I'm Shannon and I would LOVE to create the desserts of your dreams! I have 25 years of cake decorating experience and specialize in wedding cakes. I truly love what I do and consider it an honor to be considered to participate in your special day! I love to get to know engaged couples and find out the fun stuff about them. Since everyone at the wedding is there to support and celebrate, I really enjoy bringing some personal touches to the event. My favorite thing to do is add unique, unexpected, and sometimes hidden decor to cakes so that guests have NO doubt who the centerpiece was made specifically for. I have sculpted favorite pets, sports memorabilia, printed photographs of loved ones, or added countless individual favorites and "inside jokes" to provide a truly unique and one-of-a-kind expression of the love between them. My favorite is when a bride or groom contacts me to place something that their fiancee loves to surprise them!
At Cakin' Care of Business, we have a large variety of desserts that can be customized. One of our most popular options is the Cuppa™ Cake. This is an individual serving of cake that comes decorated in a clear container with a domed lid. This makes them convenient and tidy to eat with a fork, they stay covered and safe from fingers, bugs, and dust, and they are easy to pop the lid back on if you don't want to eat the entire portion at one time. They can be stored, packed, and transported with ease and any leftovers are easily popped in the freezer for a future treat!
One of our other popular choices is decorated sugar cookies. We have an edible printer, so any cookie or candy can be completely customized. Want your engagement photo printed on a cookie? Want to make ultra-special attendant proposal cookies? Want something printed on M&Ms? We can do all of these and so much more!!

I stumbled upon cake decorating in 1999 and I never looked back. I grew up near San Diego, Ca and found the quieter life in Wyoming in 2011. I met my husband showing horses and we moved back to his family ranch in Nebraska in 2018. We have 2 kiddos, Savannah and Sterling. I have enjoyed my business the most since moving to the Mid-West. The large family gatherings, the sense of family and community and getting to share in the most beautiful day of so many amazing couples is so rewarding!
