Larissa’s desserts were the sleeper hit of our wedding! My Husband and I got married at Roche Harbor, so the food expectations are high. However, the wedding cake and dessert ba...
r she provided were the favorite that had everyone coming back for more! Larissa only took over By Felicitations this year, but we appreciated that she clearly has extensive baking experience. We connected with her online and visited her shop for a cake tasting, and were were highly impressed that see not only had the flavors we requested, but several others she suggested based on our requests that ended up being our favorites. She even made up a fresh mini-cake on the spot combining our favorite flavors (almond cake, raspberry compote, and lemon frosting). And the cake we got on our wedding day tasted every bit as excellent as the samples she prepared. She also realized the appearance of the cake just as we hoped, matching swirling ocean colors with a geode motif made of crystallized sugar. During the cocktail hour our guests kept coming over to tell us just how amazing our cake looked! Her dessert bar was also superb, from home-made shortbread to moist cookies and brownies. She even made a rich, creamy tiramisu that did the desert full justice. We look forward to getting more deserts from her whenever we are on island, and enjoying our cake again on our one year anniversary!
Felicity did a great job on our wedding cake and cupcakes. We enjoyed visiting her location in person for our tasting, where she was very accommodating and let us try every flavor ...
under the moon. The desserts arrived at the venue with no problem. The only thing I would have changed was, we were mostly communicating with Felicity via email and it was at times hard to get ahold of her, with a good amount of time passing between replies. Other than that, it was a joy to work with Felicity! Highly recommend, especially because we were married at Roche Harbor resort in Friday Harbor, WA and there were not a lot of other options in the area.
Love love love love! Felicity made the BEST desserts at our wedding. The Chocolate frosting was unreal- best we've ever had and my husband is a frosting snob lol. She was so sweet ...
and willing to make our three tiered cake have different insides, then made GF DF Cupcakes that were mouth watering good. She was quick to respond and the best!

il of our wedding cake. We cannot say enough nice things about her as a person, and a baker. Our Groom’s Cake and our wedding cake were both perfect in absolutely every way. Our cake tasting and designing meeting was one of the most fun and memorable experiences of our entire engagement, and I wish we could do it all over again!
Our wedding day and the whole weekend was truly an amazing experience that we will remember forever, and we are so grateful that Felicity and her beautiful cakes were apart of it! We will be coming back to the San Juan Island and Felicitations Bakery for many anniversaries to come

She was great at offering suggestions to help our day go perfectly. We ended up choosing a small cake to cut and then cupcakes for our guests. She is artistic and her work is beautiful! We just wish we could have had more cake to ourselves!

the setup and tear down. She also had beautiful cake stands of many varieties. Instead of regular cupcakes we asked her to make us mini layered cakes and she nailed it! Felicity was wonderfully kind and queer friendly.
We decided, rather than have a cake, to ship ice cream from our hometown and serve it from a cart to our guests in lieu of a receiving line. Felicity went above and beyond to accom...

ey. The cake tasting experience was so fun, and her cakes were all so delicious it was hard to choose! We settled on an almond cake, and even though she does not normally make a cherry filling she was willing to make one for us. On the day of our wedding our cake was absolutely beautiful! It was decorated to perfection and it was so delicious. I would absolutely recommend Felicity for anyone getting married (or needing a cake for any occasion) on San Juan Island.

e cake. We were only going to be in town for a few days and so I thought it was hopeless. Then i saw felicity had great reviews and I thought just maybe we could sneak a meet and greet in. I called her the day before and she miraculously was able to squeeze us in for a tasting. Her cakes are delicious, she has so many good ideas, and she is just sweet and helpful. Couldn't say enough good things about her. Thank you!!

The cake was beautiful and when we went cake testing we were offered 12 flavors to choose from and it was awesome. Felicity is a very nice lady and she has been doing it for years.
