Crystal was able to make us a delicious cake - but it was gorgeous too! We opted for mini pies along with cupcakes and they were a huge hit! Thank you so much!

My husband and I didn’t have a strong vision for our wedding cake, but Crystal was very patient and provided us with tons of examples. She executed our final vision flawlessly, and the cake was delicious! The buttercream is to die for.

Cakes Creatively by Crystal was better than I could’ve dreamed! Not only was the cake AMAZING, everything was put together so professionally from the tasting to the delivery on our wedding day. Crystal couldn't have been a better choice. We planned our wedding from across the country and she went out of her way to meet us for a little tasting when we were home. She worked with our vision and our florist to make the cake that we had always dreamed of. Even more, I am gluten free, so she worked with me to make one layer GF so that i could still enjoy the cake cutting part of the reception. She has so many different delicious (husband approved) flavors that you can mix and match IN EACH LAYER! If you want a cake that people will talk about for years to come - Crystal is your girl!

Wedding cakes can sometimes be great and other times mediocre but Crystals cakes (& cupcakes) were PERFECT!!! The flavor was delicious and they were dense, not dry, icing yummy! Everyone at our wedding loved the cupcakes! We had a wedding cake for us to cut and eat and then cupcakes for everyone else. Our flavors were lemon blueberry, cookies & cream, white chocolate raspberry, and coconut almond.

Crystal was fantastic! We wanted a simple wedding cake with sheet cakes in the back and she was able to provide this. Her buttercream is to die for and everyone loved the peach cobbler and almond flavors that we picked. It was hard picking because she had so many good flavors to choose from! We had a cake tasting with 2 places for my daughters wedding 2 weeks ago. Both were picked based on their reviews. After the tastings, Crystal was the clear choice, her flavors were phenomiminal! My daughter had 3 flavors at her wedding, white chocolate raspberry, lemon blueberry, and pumpkin and they were all fabulous! (Highly recommend the pumpkin for a fall wedding!) Her cakes are so moist and her Swiss buttercream is delicious! We also had a family/ friends cookie table at the wedding with a couple thousand cookies. I honestly expected to have lots of cake left over with all the desserts available, but it was almost all gone......everyone loved her cakes! Crystal was so easy to work with and her cakes speak for themselves. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding cake or cake for a special event!

I was looking for a place that offered affordable and that I can still get everything I wanted. I can say crystal did that and more. The cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful! We offered the almond, strawberry, chocolate (with raspberry filling), and lemon blueberry. She met with us in person letting us know all of our option both for the cake and the design and she made us a three tier cake that she then placed flowers on as requested. From the very first time we met Crystal, she was so personable and attentive. We knew we were looking for someone like her to make our wedding cake...and that was before we tried her delicious cakes. The European buttercream was exactly the right amount of sweet and it truly made Crystal’s cakes stand out from the other ones we tried. We ended up doing a 3 tiered cake with a mix of flavors and fillings since we loved so many of the flavors. I wanted our cake to tie in with the rest of the fall themed wedding decor and so, Crystal decorated the cake beautifully with fresh flowers—it was a huge hit!

We absolutely LOVED working with Crystal. We taste tested numerous cakes at bakeries all around the Columbus area and Crystal was hands down the best. The flavors were amazing and she was able to bring our vision to life. She had so many photos of different cakes to help us narrow down the design we wanted and we couldn't have been happier with the end result. Our guests raved about the cake and I still have dreams about it! My husband and I had a wonderful experience using Cakes Creatively by Crystal for our wedding. We got married on 9/8/17 and were over the moon with how great the cake turned out. Crystal is very personable and accommodating. We had our wedding outdoors, and many of the big-name or chain bakeries we had tastings with would not allow us to use buttercream icing. They said since the reception will be outdoors, the buttercream would not hold up in the potential heat. However, Crystal was very accommodating and stated that she could deliver the cake and it could be stored in the kitchen of the venue, if necessary, so that I would be able to have the icing I wanted. Also, her icing is to die for!! It is so light like whipped icing but has all the flavor of buttercream and just melts in your mouth. Even my brother who claims to dislike cake was surprised to find that he really liked the one we had made by Crystal. I highly recommend this small business that has a really big taste!! Cakes Creatively by Crystal helped make our special day perfect!

Crystal did an amazing job with our cake. We live in Oregon and she was very flexible in working with us online and doing tastings with our family members instead of us. We asked her to create a new design for us and she did it flawlessly, with a beautiful cake stand. The cake tasted delicious too! She also gave us tasty mini cheesecakes with strawberries. (We live about 2 hrs away and work the night shift, so this type of planning/communication worked perfect for us). Crystal was so easy to work with. She took my very limited guidelines and created a beautiful, romantic cake for our summer garden themed wedding. Not only did the cake look beautiful but it tasted AMAZING. We went with lemon and strawberry alternating layers with buttercream frosting. Guests were asking to take more home and both my groom and I couldn't get enough. We will use her again for any event we host!

Cakes Creatively by Crystal was a fantastic choice for our wedding! We met with her about a year in advance and did a tasting. Her cakes were the best we had in Columbus! They were incredibly moist and the european buttercream is spectacular! We went with a simple design on the outside, but loads of flavor on the inside! Our bottom layer had Fudgie Chocolate and Cookies and Cream, our middle layer had Blackberry Champagne and White Chocolate Raspberry and then we froze our top tier which was Blackberry Champagne again. My husband isn't a huge cake fan, so we did mini pies as well (They were so popular I didn't even get to try one!) I don't even think I saw Crystal on our wedding day things moved so quickly, but at one point I walked in the room and everything was set up perfectly! People raved about the cake, and I ate the leftovers all week. Crystal was affordable and professional and I would highly recommend her to any couples who are looking for a delicious cake with no stress! On the day of my wedding, May 6, 2017, she arrived early and set up the cake quickly. Including the stand. It was breath taking! Exactly what I had dreamed of! My guest and myself loved the flavors and how moist the cake was! We had peanut butter fudge top, marble middle, and an amazing almond bottom layer! With so many cake testings obviously I came to realize that cake is not cheap! Some of them cake artist literally charged per design, delivery, set up, etc. Cakes by Crystal was very reasonable! We were looking for a certain taste of buttercream and her description was on point! From our initial meet, tasting and through email correspondence, Crystal was always attentive to our needs. Our cake was reasonabley priced, flawless and we had several compliments of the overall look and taste. Our guest favorite was the apple cinnamon! We definitely recommend her services.

Crystal was amazing! We were scrambling to find a baker for our October wedding after we had a falling out with another person. She was super accommodating and when we saw our cake vision come to life before the reception started we knew we made the right decision. The cake tasted good, I heard from many guests that each flavor was delicious. Our initial consultation with Crystal went well and we liked her personality and the cake was delicious. Communication was subpar-as the wedding date drew near I hadn't heard from her so I reached out to confirm my numbers, slightly panicked that we had missed the final payment window. Crystal was laid back and reassured me the contract we signed was still good. She arrived at the reception venue with the cake earlier than we had discussed (which is better than late! however she arrived before anyone was there to meet her as we expected her an hour later). Also, she specifically asked what color ribbon I wanted between the tiers and we discussed which shade and the ribbon on our cake was very much so the wrong shade. **Our contract stated that she would bring a container for the top tier to save for our first anniversary. After the cake was cut, the CIty BBQ caterers came out to me on the dance floor asking what I wanted done with the top tier because no container was left for it. This was just added stress I didn't need on my wedding day, I hadn't arranged for a container because our contract stated she would leave one with the cake. To be honest I'm not sure what was done with it and really hope a last minute fix was scrounged up to save our top tier for our first anniversary.**

As a fellow professional in the wedding industry, I met Crystal many years ago at a bridal show and her cakes were SOOO delicious that I stored her name away in case I ever got married….fast forward 4 years later and I’m planning my own wedding! I immediately contacted Crystal and we had an amazing tasting with so many flavor options (so fun!). In May, she designed my beautiful bridal shower cake and in July she created the most wonderful groom’s cake and wedding cake for our big day! My husband and I are so impressed with her design skills, artistry and overall cake flavor and we’ll definitely continue to use Crystal’s services for other events!

Her cake is THE BEST! I am not a fan of icing because it is usually too sweet but hers is perfect. There are so many flavor choices and she designed our exactly how we imagined it! My husband was beyond excited for his grooms cake ( It was a surprise for him) Not only were the cakes perfect but the price couldn't be beat. MIND BLOWINGLY DELICIOUS!!! My wedding cake was one of the best pieces of cake I have ever had. We did half chocolate and half vanilla....both were amazing. My wedding was two weeks ago and my mom is still talking about how good the cake was. The design was exactly what we wanted and Crystal was super easy to work with. Prices were very competitive and quality is top notch. My only problem is trying to comega up with another event so I can order more cake!!!

Crystals cupcakes/cake pops are delicious! I can't comment on the cake because our reception venue threw it away :( but, our Oreo cake pops and peanut butter fudge went in minutes, literally! The blueberry lemon cupcakes were heaven! Crystal was so great to work with and really brought my vision to life. I changed my mind probably five times on what I wanted and she rolled with it every time. Her pricing is so awesome compared to other cake places that I looked at. I only gave her four stars because communication was hard at times. I would email and it would bounce back due to her inbox being full and I would have to Facebook message her. But, it would only be about two days in between messages. So, not long. But, I would HIGHLY recommend her. Our wedding cake/cupcake/cake pop display was BEAUTIFUL and delicious. We got so many compliments on it.

My husband and I were looking for someone to do our wedding cake when I stumbled upon Crystal via Facebook. She had great reviews so we decided to schedule a tasting. The first one I tried I fell in love with! We got a butter cream 3 tier cake with two total flavors (white chocolate raspberry and almond coconut). The scheduling, tasting, ordering and deliver and setup was such a breeze!! It was by far the EASIEST thing I'd done for our late notice wedding. Everyone greatly enjoyed the cake and it looks outstanding in pictures. Crystal thank you so much for providing this service to us and more importantly for delivering on your word. Working with Crystal was a pleasure. She is very sweet and it was obvious to me that she loves what she does. The overall taste of our strawberry shortcake and carrot and chocolate cupcakes were delicious. I am a huge fan of her icing, I say it's to die for! My only complaint was the look of my sunflower cupcakes. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I didn't think the sunflower look was fulfilled. I wish I could've set up a preview with Crystal to ensure what I wanted was completed for the day of my wedding.

We were very happy with the cake samples and decided to book our wedding with her. She made over 300 cupcakes and a small 3 tier cake for our reception. The cupcakes and cake were amazing!! Even though we were supposed to have a ninja turtle peeking out of the back, this didn't work out and she fixed it by giving us a free fresh anniversary cake. I would reccommend her company to anyone!

We found Crystal on the Knot and went for a cake tasting to sample some of her flavors. Her cakes were so moist and flavorful that we decided to go with her for our wedding cake. On the day of the wedding, everything went perfectly. The cake turned out amazing and looked stunning. Thank you Crystal!

I used Crystal for my October 2014 wedding and she was great! I provided Crystal a picture of what I wanted and she provided exactly that! I loved all the different cake pop and cake flavors so and did our guests. My husband and I recently celebrated our 1-year anniversary and Crystal made our anniversary cake! Delish! I can't wait to use her again for the next time I need a cake!

Crystal was great. From the tasting, to dealing with my bride brain, to the day of, she was perfect. The cake turned out beautifully, and tasted great too. Everyone at my wedding raved about the cake. She was very reasonably priced, especially compared to some of the other big name Columbus options, one of which wanted $278 just to deliver my cake. I am so happy I listened to the reviews and went with Crystal. If I ever need a cake in the future, she will be my first call.

Crystal did an amazing job on our wedding cake, it was exactly what I wanted. My husband and I really enjoyed the cake and it was beyond beautiful. We recieved so many compliments on our cake. Crystal was extremely nice and easy going,she listens to every little detail thatI wanted and maked sure it's done right. I recommend her to everyone. I was able to have my dream cake for a price that was unbeatable, but still looked like I paid top dollar.

From the start, Crystal was incredible to work with! She is incredibly professional, creative and flexible. Her cake options are endless. My fiancé wasn't able to make it to the cake tasting last minute due to work and Crystal sent me home with multiple flavor samples and enough icing to sample with all flavors! I was initially attracted to Crystal's cakes based on a combination of style, affordability, and good reviews. After my tasting, I knew she was the one! Her cakes are so delicious, very moist, and the frosting has just enough sweetness. We picked the red velvet (and we aren't even huge fans of red velvet normally - it was that good!) and the white chocolate raspberry (this was a crowd favorite!). She delivered the cake to my venue along with cake stands that I was able to rent from her and she placed some spare flowers that the florist had left for her. When I got to the venue I was blown away by the finished product - it was absolutely beautiful and better than I had even pictured in my mind. And it was DELICIOUS! The best wedding cake I've ever tasted and my guests agreed - I got nothing but rave reviews. I thought her pricing was fare and reasonable, and the quality is top notch. I would 100% recommend Crystal. Thank you Crystal!

My husband and I chose to use Cakes Creatively by Crystal for our wedding. We chose Crystal because of the unique myriad of cake flavors and fillings she offered. It was so hard to chose because everything we tried was delicious! You can tell that Crystal uses fresh, high quality ingredients in her baking! We selected the apple cinnamon cake with a buttercream filling and the strawberry banana cake with a fresh strawberry mousse filling. Both were extremely moist and flavorful and our guests loved having wedding cake that was outside the realm of the traditional white wedding cake. Please do not hesitate to chose this vendor...she was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend Cakes Creatively by Crystal! You will not be disappointed!

Crystal runs a great small business. She meets you at a local restaurant to discuss your wedding cake design and favor choices. I showed her a picture from Pinterest and she did a great job of recreating the look. I chose 3 flavors with fondant icing. Crystal delivered the cake and completed last minute icing and flower decorating on-site. It looked amazing. I heard it tasted great....seems like the bride never gets to sit down and actually eat her food during the reception! My caterer unfortunately served my top layer, so maybe one day I'll order another top to enjoy my 1st anniversary!
