When our big day finally arrived in June 2021, she delivered the most beautiful and delicious cake on time, right at the venue, with no issues at all, and our guests loved the cake!

We also picked 4 different flavors for each tier and each was amazing! I'm almost positive we had every single guest member compliment our cake and the flavor! Not only were I, my husband, and our guests were impressed, our wedding coordinator even complimented her on her professionalism and the beauty of the cake. With all that being said, I highly recommend Cakes By Christina. Our cake was one area of our wedding that I never once had to worry about.

d informed Christina that I have an allergy to dairy, and would be interested in having the cake baker use their regular recipe but with goat's milk instead of cow's milk (as opposed to using a vegan recipe). Christina indicated she'd be willing to try that. When she followed up with me later, I asked her the same question - again, she indicated she would be willing to try that and would serve us that at our tasting. However, at our tasting, Christina served us her vegan recipe; that, and her extremely long contract made it clear that she was, in fact, NOT willing to try anything but her established recipes. While at this point I made the decision to continue with Christina due to time constraints and other factors, I was extremely disappointed in this bait-and-switch behavior. In all other aspects, working with Christina went very well! Her cakes tasted fabulous, and the decorations were beautiful. She had provided idea sketches that allowed us to make sure the design would be what we wanted. Christina was also patient with the delay on our cake topper, and provided the cake on time and beautifully set up. In all, a great experience once we chose her, but her self-advertising and promises left much to be desired.

She sent an email a couple days in advance stating that she had contacted everyone she needed to at the venue and told us exactly what time everything would be dropped off and set up, we didm't have to do a thing! When arriving at the venue for the first time the cake was set up perfectly with topper and all and looked absolutely perfect! I will never be able to thank Christina enough for the amount of stress she saved me from! I would recommend her cakes a thousand times over to any one that asked (I still dream about the lemon cake with white chocolate ganache filling!!)

We decided on cupcakes with different flavors and designs with a topper cake for my husband and I. On our wedding day, the cupcakes were beautifully designed and decorated with every detail exactly what I had planned. The topper cake was perfectly set with the simple monogram cake topper that I supplied prior to the wedding date. My only regret was that my husband and I did not order more cupcakes due to the fact that every cupcake was eaten soon after we cut our topper cake! Our guests were very happy with the dessert! I think the only small detail that we were surprised with pertained to the deposit of the cake stand. Understandably, you pay a deposit for the cake stand because it is specially made and if there is any damage, it would have to replaced. Both my husband and I understood prior to ordering our cupcakes that the cake stand deposit was being held on to and not cashed until the stand was returned with damage. Instead, both checks(one for cake stand and the other for cake deposit) were cashed. For future brides, I would make this understood or have it written down in the contract so that each person planning a wedding that is allocating funds and budgeting multiple vendors at a time will already have that planned and budgeted. Otherwise, if you are planning a wedding and want fantastic results with great quality cake/cupcakes at a reasonable price, Cakes by Christina is a fantastic vendor and I will continue to recommend the business.

o additional cost. Bottom layer: white cake with lemon filling. Second layer: pumpkin cake with cream cheese filling. Third layer: chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling. Fourth layer: peanut butter cake with chocolate ganache filling. I haven't tried the top layer yet (saving it), but everything tasted good. My only complaint is that the bottom layer with the lemon filling did not go throughout the cake layer. Only about half of the layer had lemon filling and the rest was the white buttercream that was on the outside of the cake. I was not informed of this ahead of time and it was a little disappointing. Otherwise everything was great. The cake was beautiful and on time. Christina was relatively easy to get a hold of and the process of booking the cake went smoothly.

Her cakes, hands down, are the best I have ever tasted! She literally has hundreds of UNIQUE flavors of cake, filling, and frostings! I could not believe she did all of this herself and was this good! The price is a tad high but completely worth it, and I mean a tad! I have left over cake that is still good and I can't wait for the anniversary cake, which she gives detailed instructions on how to keep it as fresh as possible! She is so sweet to work with and so creative!
