My name is Tammy Cochrane. I am the Owner and Baker/Decorator of Cakes in Vermont. I run a licensed Cottage Bakery in Williamstown Vermont.
All of my cakes and desserts are baked fresh to order, using as many local products as possible including King Arthur flour and farm fresh eggs.
I specialize in custom cakes, gourmet cupcakes and small desserts for all occasions. I love to work with my Clients to come up with a design that represents them. From lace that matches your gown, to hand made sugar flowers. I am excited to chat with you to see what I can create to make your day a little more special!

l to our venue 2 hours away on her birthday, but she was also so efficient that we never saw her come or go before everything was placed perfectly for the reception!
We ended up with delicious chocolate and peanut butter cupcakes, mini cheesecakes (which she had never made but was willing to try and knocked it out of the park!) a carrot cake that was exceptional, a classic white wedding cake, and the best cheesecake for us that we had ever had!
The décor on everything matched our theme perfectly and I just cant say enough good things about the whole process! I would recommend Tammy over and over again to anyone for their wedding!~

s so exciting and refreshing since Tammy asked us to let her know what our favorite desserts were and then she made them into cupcakes and cookies! We had Boston cream pie cupcakes, strawberry shortcake cupcakes, cannoli cupcakes, creme brûlée cookies, and chocolate cheesecake cookies. My absolute favorite is the crème brûlée cookie but the strawberry shortcake cookie was a close second. Everyone loved the options! Tammy even made all the kids vegan desserts because my nephew has a severe egg and milk allergy. She was so accommodating and this helped to prevent unnecessary stress about the allergies. Tammy was great about keeping in touch before the date and this also made me feel so confident in her and her craft. She was so professional and I could really put my trust in her for this task. Thank you so much! Would definitely plan another event just to taste those desserts again!

People can’t stop talking about the Friday night churros, cupcakes etc and the Saturday bonfire’s maple cookies.
Sunday’s berry muffins were levels above any muffins I have ever tasted.
Tammy is a truly talented person who is organized and incredibly helpful. Desserts were so popular at our Friday event that I asked for a very last minute increase for Saturday night and Sunday and she was able and willing to accommodate it. Suggestion: order more of her items than you think you need!
