as special as a wedding will be memorable.
Beautiful!
David played for our church wedding. Absolutely beautiful. He also played for our mother’s memorial recital. David never disappoints. His years of experience as Asst. Concertmaster of the Chicago Symphony and too numerous to mention solos with various groups make him the PERFECT choice for your special day!
Chamber music played at the highest level... Ask David for his favorite one-liners!
Apart from being an accomplished and emotionally sensitive musician, Michelle Wynton has the great advantage of being organized and dependable; an important aspect for the happy couple; you want your musicians to show up on time with the right music.
She plays beautifully; it’s a pleasure to listen to her play.
I was a guest at a wedding ceremony graced by the artistry of violinists David Taylor and Michelle Wynton. I highly recommend them, without reservation, to anyone wishing to weave rich musical beauty into such a momentous occasion.
Set-up of placement and instrument tuning was non-intrusive and quickly executed, dispatched with calm, quiet assurance and nearly unnoticed as guests assembled and greeted one another. When David began playing the pre-ceremony piece, a hush descended and we were bathed in exquisite tones which uplifted all present.
David and Michelle’s sensitive, tender and exceptional playing was seamlessly matched in both solo and duet pieces. They set the perfect ambience throughout the whole ceremony and created a lush ‘wish without words’ for the happiness and love all held for this bride and groom. David and Michelle are an unsurpassable team!

Dave Taylor and Michelle Wynton performed at our wedding and filled the church with glorious music which perfectly set the stage for us as we exchanged our vows. We chose to use a violin duo at they added a more intimate feeling and our family and friends were blown away by their performance. Looking back, every part of the ceremony (except for my wife’s shoes) went better than planned and David and Michelle’s playing was clearly one of the highlights.
I’d like to recommend the new musical group, Cakes and Quartets, as a delightful addition for any event.
David Taylor and Michelle Wynton agreed to contribute to our wedding ceremony on very short notice and in spite of the fact that David was suffering from a neck injury that had precluded his performance with the CSO only the night before. The show did go on!
The Taylors chose the lovely slow movement from Bach’s Double Violin Concerto and their hauntingly beautiful arrangement of the Bach aria “Bist du bei mir.” We chose a traditional protestant service for which the Bach was an entirely appropriate.
Please take advantage of this wonderful talent!
