Beautiful and Delicious Wedding Cake!
We ordered our wedding cake from Calandra's Bakery through our venue and they exceeded all of our expectations!

ust as amazing as it looked, and Calandra’s delivered exactly that. The design was absolutely beautiful and elegant. The cake was incredibly fresh, moist, and absolutely delicious.
Calandra's has a legendary reputation in NJ for a reason, and they brought that exact top-tier quality to our big day. The ordering process was seamless, and the delivery to our venue was completely stress-free. We highly recommend them to any couple looking for the perfect wedding cake!
A wedding cake from Calandra’s Bakery was available to my husband and I through our venue’s preferred catering service. It was easy to schedule a tasting, and once we selected our ...
cake, they worked directly with our catering company. One qualm I had was that we didn’t know exactly what our cake would look like until the day-of. No mockup was sent, only a quick sketch was drawn. We would have liked to have seen the colors and style of the ornate details, especially since we paid extra for those details to be added to our cake.
We had a great experience with Calandra's Bakery for our wedding cake. The sales team was responsive, organized, and easy to work with throughout the planning process. Our cake loo...
ked beautiful, tasted delicious, and received many compliments from our guests. Everything went smoothly, and we were very happy with the final result. We'd gladly recommend them to other couples planning their wedding!
The cake was absolutely delicious and beautifully piped. Our cake ended up being included in our venue cost, so we didn't pay any additional money for it.
We used Calandra’s Bakery in Caldwell for our wedding cake in November 2025. They worked with us to pick the perfect cake for our celebration. Their tasting process was so easy and...
fun! Our guests we so impressed with the taste and appearance of the cake. We loved how it turned out, from the icing to the flowers and the filling, it was a perfect wedding cake for a perfect night. All photos credited to Brad Resnick Photography (https://bradresnick.com/)
Choosing our cake with Calandra’s bakery was a no-brainer! Their company was included in our package with Hudson House and we appreciated the in-person tasting and designing sessio...
n. Although we went with a classic vanilla cake and chocolate fudge, all of their cake flavors were delicious! The designing session was quick and easy and we were able to slightly edit an existing design with no issue! Since Calandra’s works regularly with Landmark locations, we knew there would be no problem with their collaboration. Our cake was beautiful on the day of and an even sweeter treat to enjoy! Definitely recommend Calandra’s for your wedding cake needs!
We used the Madison hotel connection of Calandra's Bakery, and received lots of compliments on the cake. We did not do a tasting. We picked out everything over a phone call / email...
. And, went with a standard option (no up-charge). It was difficult to get in touch with them, but I can assure you that everything worked out! So for those that are stressing, do not stress!
Our venue included a cake with one of their preferred bakeries and we chose Calandra’s. The tasting was great, it was in person and there were over 26 different variations to test ...
out. We chose a 3-tier cake: 1 layer of chocolate with chocolate mousse, 1 with vanilla and Italian custard, and 1 with chocolate with Italian custard. There were also many different style options to choose from! My husband and I of course only ate a bite or two during our reception, but according to our guests it was delicious 😅 our venue packed up the top tier for us to take home so can’t wait to eat it for our 1st anniversary!!
The most delicious cake ever!!!!! This process was so simple and fun! We went to calandras a few months prior to the wedding. They provide multiple flavors and options to taste tes...
t! I can’t wait until our one year anniversary to eat the rest of the cake!!
Ordering for our wedding was overly complicated. Asked for pricing and quantities for pastries and cookies, and even sent an itemized estimate myself, but couldn’t get a straight a...
nswer. Placed the order by phone and then they still had the wrong order written on the receipt. Then placed the order for 150 pastries and 4lbs of cookies and it did not all arrive. Additionally be careful about timing if doing delivery - my wedding cake and order arrived 2.5 hours after their stated delivery time. I had to spend time at my wedding reception tracking down the delivery. They didn’t even reach out to let us know it was going to be late. Honestly disappointing and uneccesarily stressful for such a reputable company. For a $1k+ order we expected better service.
Our cake was amazing! The communication with the bakery was a little difficult to schedule a tasting but overall we wouldn’t change a thing.
My husband & I loved how our wedding cake looked & tasted! Calandra's worked with us to create a floral design with purple & gold, that wasn't too flashy & looked like a spring wed...

Our wedding cake was stunning! The cake tasting process was so fun, and the team was so easy to work with!
We were able to choose between Calandra’s and another bakery for our cake included with our venue- it was a no brainer for us. We’ve had Calandra’s wedding cakes a number of times-...
each time it’s beyond fresh and absolutely delicious. We did one layer chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and custard filling and two layers vanilla cake with cannoli filling. Both were beyond amazing. It was also so beautiful and exactly what we asked for!
We got our wedding cake from Calandra's Bakery. They have so many flavors to choose from, and their cakes are magnificent works of art! We got a four tier cake to feed 250 people...
. We had such a good time at our tasting, sampling all the different flavor combinations, and enjoying some complimentary coffee. The flavors we chose were vanilla cake with chocolate pudding, chocolate and vanilla cake with Italian custard and strawberries, and chocolate cake with dulce de leche. Their dulce de leche is the best I have ever tasted! Designing the cake was super easy and so fun! If you want a cake that not only looks spectacular, but tastes just as good, Calandra's is it!
The bakery was very easy to work with and the cake tasted amazing. We chose different flavors for each tier and felt they were all amazing. Our venue has a partnership with Calan...
dra's Bakery so most of the cost of the cake was covered by our contract with the venue. We only separately paid for the flowers and the strawberries in our bottom tier.

Our guests were raving about both how gorgeous the cake was and how delicious it tasted. So many of them said it was the best wedding cake they’ve ever had!
Additionally, we had a bit of a mishap on the day of our cake trial—we got lost and ended up arriving 30 minutes late. We felt awful, but they were so kind and gracious about it, and still gave us a warm, welcoming experience. The cake tasting itself was a highlight of the process, and the service was top-notch.
We highly recommend Calandra's for anyone looking for not only a stunning cake but also a wonderful experience from start to finish!

Looking forward to our one year anniversary so we can eat our top tier!

heir own little plaza because they also have a restaurant side. We booked the Sweet Suite for our tasting (which was not expensive at all!). It’s a private area for you and your partner to enjoy the cake tasting and it also includes champagne, or wine! Ohhh so many cakes to taste and all delicious! We went with chocolate cake and cannoli filling. We didn’t want to go to crazy with the design, and they were so understanding and helped designed the cake how WE wanted it, not the other way around. I would suggest just stopping by there to get pastries because it’s that good!!
Going to our cake tasting we didn't really know what flavor we wanted. There were so many options and they all tasted so good! I'm normally not a caramel fan but the chocolate cake...
with caramel filling really won me over. My husband and I were in the reception space when the cake got delivered and it looked better than I imagined! d they were patient with us while we decided how to design our cake. We gave them two custom figurines of our dogs and they were more than happy to include them on our cake! If you hire them for your wedding cake needs, then you can trust that you are in talented and capable hands! Thanks again!
Delicious wedding cake! The cake tasting was so fun.
This is the cake company of venue works with so we didn’t search through other vendors to find them. The cake the day of was lovely and delicious! We had 3 tiered cake a different ...
filling in each tier. They offer a tasting which I highly recommend to taste all of the flavors. Any add one and custom fillings like berries were a lot more expensive so we went with a plain cake design and got extra flowers from the florist. Delivered on time and in perfect shape, couldn’t have asked for anything better!

We had our florist add real flowers to the cake too and it was so beautiful! For our wedding favor, we choose big chocolate chip cookies and they were amazing and a huge hit with all our guests! I highly recommend Calandra's as your wedding cake vendor!
The raspberry preservative filling in our wedding cake was so delicious !!! I’m excited our wedding cake looked just like the inspo picture I showed them and tasted great as well

riety of cake samples (all of which were very generous portions!). Once we were done tasting the different flavors, we talked through layers and design with Aisha, who made the process so seamless and practically mindless (which we appreciated since our heads were in a million other directions with wedding planning). We ended up with three great layers (cannoli, red velvet and strawberries w/ custard) decorated with cascading sugar flowers, and it was a show-stopper!
