id we didn’t care for the chocolate drip and she said she would use gold and smear it. I called her in November to confirm the cake and see if she had any questions. It won’t allow me to post pictures of what I ordered, and what we received. The cake we ordered had oranges, cranberry, cinnamon sticks and pine springs. The cake delivered had strawberries and blackberries all over it. We never at anytime ever discussed using other fruit, or any other options and have no idea where she got her inspiration from bc we ONLY discussed the orange cake. There was no alternative cake discussed. Our daughter’s heart was broken bc she was so pleased with the orange cake she thought she was getting and it ended up looking like something from an HEB bakery.. I truly have no idea what happened and no one from her bakery bothered to call to apologize for the mistake.

I will say that basically designing a cake from scratch, it might not come out exactly how you think it will, so keep that in mind.

and that was just so fun!!! 10/10 recommend Cakes by Jula! :-)

Luckily, we had a piece saved for us that we got to eat at the hotel and we were very happy with it! My husband and I decided we will order cakes every anniversary as our new tradition!

ition to being beautifully designed and decorated, they tasted AMAZING. My husband and I did not want bland, boring, dry cake. Substance had to match beauty, and Jula more than delivered. The wedding cake had a mix of carrot cake and almond cake layers with pineapple filling. The grooms cake was lemon cake with lemon curd filling. We over ordered based on our original guest list, and I wasn’t sad at all that we took lots of cake home. I can’t wait to order from them for my next event or party!

and looked better than I had imagined! Our 2 tier wedding cake was done in a marble style with chocolate and vanilla and was so good, we finished the leftovers in 3 days! The cupcakes were a hit with our guests and the solid chocolate starfish she did with the cake and cupcakes were so cute and so tasty!!! And she was able to get our order in about 2 weeks before the wedding!

everything was so yummy. My cake came included with the venue packet. However, the extra sweets were very affordable, they looked gorgeous, and were delicious.

we took parts of previous cakes the baker had made and put them into our wedding cake. We were so excited to see the end result because the planning session was so thorough. In the end, we had the wrong flowers on the top of our cake, flowers we didnt even want on the side of our cake, and the colors absent from the designs. It was still a beautiful cake, just not what we had envisioned. The grooms cake was a custom order as well. My husband loves wrestling so we asked for a wrestling ring type cake. Seeing all of the previous work the baker had done, we were sure this was going to be an amazing cake. It was delicious but less that pleasing to the eye. It really looked like they put it together last minute or a novice decorator had their hand in decorating it. We were expecting more precision and decor, based on the conversation during planning, that they said was able to be done. All in all, an excellent choice for taste, friendliness and options of designs of cake.

BEAUTIFUL and tasted amazing! She is my go to for cakes of any kind!

. We had pink champagne with strawberry filling, Italian cream and German chocolate. Majority of the cake was gone by the end of the night and everyone told us how great it was. Her cakes do not come out dry so that was a huge plus! She was on time and was flexible with changes. Will defiantly use her for future events.

per for the two of us to cut and we had a variety of cupcakes for the guests. The cupcakes were moist and looked flawless - not to mention the guests loved them!! We also had a gluten free guest at our wedding. We asked Jula to make just two for that guest and she went above and beyond and made a dozen — Jula comes highly recommended!

deciding on a cake, cupcakes and cake balls. They were all so delicious and decorated beautifully. She took our overall theme and came up with great ways to decorate everything, so it all worked so well together. We were able to get all the flavor combinations we wanted. Jula even made some special chocolate covered cake balls to surprise my sister with since she is allergic to white chocolate. We had something for everyone! Every time I talked with Jula, it was a great experience. She made everything easy and I loved how everything turned out!
