Cakes Couture

Our cake was a two layer cake with different fillings and flavors on each. We also had an assortment of cheesecake bites and cupcakes. Set up and decoration of the cake was perfect. We wanted a simple semi-naked cake, and they put a few of our fake flowers and a ribbon on it when it was delivered to the venue. I didn’t get to interact with the 3 women that delivered the desserts, but my husband says they were quick and efficient. The cake was soft, moist and flavorful. I didn’t try any of the small desserts, but our guests said everything tasted great.

Loved everything about Cakes Couture, from the tasting to our actual wedding cake! All 4 flavors we chose were delicious, so good we only ended up with 2 slices left at the end of the night! Our cake turned out perfect and was exactly what we wanted! I highly recommend!

They showed up very close to the end of the two hour window we agreed on for the wedding day but they made it! The cake was perfect. It looked and tasted exactly how we had expected. And the lady that helped us during our taste testing was incredibly sweet. It was a pleasure working with them for our wedding.

We used Cakes Couture for our wedding and we're so happy we did!! Our tasting went amazing, we got to try so many different flavors, and they even let us try a cupcake that was Miami Vice flavored, and we ended up going with that flavor for a tier on our cake! They were super accommodating and the cakes ended up BEAUTIFUL on the day of, they were exactly what we pictured, and they tasted great!!

From our first cake tasting, to the delicious left overs we brought home, to everything in between... Cakes Couture DELIVERED. We met Marriah in person and she set up the most beautiful and fun cake tasting for my fiancé, myself, and our family. We were instantly sold on flavor and variability. We had an example of the cake design we wanted and Cakes Couture executed it PERFECTLY. Also, I had a custom design idea for my grooms cake and they helped me create my vision and make it come to life in cake form. We had so many compliments on our cake taste and flavor. 100% Recommend and you WILL NOT be disappointed.

Cakes Couture were extremely easy to work with from the cake tasting to the finished products. I don't live in the area so most all communication was done via email. I sent them pics of my visions and they created a wedding and grooms cake beyond my expectation. I would highly recommend this company. Rhonda and Marriah work very together as a team and can make your vision a reality!

My daughter's wedding cakes were absolutely beautiful and delicious as were the bite size desserts we added! The communication was excellent as well. If you need a cake, use them.....you won't be disappointed at all!!!

I was hoping I would not have to leave a review like this but no one has reached out to me after leaving message on the delivery form, wedding coordinator calling, or me emailing after my daughter’s wedding on February 26, 2022. I have put pictures of what the cakes should have looked like and what was delivered. When I meet with the wedding cake coordinator she told us how excited the owner was to decorate cakes with a mountain theme and wanted to use them for advertising. I was so embarrassed by the groom cake. The look of the cake from color to mountains and not sure what was on top of the cake. Why would anyone think that is worth 400 dollars. I think a third grader could have done better. The delivery lady just kept telling me this is how we do things and that it is final sale even if you are not happy with the product. I just wish she would have reached out to us and that I did not have to leave this review. From visual to the taste of the cake it would received 0 stars on the grooms cake. Now to the wedding cake I asked for no ribbon on the cake at all but after set up you can see ribbon was put on the cake. When I brought it up the delivery lady again told me this is how we do it. So I guess they don’t care what the bride ask for is what I got out of that. I asked for the ribbon to be taken off and the cake to be fixed. She removed all ribbon except the bottom has it was hot glued on. The taste of the icing was off on the wedding cake so for that I give it 4 stars out of 10. All in all very unhappy with the two cakes and the customer service that was received. My grandparents owned a bakery and so I had multiple people that was retired from doing cakes at my wedding that was helping me hold it together as the mom of the bride. I just wish she would have told me she was unable to do the cake then trying on the final cake. Please think twice before using them for your very very special day.

All I can say is omg. Our cake was SO good. Everyone loved it so much. They were such a joy to work with and super responsive. I would definitely recommend to anyone getting married. We can’t wait for our anniversary just so we can have some of our cake again.

Cakes Couture did a BEAUTIFUL job with exactly what we wanted for our wedding cake. PLUS it was so delicious - we went with lemon and fresh blueberries. My cake tasting appointment was one of my favorite planning tasks. Also, they provide you with a fresh wedding cake on your anniversary so you don’t have to freeze the top layer which is so thoughtful.

Ummmmmmmm wow! Our cake was so beyond beautiful and delicious! We got many compliments on our cake after our wedding. My husband and I can’t wait to return to get a cake on our one year anniversary!

We did our first cake tasting at Cakes Couture and ended up booking them to do our wedding cake. We did not try any other bakery as we knew from the start that they were the one! Rhonda is so talented and makes the most delicious cakes! The cake was so moist and the buttercream perfect. We came to her with a vision of what we wanted our cake to look like and it was done to perfection. It was beautiful and delicious! Rhonda was so sweet! I enjoyed working with her and my favorite part was doing our cake tasting. ALL the flavors were so tasty, it was a hard decision picking the flavors that we wanted for our wedding cake. After giving Rhonda some ideas of how I wanted my cake, she was able to draw it on the spot and it was exactly what I wanted. Seeing the cake at our wedding was great, it was soooooo beautful. It tasted great and we got so many compliments from all the guests about how the cake tasted so delicious (I don't think there was any cake left, thats how good it was). Rhonda is one of the most talented bakers I've come across! She will help you design a beautiful cake for any occasion. I simply showed her a photo of something I liked and she re-created it with her own flair. There are many flavors to choose from that were all yummy. You can mix and match flavors and create custom ones like we did for my husbands groom's cake which was delicious. Rhonda and James go out of their way to make sure your experience is fantastic and leave you with the most stunning and delicious cakes in the Hill Country. Hire them--you won't be disappointed!

Rhonda was awesome!! The initial cake testing was so delicious and the samples were huge!!! We got two different flavors of cakes and they were both a hit! Beautiful and just delicious. I would highly recommend her! She’s very kind and super interested in making your wedding cake exactly how you dreamt!

My fiancé (now husband) isn’t a big cake eater, and he couldn’t get enough of it! Our cake was beautiful and delicious! Great tasting AND beautiful. They were very inexpensive which scared me because “ you get what you pay for”. Nope! Fantastic!! Highly recommend!

I used Cakes Couture for a shower and couldn't be happier. We did a rose bouquet (cupcakes) cake and is was absolutely beautiful.
