tually fell in love with everything we tasted so we chose to have a four tier cake made of four different flavors which Rosa handled with ease. She was so great and working with us on what we wanted in terms of how to decorate and I love that I could text her anytime if I had questions. She is so personable and hands on in her work. At the wedding we got rave reviews on the cake. People literally said it was the best tasting wedding cake they have ever had! She really outdid herself. In the mix of things the day after the wedding we actually lost the cake stand that we were supposed to return to rosa and we offered to reimburse her for it but she so graciously declined and told us not even to worry about it! I would go back to Rosa for any of my dessert needs in the future for sure!

She was totally fine with us altering our cake flavors and adding some macarons to our order. We ended up with a 4 layer tiered cake, all of which had different flavors and all of which our guests raved about. I didn't know I loved red velvet cake until I tried hers :) I would highly recommend her for delicious desserts, affordable prices, and to support a local DC business. Thank you, Rosa!

Ever gracious and eager to satisfy, Rosa communicated regularly with emails, set up a lovely and homey tasting array, and collaborated with us on a custom designed Washington DC themed tiered wedding cake. She invited me to be involved in the design to ensure I got what I wanted, checking in with me about design images, colors, and even the cake stand, which she went out and found on our behalf. I was so pleased at her dedicated demeanor and efforts to go above and beyond despite the fact that she was running her own show and newly established that I entreated her to design DC inspired cookies for me as well. True to form, Rosa delivered on this as well, providing reasonably priced cookies with multiple adorable and technically artistic designs. She even honored my request to bake cookies in more than one flavor and bagged them separately as a courtesy. Every touch she put on those cookies was well appreciated, and guests left the cookie platters without a crumb. In all, working with Rosa was a fun and rewarding experience of close and constructive conversations, professional passion, and seamless delivery.
