What I asked for and what was made were for two separate events. I needed a matte black, elegant wedding cake and what was made was a bowler hat for a Charlie Chaplin themed party....
Darlene sent me a picture of the mess she made HOURS before my wedding, describing it as “gorgeous.” I was not happy so instead of fixing it, making the cake she promised, she just said, “I’ll just refund your money!”
Really??? Hours before my wedding? I can’t hire a new vendor, it was too late. I shouldn’t have had to worry about a cake when I was marrying my soul mate. What should’ve been one of the happiest days of my life, I had to try and scramble to find a dessert for my guests and myself that flew in from all over the country to attend my wedding.
I have received no apology from Darlene and as of right now, no refund either.

st experience. We had a phone consultation with Darlene 6 months prior and told her what we liked and let her take it from there. She asked to see a picture of my wedding dress and used inspiration from my dress to decorate the cake and wow she nailed it!
She was SO communicative and sent me a picture the day before and also texted me when she dropped it off to Trevi. The cake was incredible and probably the most delicious cake we’ve ever tasted. All of our guests loved the look and taste!

She was so super sweet, responsive, and accommodating, and the cakes and desserts she made for us were both BEAUTIFUL AND DELICIOUS!!! Darlene really goes above and beyond. She was willing to deliver a cake to both our ceremony and reception dinner (at 2 different locations), and even set up a dessert stand that we ordered and had shipped to her! My only regret was not being able to bring back any of our cakes and desserts to Hawaii! Thank you, Darlene, we hope to order from you for our first anniversary!!!

We wanted our cake to be made out of layers of cookies and she was able to accommodate our custom request. She was very caring and made sure our cookie cake was exactly how we envisioned. ious! Presentation? Gorgeous!!! We couldn't have asked for a better cake and the fact that I had to do everything by phone and all she had to do was ask me to let her take over creatively. She makes the deliveries herself and makes sure that your cake is well taken care of. I put my trust in Darlene and my reception cake was a star! She even remembered my husbands favorite cake flavor and he was a very happy man. :) Definitely look to Cakes on the move for your wedding. You will not be disappointed!

he was so excited to help me and design the cake that it made me even more excited for my wedding. She had the cake set up on time with no hastle to me. It was a goregous cake, with pretty cupcakes and even custom chocolate work of a framed picture of us and chocolate molds to finish out the entire look. it was set up beautifully. We didn't give it 5 stars because the chocolate layer was supposed to be covered in European fudge, which we couldn't find (maybe it was on there and if it was, it wasn't noticeable). My husband loved the cake and I thought it could have been more moist. It cut beautifully and our guests enjoyed it, but no one raved about it, like we hoped they would.
