Our wedding cake was a traditional tiered design with organic waves in buttercream, topped off with flowers. It was gorgeous! What received compliments all night, though, was the groom's cake. My husband is a big hiker, so we asked for a mountain landscape and Darcy delivered! It was gorgeous and very, very tasty. We can't wait for our first anniversary cake, which she will make fresh for us. I will use Cakes by Darcy for other events in our future!

Most wedding cakes I have tasted are always dry. None of these were dry and the flavors were scrumptious .We decided on how many tiers we would need and chose 4 different flavors for the wedding cake. It was hard to choose a favorite but we absolutely LOVED the carrot cake. You will not find better service or more delicious offerings of cake/filling flavors, any where else! Darcy was amazing ,the cake was perfect in every way and customer service was second to no one!

Aside from thinking and building something fun that fell in line with what I wanted, she was really educational on the amount of cake needed and wanted and costs and super helpful with the flavors. She also provided support with understanding delivery and just really made it the smoothest ordering and scheduling of my entire wedding planning process. I got off the phone with her and actually felt excited! hahaha. Her design was brought to life on the day of and it actually tasted amazing! No surprise moving forward. Both were absolutely beautiful and delicious. We had so many people come up to us after the wedding telling us how delicious our cakes were. At one point, our entire wedding band was over taking pictures with their phones of the grooms cake. We had a ridiculous amount of cake for the number of guests and it was ALL GONE at the end of the wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend her for anyone looking to have a cake made for a special occasion!

gs about them. When my fiance and I went for our cake tasting, they had a cute sign with our names and date and had two plates full of cake flavors, fillings, and frostings. We felt so special and not rushed in any way. We did a Gatsby themed wedding and I already knew exactly the designs I wanted. They sketched them out and captured our designs perfectly. Darcy herself spoke to me a few times throughout our process and I felt comfortable with her skills and creative designs. My fiance and I decided to choose flavors that were more unique. We chose strawberry cake with a lemon filling for two tiers of our cake. We chose carrot cake with blueberry filling for the middle tier of our cake. We had white buttercream frosting and black swag piping. Our grooms cake was devil's food with raspberry filling. The grooms cake was made to look like a book and had a Gatsby style initial and quote. The cakes tasted amazing!! The service was great and they accommodated our Sunday wedding with their delivery. Our cakes turned out perfect! My birthday was two months after our wedding, and my mom surprised me with carrot cake/ blueberry filling! Best birthday cake ever! Thank you Cakes by Darcy! I will be using them for any/ every event in the future.

I would highly recommend the Almond Cake with Raspberry filling and Amaretto Butter Cream icing...so AMAZING!!!!

rful! The cake tasting was so fun and everything was delicious!! We ended up choosing strawberry cake with chocolate buttercream filling and for the groom's cake - lemon cake with raspberry filling. It was delicious. I had given Darcy a photo of a wedding cake that I had seen online and loved. She was able to recreate it perfectly! For the groom's cake I wanted it to look like a very specific guitar that I was surprising the groom with at the reception. They did a fantastic job!! It looked exactly like his guitar and the groom loved it! The price was wonderful too! I expected to pay well over $1,000 for everything and had saved up around $500 for what I expected the deposit to be. Turns out my cake and groom's cake combined didn't cost much more than what I had saved for the deposit! I was able to pay in full that day!! They are wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone!!
