Rainbow and chantilly cakes are the best combination ever. We had two tier (6 and 9 inches) rainbow & chantilly cakes and 6 dozens of mini-cupcakes (2 dozen each of chantilly, guavan, and pineapple) for our intimate wedding. They were perfect! They accomodated changes to our menu due to postponement of our wedding d/t COVID. Highly recommended!!
Honestly this is the most delicious bakery ever. For our wedding we had their strawberry guava. And since the wedding, we’ve used them for birthday cakes and as a treat yourself. I will be continuing to use this bakery for all celebrations going forward. Also, they do sell them by the slice at Uwajimaya.
WOW I LOVED our wedding cakes so much. We had the coconut pineapple and chocolate Chantilly cake. We had one 3 tire can a sheet cake of the other. We had about 180 people and i think everyone must have taken a slice of both because we didn’t have any left and a lot of people raved about both so bright side it was amazing, downside i only got one piece haha , but that is okay because I am looking forward to our one year where we will go in for our slice again! I also think as far as wedding cake goes it was affordable. We went in before everything and bought like 6 slices to try and see what kind of cake we wanted and they were all amazing.
My husband really loves guava so I wanted a guava cake for our wedding. I had some trouble getting in touch with their wedding person via the phone but heard back much more quickly when I emailed them. From there out, I would just use email as my primary form of communication and things ran smoothly.
They unfortunately dont do free cake tastings like some other cake shops but they do offer $1 off the square cake slices they sell in the store. It is a fun way to try as many flavors as you want.
We got a two tier cake (guava and haupia) for $110 that served 30 persons and it was pretty reasonably priced compared to other cake shops. They dont do crazy designs but I wanted something really simple and classic and they wer able to work off my inspiration pic without any problems. They dont do delivery for a cake that is smaller than 3 tiers though so we had to recruit a family member to pick it up and drive it to our venue the day of our wedding. I love that they make it fresh and the cake was delicious at our wedding. You can also get sheet cakes if you want more cake but on a budget, which is so smart.
I love that we can always return and get our two wedding flavors every anniversary. Would definitely recommend!
I love their cakes and I knew I wanted them the second we started talking about a multi-cake table! We kept the cake design simple and didnt change much of their original style, but when we picked them up, it wasn't the way we wanted it. They quickly fixed it and we were on our way! Our wedding wasn't until the next day but the bakery was closed so we had to pick the cakes up a day earlier but they were still all so beautiful and moist by the time we cut the cake!
The cake was delicious. I wanted a very simple looking cake which is exactly what they created for me, although they forgot to put on the dots around the cake. Minor detail but it would have been nice to have them. The price was within our budget.
The cakes are moist and flavorful. They don't do fondit, but the cakes are beautiful with ribbon and flower decorations. Great flavors like mango, chantilly, and coconut. Original and beautiful.

7/7/2011 I wasn't going to serve cake at my wedding for a variety of reasons... cost, dislike of most sugary commercial baked goods, hatred of butter cream frosting, etc. Stumbled across Cakes of Paradise online and randomly stopped by to try them out (7 days before the wedding). After sampling guava, orange passion, and chantilly, I was hooked. My husband is from Hawaii and gave his approval.
Owner,Greg, is incredibly friendly and easy to work with. Pre-order time is only 48 hours! It is not mentioned on their website, but they deliver for weddings for a minimal fee, and make complimentary anniversary cakes! Prices are reasonable, and much lower than other quotes I had received from other bakeries. The huge sheet cakes we received were awesome! Moist, light, and flavorful. Our guests enjoyed the twist on traditional wedding cake, and the exotic flavors- perfect for summer.
I would highly recommend this bakery for large orders, or to just stop by for a slice!
Tips:
- Bakery is slightly difficult to find, located on the side of business park, look for their sandwich board sign on the sidewalk
- Cakes are made with whipped cream, so be sure to have a cool place to store, or serve immediately
