My family used to LOVE the cakes made by Carolyn (owner) and would use her business for every birthday and special occasion. When we found out she had a separate cake business solely for weddings and other occasions, we reached out to her immediately for our wedding. Carolyn is amazing! She came to our house for our cake tasting and gave us a variety of flavors to choose from and taste. All was delicious, but we narrowed it down to our favorites (per tier) and gave her an idea of what we wanted our cake to look like. She executed everything beautifully! The cake was absolutely delicious (our guests are still talking about it!) and she made the cake just look exquisite. Thank you so much, Carolyn, for the perfect wedding cake!

Carolyn did a great job on my son's wedding cake. What an artist! I showed her the design and she did it exactly like we wanted ! She is also a wonderful person, such a pleasure to work with. I can't wait for more special occasions so we can have more cake. Everyone loved the flavors especially the black Forrest. Thanks a million Carolyn we love you!

We did two cakes, one traditional wedding layered cake made of all cheesecake and a grooms cake which she made a replica of a pool table. They were both incredible and we had tons of compliments on how good they tasted. She did one in purple with zebra and detailed it with bling which was beautiful. The pool table was so detailed down to the pool balls and cues. I could not have pictured it better. She helped pull our ideas together at the first meeting and brought so many samples. We highly recommend her for any event!

Can I just say, HOLY COW BATMAN THAT CHEESECAKE. Our cheesecake wedding cake is something we'll never forget. The only complaint I can make is that we didn't get to eat more of it at the actual reception!! =P That was not Carolyn's fault though, ha, we were just too damn busy. She makes DELICIOUS creamy cheesecake and our wedding cake was truly stunning. Looking at it, you wouldn't know it wasn't traditional cake. She gave us a top tier to keep for ourselves which is in our freezer and it's only been a month but we want it now! She came TO OUR HOME for the tasting. I will say, a few days prior to the wedding she was the only vendor that didn't "touch base" with us, but she reported she did send us an email (we didn't get it), but it might have been an honest mistake. It was slightly unnerving, but we touched base and everything was cool. And one bite of my heavenly white chocolate raspberry cheesecake made me forgot my tiny woes. I do highly recommend her if you want a cheesecake wedding cake. It was outstanding and nothing like anything else I've seen or had at a wedding.

I have never eaten such good wedding cake in my life! So glad that the best cake ever was at my own wedding. She really outdid herself!

This amazing cake was by far the best I have ever had! Their design was perfectly done as I has described. We didn't want to cut it up! Thanks again for the perfect cake.

A Better Cheesecake made it so easy to get the exact cake my husband and I were looking for! We didn't need an appointment to come in and have a tasting which was a huge help with our busy schedules. I brought a picture of a cake that I liked and A Better Cheesecake was able to make all of our requested changes. On our wedding day the cake was delicious! We had the bottom layer with strawberry swirl cheesecake, which was a fun surprise for our guests. The middle and top layers were cake; the middle being lemon with raspberry filling and the top was chocolate with chocolate mousse. Rather than saving the top layer for our first anniversary we ate it when we returned home from the honeymoon and were opening our gifts. I can't wait to get a little cake from them to actually have on our first anniversary!

Everyone loved the cake! It was not only delicious but looked exactly as I'd hoped.

I am super picky because I bake cakes. I tasted this company's cake and fillings and buttercream and I was sold! She does wonders with buttercream! It looks better than most fondant cakes and certainly tastes better! I changed my mind on decorations a couple of times. The cake showed up exactly on time and was more beautiful than I ever could've imagined! Use this company! The value is amazing and so is the cake!

This bakery is fantastic! My husband and I had ordered a cake from another bakery before A Better Cheesecake and the cake was just okay. We didn’t think that it was possibly to get a really delicious wedding cake. Then we decided to do another tasting at A Better Cheesecake and couldn’t believe how delicious the cake was! And the cake that they made for our wedding day did not disappoint; it was just as delicious as the cake we tried at our tasting, and it looked absolutely gorgeous! It was exactly how I had described it when I ordered it, down to the last detail. Not only did our guests all compliment how beautiful the cake looked, but everyone ate every last bit off of their plates! And the best part is that I live so close to the bakery that I can stop there whenever I want to get cupcakes or cheesecake!

Quality-The wedding cake for 40 guests was ok, did not have the wow factor I was looking for. I was disappointed that the black designs on the white cake bled when it warmed up from sitting out at our wedding. The cheese cake for the second layer of our wedding cake at no additinal costs was the reason I went there because I wanted something different. After eating the cake I would have been better off getting cake from a local bakery - the quality was just not up to my expectation and the travel time was not worth it. Service - There store is very small and I only saw two people working at all three of my visits which made the wait very long and crowded when they are working with other customers. I had asked to try three other fillings they had listed on there cake form and was told they were not available at my visit that I would have to schedule with them to make sure they have some to try, and with them being an hour away made coming back difficult. We ended up with the Strawberry filling. Value- The cake was priced around the same as other vendors, but the quality was lacking in the cheesecake taste & strawberry filling Overall if I had to do again - I would not buy from this bakery - they are ok for daily bakery use, but not weddings.

Best cake EVER! We wanted to have real flowers on our cake which were supposed to provided by our florist who ended up dropping the ball. All we had less than 1 week before our wedding was just a plain white 3 tiered cake. My heart dropped. My husband and I quickly found a different cake and contacted Carolynn. Without hesitation she took on the new cake and the end result was BEAUTIFUL and incredibly delicious!! I will ALWAYS get my cakes from her! She's incredible!

They did a really great job. The design was exactly what I asked for. It was delivered on time and unscathed to our reception venue. I felt the price was reasonable considering the size of the cake and the general superiority of cheesecake over all other wedding cakes. I docked them a star because they weren't very friend the only time I went to the store. Also, I thought the samples I tasted were better than the actual wedding cake but everyone at the wedding loved it.

Expensive, but SO worth it! Try the white chocolate, you'll thank me later.

The only problem was I ordered the topper before the cake, I was really worried about it, it was quite large. But they make it look amazing on this most elegant delicious cake. I will use them again. I can't wait for my first anniversary when I get to eat the ope layer!! Thank you Carolyn, you're a pleasure to work with.

The overall cheeseccake was beautiful and traditional looking, the taste was excellent, however, the delivery price of $60 for a Sunday wedding was expensive. We would choose them again because of cake quality, but NOT quantity. The cake was supposed to feed more quests than were present, but there was barely enough to go around in tiny tiny little paper thin slices. You couldn't really taste how great the cake was because it did not match the amount that was stated.

Cake was soo yummy , we chose a chocolate cake with raspberry filling, it was superb. The one on one appointment was intimate and fun. A small place with big flavor and passion. We were from New Jersey and had a great experience!

Too bad I only ate one bite - guests ravived over the cake! Beautiful decor - to the tea on what I asked for!
