Caladesi Steel Band

We booked the Caladesi Steel Band for an event at our brewery on Clearwater Beach. Not only were they absolutely amazing bringing a tropical theme to the party but David was so easy to deal with and prompt with his responses to any questions I had! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a steel drum band!

Dave & his Caladesi Steel Band are not only very talented but professional and friendly. We used them for a 250-person corporate event, they set the perfect stage for our welcome reception near the sea. Attendees loved them. They are self-contained, so no added expense for the hotel to run electrical, and gladly allowed us to use their sound system for the welcome speech. Perfect experience!

They were perfect for our beach front ceremony and cocktail hour . Created a perfect play list so everyone enjoyed ! Couldn’t be more pleased with the great experience we had with them ! They are the best!

Absolutely wonderful!!! I hired Caladesi Steel Band for my rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception. They were absolutely wonderful to work with! I truly had no idea what songs to pick, so they were super helpful in coming up with ideas for me. My wedding guests were so impressed. Everyone was in awee of the music coming from their drums. This really added the extra wow factor to my wedding. My guests said this is something that they will remember forever. I cannot recommend them enough!!!

Great band that will add an island atmosphere to any occasion!

We hired Dave to play for our Valentine’s Day rehearsal dinner which was on the water, and I loved the idea of a steel band to go along with the vibe. Dave was professional from our very first communication, and everyone absolutely loved the music!! He was fantastic and even let some of our guests try to learn a few tricks on the steel drum. I would 100% recommend Dave to anyone – and will certainly be hiring him again next time I am in need of a fabulous steel band!

When we knew we were going to have a destination beach wedding, we knew we wanted to do steel drums. It gives the ambiance such a vacation type vibe, and we LOVE the sound of them. I hired Caladesi Steel Band to play for the ceremony and cocktail hour at my wedding. I had a steel drummer and guitarist and it was absolutely beautiful!! I did A LOT of research before choosing a vendor and Caladesi Steel Band exceeded my expectations. Dave was so easy to work with. I had a lot of questions and requested a few song samples ahead of time as I was trying to decide on my ceremony music and he was very responsive and helpful. Their website is also intuitive and useful with recommended wedding songs, YouTube videos of real weddings, and they allow you you pay online, which i personally love because of the convenience. The combination of the steel drums and the guitar was magical and my guests raved about the music. It was the perfect combination of tropical and classy, and really set the tone for the rest of the night. Thank you Caladesi Steel Band!!!

Fantastic !!! I got married in Florida last weekend and it was a destination wedding ! We booked them for our ceremony and cocktail hour and I was speechless ! What an amazing job , from walking down the aisle to here comes the bride to island music at our cocktail party , my husband and I were beyond pleased ! Our guests after the wedding said it made the cocktail hour ! I would highly highly recommend them !

Caladesi Steel Band provided the background music for my son's outdoor rehearsal dinner at The Don Cesar in St. Pete Beach, FL. They were awesome!! They were easy to deal with, professional & provided that extra "WOW" factor that I was looking for. Not to mention the music was perfect. I can't say enough good things about them.

We had Dave play at our rehearsal dinner at the Vinoy in St Pete. His music was great and it was a perfect fit for our evening! He is easy to work with and very responsive. He was also very interactive with my guests, who also loved him and the music. I would certainly have Dave again for another event and highly recommend you use him for yours!

We hired Caladesi Steel Band for our Don Cesar wedding and reception. They played a few songs before the ceremony and after and then joined us for about 45 minutes to play during our cocktail hour. Sadly, I didn't get to hear much of their playing since I was off taking pictures but when I did it sounded great and we had so many compliments from out guests on them. Thanks Caladesi ! Working with Dave was fantastic. Having a destination wedding, it was hard to not be able to meet with a lot of our vendors in person. Dave was extremely responsive, and went above and beyond to make our day so special. I had a song that my friend was going to sing as I walked down the aisle, and Dave reached out to her and made sure they both knew what key they were going to play in, and so on. He also stayed a bit longer to make sure we had music during the group photos. It was a great addition to our already beautiful ceremony, and Dave was just a pleasure to work with. I'd recommend him to anyone :)
