Cakes by Debbie Sutara

Debbie was super flexible and could read my mind! She nailed our cake perfectly. She worked really with our vendors, especially our florist, who gave her extra flowers and she placed them on our cake. We got the classic filling, raspberry and white almond cake. It was so good and I can't wait to have it on our year anniversary!

I have been eating Mrs. Sutara's cakes for almost two decades now. I can tell you that they are fabulous and not like anything you will eat anywhere else. Her decorations are always flawless and she continues to move forward with her designs. They get better every time I see a picture. Mrs. Sutara made my wedding cake two years ago now and it was incredible. I kept it simple and had her do the basket weave style design. It turned out perfect and it tasted as good as it looked! We hated to cut it apart!

Debbie - You are awesome. As the groom, I left the wedding planning to my wife (still weird to say). However, when I saw the cake I was blown away. I don't know how she does all that little work and design stuff. Everyone complimented us on how the cake looked and how it tasted. I actually had two pieces, one of the vanilla and one of the chocolate - It was my party (kind 0f), I did what I wanted. Thanks Deb! We'll be calling you for our anniversary cake.

We love, love, loved our cake! Two years later and people are still talking about our cake! Honestly, it was so beautiful and so elegant, it looked gorgeous. We had a choice of so many flavors and fillings too. Lemon, mango, raspberry, Bavarian cream, etc. etc. I thought we would have cake left over - NOPE. Everyone ate the cake! Thank you so much Debbie, wish we could get married again so you could do another cake for us!

The cake was very nice. It was delicious and we had people that took cake home. The White almond and custard is amazing. It was nice to meet her at her home and talk about what I was looking for and everything. I gave her a photo, gave her my flavors and talked about what I was looking for. I was very confident and comfortable. I can't complain because the cake was still very nice, but I expected more details with the icing. I thought it would have more Pizzazz than what it did. The cake also had a lean when it was set up. I didn't notice it at the time, but looking back at the wedding it did lean backwards and was off center.

This lady is the most AWESOME! I can not say enough to relay just how great she and her cakes are. Everything was perfect and beautiful. I am still hearing from my guests how delicious my cake was! I have some other celebrations coming up and she will be making all the cakes I ever purchase!

Cannot say enough good things about Debbie - her cakes are incredible, both the way they look and taste! She did a funfetti wedding cake for us with fun colored icing in between the layers, and our guests loved it!

Ladies and Gents... look no further, THIS is where you should get your cake from!! Debbie not only has an awesome personality, but she is a breeze to work with! She was one of the few vendors that I NEVER had to worry about getting it right. My now husband and I had a hard time picking between the flavors and fillings, so Debbie made us mini cakes for us to try... I reccommend asking her for these too, they helped us in picking our flavors (white almond w/ fudge and caramel).The guests went bananas over it! I never saw so many people actually eat the cake at a wedding! I chose to design the cake, by choosing aspects of 2 different cakes. She not only understood my babble, but executed it without a hitch! My cake was GORGEOUS!!! I not only Recommend Debbie, but I insist you book her Immediately!

For our wedding we had a pumpkin spice cake with caramel butter cream icing and it was to die for! Debbie did a beautiful job with the decorating and it was just amazing her filigree work! Highly recommended!

My parents insisted that I get my cake from Debbie instead of my venue (The Lamplighter). Honestly, my husband and I would have preferred to have the Lamplighter prepare our cake (better cost, probably similar quality). We weren't impressed by the flavors at all. The cake was pretty and to our specifications, but at a price I wasn't comfortable with. My parents and sister all claim that the cake was delicious. I didn't really have time to sit down and enjoy the cake at my wedding, so maybe I missed something? I also was unable to attend the tasting. If you want a good quality cake, attend the tasting and know what flavors you're getting, and overall I would recommend Debbie Sutara.

Debbie was really easy to work with, very reasonably priced, and the cake was delicious! I gave her a picture of what I wanted and that was exactly what i got :) I also really like that she uses buttercream rather than fondant. Would definitely recommend.

Debbie was easy to work with and delivered not only a beautiful cake, but it was amazing tasting! The cake tasted great even a week later! She is also reasonably priced.

I planned my wedding from North Carolina and did a lot of it last minute and Debbie made sure that everything was able to be done even from twelve hours away. She was able to take my ideas that I said over the phone and created a beautiful cake that my husband, guests, and I thought was very delicious! She stayed with my rustic theme and was able to incorporate my flowers and cake topper perfectly.

My family's known Debbie for years and have always liked her cakes. So of course we were going with her for my wedding. But the cake was even more gorgeous than I could have imagined! We had raspberry and bavarian fillings and everyone said it was the best wedding cake they've ever eaten! My parents only took home about 5 peices! She worked with us to pick out a wonderful but simple design that suited our taste... and it was beautiful!
