Cake tasted great and was beautiful; it got a lot of compliments. Only a small hiccup of our order not being written down completely, but the team fixed it quickly and graciously. Highly recommend—tasty cake at prices lower than some of the bigger names vendors.

If you decide to use this vendor, show them exactly what you want, have them agree that this is what they will do, and do not pay in full until you are satisfied with the product. The cake for my daughter's wedding, was not the color, the top two layers were tilting backwards, the 'flowers' on the cake were really bad, there was no piping at the base of the layers, and it was nothing like they assured her it would be. It was extremely frustrating and costly for what she got - REALLY disappointing. The lady and gentlemen who delivered the cake did not speak English and I don't speak Spanish - big problem. They were trying to help but we could not communicate. Very disappointing. Be weary.

The cake was delicious, I had four layers and each layer was a different flavor. Delivery and set up process was quick and professional. The girls at the bakery are amazing!

Candis was nothing but amazing through this whole process. She was so quick to respond to texts and emails and even went as far as to deliver samples to my work when I couldn't make it into the bakery. The cake was gorgeous and so tasty!! She is definitly someone I would recommend.

Cakes U Crave made us the greatest cake I have ever scene. What's beyond the beautiful cake is how incredibly amazing it tasted! We received so many compliments about the cake. I loved how we could specify each layer of the cake to be different. We had enough variety to fully satisfy everyone who attended. I found an idea of a cake style that I wanted and they were able to perfectly recreate it! They made the selection process easy and they delivered on time. Definitely try the almond and the amaretto cakes!

We asked for a custom cake flavoring and they delivered! We picked their flavors for most of the tiers but asked for a custom filling that was special to us and we got exactly what we wanted. I can’t recommend them more.

Absolutely wonderful! Candis is just like her cakes, professional and sweet. The cakes were all delicious and perfectly decorated as we requested. All flavorings are natural, including the fresh strawberries in the buttercream. All very reasonably priced. Cake was delivered at the correct time and looked perfect when we arrived.

Their cakes are so delicious & so pretty. The people who attended my wedding are still talking about it from last week. I would totally recommend them to anyone who is planning an event.

I got both cakes for my wedding from Cakes U Crave, Candis is sweet and super helpful, she did an amazing job at a great price. Her cakes are probably the best tasting cake I have ever had!

This was one of my best decisions for my wedding. I was between Candis' cakes and a different fancy pants bakery, and after the cake tasting, there was no contest. Candis' cakes are so delicious, and not overly sweet, which is right up my alley. She created this dream of a cake for me, with chocolate on the top and vanilla on the bottom, and strawberry cream frosting in the middle. Not only did it taste amazing, it looked stunning as well. I was so sad when the servers cleaned up my piece while I was dancing. I'll be dreaming about that cake forever.

Candis is amazing at her job! She was always prompt to communicate with me up to the week of the wedding. Her prices are very reasonable. Her cakes are delicious and beautifully decorated. She truly tries to make each cake as if it was for her own event. I would HIGHLY recommend her!

We were so pleased with Cakes U Crave! I found Candis on Thumbtack, she was very responsive, informative, professional and overall very pleasant to talk to. We set up a cake tasting day, we were very impressed with varieties of cakes, styles and designs she makes, she is very talented and her skills were beyond of our expectations. The delivery, set up of the cake were as arranged. As a bride, I was blown away with how my cake looked, she did such an Amazing job on design, fresh flowers on cake and most important, the taste. We had a great experience pre wedding. Tasting was great and we came up with a plan. We were very pleased with the arrival and set up of the cakes we ordered. The only thing I did not necessarily like was that cake boxes were not provided, nor was I told to bring some. I purchased two cakes for a decent amount of money (I do feel as if they were worth the money), and I had to throw away my cake because I had no way of taking it home. The entire bottom tier of the main cake and half of the grooms cake were wasted. Nothing I can do about it now, just wanted to let others know to ask about boxes! Overall, great customer service and I would still recommend because the cakes were delicious and Candis was super nice! My husband LOVED his grooms cake!

Candis is AWESOME! Our Cake was custom flavors with Ferrero Rocher butter cream and vanilla cake. She gave us two other hazel nut flavors to try during our tasting and we loved them too but could not keep our hands of that butter cream frosting. At the wedding and even after, I got so many compliments on how awesome our cake was. I am happy the cake was remarkable even after a few weeks and she is VERY reasonably priced. I would also like to commend her on her responsiveness through txt. She answered all my questions and confirmed the trial too. If you are looking for cakes for any occasion - Candis is your person. Our wedding coordinator referred us to Candis for our wedding cake. It was absolutely one of the BEST referrals we received! Candis made us a 4 tier almond flavor cake - EVERYBODY loved it!! Even non-cake eaters went away eating 2 slices! Was so happy to hear everyone enjoyed the cake as much as we did and we only had very little to take home. Candis and Cakes U Crave were awesome! She has delicious flavors for both icing and cake and was willing to be creative with us (I wanted a funfetti cake)! We did a tasting early on and were impressed with her designs, the samples tasted amazing and she helped worked within our price range. The wedding cake and grooms cake both looked and tasted incredible. On the day of the wedding I had gotten to the venue early and she had already dropped off the cakes; when I went into the reception room I was astounded at how true to the design they were. She can do it all! Don't hesitate to trust her with providing a delectable end (or beginning) to your event!

Candis is incredible! We met her at an open house through our venue, had one piece of cupcake and fell in love. She has so many options for flavors of cake, filling, icing, etc., it was hard to choose just a few! The day of our wedding she had a beautiful display of our cupcakes and cake tier; our guests are still talking about how good they were! We are truly grateful for her help in making our wedding amazing and sweet :)

Candis is a wonderful baker and cake designer. She made our wedding cake exactly how we imagined it; a tiered cake with orange ombre colored plumeria flowers . She uses fresh ingredients and mixes in real fruit into her strawberry cake and other fruit fillings. Also, she transported it all the way to Galveston. All of our guests raved about how beautiful and delicious the cake was. We have definitely been back since to order more things : )
